Hmm... Maybe Thanksgiving week.

Oh, I am afraid my hubby may get tired of me wanting to go to all of these places.

Do what I do - I am always wanting to go somewhere, so every time I am about to book a short trip somewhere I back out at the last second and put that money in the Disney fund!

I hope you are all well, and not as wet as we are here. POURING RAIN!!!!!!

Good day to go to LOWE's and spend some money on some stuff we need to do around the house and garden I guess.

Other than that, I'll be babysitting my niece and nephew for 4 days this week (they arrive tonight), and I'll also be watching my ticker till our getaway next weekend... because after a week with 4 kids Lake will be in need of a holiday!

Morning all.

Dreary, muggy day in the 'burgh. Yuck!

Well, my computer is up and running! We bought a new one yesterday. I swear, I keep spending money like I have it.

I am having my family over for dinner tonight... So I am going to clean this place up the best that I can and then try to get some pictures up for you all to see.

Other that that it's just clean, cook, clean again....

Oh, and enjoy my sweet new computer.

Well, no new niece or nephew yet. I had fully suspected he or she would be born this morning and the birth would interfere with me seeing MP's first race at Worlds, but it didn't happen.

I'm getting very "auntsy" for the baby to get here! Get it? Antsy? Heehee.

MP (and the rest of the 4 X 100 relay team~Lochte, Grevers, and Adrian) just won the gold which was definitely NOT expected. They beat the French again (just like the 2008 Olympics)!!! The hero of race was Nathan Adrian who won it for the US in the last 50 meters. Woo-hoo! I may or may not have been jumping around
and yelling at my TV during the race. Good thing DH was in the shower and the girls were downstairs at the time.

Lake~good luck with your niece and nephew. You're a super aunt for doing that! At least you won't be bored waiting for your Pittsburgh trip, right???

RF~have a great dinner party! Is it your first in the new house??? And yay for a new computer!!!

Shelly~congratulations for getting crap out of your house. It feels good, doesn't it?

Hey Trix!

Beautiful day here with NO RAIN!! We went to church this morning and watched the kids perform all of their VBS songs. Very cute. Then we decided to let all the things that still need done around here go for a bit while we went and did something fun for a change! We went to lunch at a little sandwich shop in our new town and to the Living Treasures Animal Park. We weren't sure how far the animal park was from here, but it was only about 20 minutes or so. It was fun, the kids had a blast feeding the animals. But it was a pretty small place and we were done in less than 2 hours. Then we came home and got back to work! Hung the rest of the curtains. Worked at the landscaping. Gave the dog a bath. Watched the kids ride their 4-wheelers. Etc!

Hope everyone else is having a great weekend. I guess I'll watch Big Brother in a few hours. Even though I think it is pretty boring this season.

We are kind of equal distance from 3 of them...Niagara Falls, Traverse City, Mi, and Sandusky , Oh....

I've never been though. But we've talked about going one winter.

Hello MAYers!


Never been to Great Wolf Lodge. I have almost booked it a few times though. The one in Sandusky, OH is the closest to us. It's just been one of those things that I have kind of wanted to do but in the end I back out and put the money towards Disney!

RF - What's everybody wearing? You are too funny!!

So what is everyone wearing?! I hadn't really planned to dress up too much, but I can if you guys are! I'm just hoping for nice weather at this point! I probably won't dress the kids up too much. It's likely that they will be in the fountains right after dinner anyway!

Have you guys seen the latest Disney offer? Apparently the last 3 months of the year are not booked as solid as they would like. As if Free Dining isn't enough now they are offering 28%-39% off the resorts. Too bad you can't combine offers! I'm not too greedy am I?!

I hope this doesn't draw in huge crowds.
