Okay- question time for the MAYers.

Hypothetically speaking, of course...

If you were to get a 40% off deal--- which would you do and why?

Poly-- garden view, DxDP, park hoppers etc.

or for $165 more--
CL WL all the other stuff stays the same?

I've sort of gotten myself stuck, thanks to my being nosey and pricing things. out.


Don't know if it would be worth staying CL for $165 more.

Anyone know? Tas- I know you stayed CL at the POLY. What did you love about it? What kind of good stuff did they give you?

For me, CL was totally worth it. Some of these things are specific to the Poly and others are just CL specific. We liked having the snacks and beverages available to us all day especially in the mornings. We were able to eat a really quick and light breakfast and hit the parks a running!

Another perk that we really liked was having our purchases for the day brought directly to our rooms instead of needing to stop at the gift shop to pick them up.

The Poly CL lounge has a great view of the castle and you can watch the fireworks from there if you want. They pipe in the music.

The CL building at the Poly is located right next to the pool and the beach. The pool is literally just to the side of the Hawaii building entrance.

One thing you'll gain access to if you stay CL at any resort is the Wildlife Safari. I think it's like $45 a person. It was so worth it. You got an hour in an air conditioned van/tram to view all the animals out and about in the safari plains. We really got a good opportunity to view the animals as they walked about, lounged, etc. without being moved speedy along the ride path.

If it was my choice, hands down I'd stay at the Poly. Of course, I have never stayed at the WL so I may be a bit biased

I'm sure you've already done this, but have you checked out Tikiman's site? He has some really great pictures of the CL stuff at the Poly.
