My wife decided that I needed a new hoodie - so rather than argue, I let her buy it for me. Ok, I know I forgot to smile...but I really like the embroidery and patches on this one...

What is really cool about the jacket is that on the inside, it has Walt Disney's Disneyland opening speech silk screened on to it "To all who come to this happy place..."

NC- your room sounds so much like mine! Three floor to almost ceiling huge windows, 10 ft tall ceilings, hardwood floors. My problem is that room opens to our eat in kitchen with windows which flows on into our Hearth room aka "coffee room" (b/c we drink coffee in there in the mornings) with windows. I really like your idea of the short rod. I have been staring at my wall of windows thinking that if I had to do a rod that long it would be 1) ugly and 2) more $$ than I want to spend. And I know that it would quiet my room down so much- it is like a herd of buffalo roaming when someone walks in there. I know it would warm it up too. Sigh. I just need to do it. Mark keeps telling me to call the drapery lady- to just get it done. I'm the one dragging my feet. I don't want to spend the $$ and either hate it or have us move in the next year or so.

Trixie---- sorry about your DD! That is awful--- hope she is feeling better soon.

Sea- awesome DL report. I love that I know exactly where all of those pics are. Do you have any from NOS?????:lovestruc Sleeping Beauty castle looks lovely with snow- and I love your new hoodie!

We didn't even walk by NOS on Saturday...but I will go over there next time and take some pictures of the Christmas decorations.

Cute hoodie Sea!!! It looks great on ya! :thumbsup2

Thank you!

Tas- I hope you have a wonderful DL vacation-- I know you must be so very excited.:lovestruck

Wheeeee...I am SUPER excited! Just 2 days to go at this point and we are SO not ready to go.

I've been distracted (to put it mildly) by a highly addictive game on the Xbox. Ugh. While it's kept me from obsessing about the upcoming trip (a good thing), it's also enabled me to be a lazy butt and sit on the couch during my free time instead of doing laundry and packing!

I shall do laundry tonight.
I shall do laundry tonight.
I shall do laundry tonight.

Maybe if I say it three times, it'll come true!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Congrats on your 2 day countdown, Tas!

What game is distracting you?

Dragon Age: Origins..it's like computerized crack. The game has so many different endings/scene combinations/etc. and I can be obsessive about seeing as many as I can.

It is a lot of money, which is why I have waited on my dining room so long. Chloe was finishing first grade when I got those drapes and is now in 6th grade. So, hopefully I waited long enough. Usually about the time I get my house the way I like it, we move, so I know that feeling too!

My son is still grounded from computerized crack!

My son is still grounded from computerized crack!

So happy I'm an adult and can't be grounded anymore! :)

And btw, Dragon Age is a VERY adult themed game. It's not child appropriate in case he tries to sneak that particular type of crack by you once he's allowed to see the computer crack pusher again.

Tas-- have a wonderful safe trip to see the Mouse! Hope Eliska loves the Princesses and gives beautiful kisses to Mickey and company.

Have fun!

Gloomy day here in MD. Cloudy with a chance of showers. I'd rather have meatballs.

Tas- Lay off the computerized crack and get ready for that trip or you'll be grounded by the Mayers! 2 DAYS!!! :scared: Not another procrastinator...my heart can't take it! :faint:

We have a construction paper ornament from the 90's of my son when he was in preschool. He has this angry face, like I don't want you to take my photo face. Pasted on that angel it is too funny! He should have little horns instead of a halo!
:rotfl::lmao:
Psssht.... Whatever.

We got Snoop on our sideline.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Snoop? Really? That's the best you can do?

Trixie- If I had photoshop, I'd make one of you and your beloved Mr. Phelps. I can picture it now. Phelps standing next a body with a zebra mickey head pasted on where her face should be. Hope you get that day without kids real soon or at least a day without fevers. :sad2:
I still have my littlest day care guy out. Haven't had my baby cuddles from him since last Tuesday. :sad1:Poor thing. This flu business is nothing to mess with this year.

Sea- Thanks for sharing those lovely pictures! Love the new hoodie. How ironic you can get BBQ right next door to the pardoned turkey. So what does the first family eat on Thanksgiving then? Do they just get the other turkey that wasn't so lucky? I've always wondered.

Glad you liked the pics - thank you! Maybe the Obamas had tofurkey? Who knows. LOL!

Yea, the BBQ thing is quite ironic indeed. Even more ironic is that about 1,000 feet away there is a vending cart selling turkey legs! :lmao:

:rotfl: Poor little turkey was probably on his best behavior worried if they ran out at the turkey leg cart he'd be on the menu next!

Happy travels Tas.

Rf- Really????? Snoop Dog... I'm sure we can do so much better than that for our boys.
President Obama, Michael Keaton ect... :)

So WDW must be getting desperate for some visitors....guess who got a pin code in the mail today. Yep, they are trying to draw in us foreigners now.:rotfl:

Happy Decemeber everyone.

Obama is pulling for a Gator win. One of his Secret service agents has a son who plays for us.:thumbsup2

Jo

Morning! :goodvibes I woke up early and went to the gym this morning! Yay me! :rotfl2:

I know that some of you are avid gym people - do you have any suggestions on workouts? I generally have 45 min - hour to work out and after I do a 1/2 hour of cardio I am kind of lost as to where to go from there. I know I need to do more work with weights, but I don't know what to do.

Oh yeah - and I'm sorry!!! Snoop was the 1st one that came to mind. LMAO. :lmao: He's definitely the most intimidating of those choices. :scared:
