We had a great Thanksgiving! I ate way too much!

Friday, Chloe and I decorated. I had fun doing that with her. She is a fun gal. She carries our tree down stairs. It is just so funny to see her do this. She did it last year without asking me. So there is no stopping her from doing it now.

Saturday we just hung around and watched football. We watched the Florida/Floriday State game. Even though it was a blowout, I was amazed at how the Florida fans stayed in the stadium and didn't leave the game early. What a great tribute to Tim Tebow, that the fans didn't leave early to "beat" the traffic. I was amazed.

Then we watched the sad, sad, LSU/Arkansas game. We lost in OT. It still makes me mad.

Sunday of course was church. My Sunday school girls were so sweet. I really do love them. Then we went out for Mexican food and went to see Blind Side. Loved it! Our entire family enjoyed it, but I think I enjoyed it the most.

Then when we got home, the Ravens and Steelers were playing. I felt bad because because I know you guys are Steeler fans, but I just couldn't help rooting for the Ravens and Michael Oher. You have to understand I had just seen the movie. I couldn't help myself. It was an amazing game.

Oh yeah! I forgot to mention... NC - Your tree is beautiful! Very elegant.

Mine looks more like the tree from 'A Christmas Story'. Crap falling all off of it and way too much tinsel. But, that's how we like it. LOL.

I'll post pics of my tree whenever I get around to posting all the other stuff I keep promising.

NC- Your tree is gorgeous! I can't wait to get ours this weekend. I'm so excited for this Christmas! And not all of us on here are Steelers fans I went grocery shopping yesterday and saw two grown men having a little tiff in the chip aisle because one was wearing a Ravens jersey and the other had on a Steelers jersey.

Trixie- Sorry your DD is sick again. Doesn't it make you feel great that even the doctors haven't gotten this H1N1 figured out. Congrats to your DD7 for getting a playdate invite from a new friend!

Thanks RF. I can't wait to see your tree! Our tree just has family ornaments we have colleted over 18 years of marriage. Some of them are cheesy construction paper ornamnets the kids made at school with their picture glued on it and a pipe cleaner hook, but those are my favorite ones!!!

AG, after I could FINALLY SEE that sale, there was't anything I wanted. Julie's Hoops outfit is on sale. I ran up stairs only to find Julie is currenlty wearing that outfit. Duh! We already own it. So I didn't buy anything after spending my whole day on that.

My kids make an ornament for our family every year. They are my favorites too. My mom still has some from when I was little on her tree. Nothing says Christmas like a construction paper angel from the 80's.
