Makes me wonder where you put the Santa hat.
So far we only have a few things up. Here is our fireplace, Mickey was the first up just like every season.
I am so happy that I'm not the only one that has their tree up this early,everyone in my family thinks I'm crazy.

Heading to the school here in a bit to get all set up for Santa's Workshop. It starts the day after the break. The kids are done at 12:30 today. I think DH might be done early today too now that I think of it. We have the Star Wars concert this Sunday. The kids still know nothing about it!!

Do most of you put your christmas decorations up around thanksgiving???
Or do you keep the two holidays separate.
As you know our Canadian thanksgiving was early October. So we definitely get a holiday and occasion all of its own. Which is all about giving thanks for the leaves and the harvest, family and friends ect...
So the two holidays being farther apart are very much separate and different.
With having it so much closer to christmas...how do you keep Thanksgiving its own holiday, considering half of North America already has christmas trees up, and lights on the house
I know!!! I feel the same way! I love Edward in the books. But Edward in the movies is just OK. I am starting to love Taylor Lautner! I thought he did soooo good in this movie! He made me want to root for him.
I want to see the Blind Side too.... Maybe next week...

It really was super easy, anyone can make one. It was just 2 wreaths, one cut in half. Because the wire was so thick my DH cut it and twisted the wires together. I just used left over decorations and ribbon to decorate it. And because I hate to change the lights over and over, I spent a little more and bought a string of soft white LED dome lights. They are the little ones. I think with the cost of the lights and the wreaths I spent no more than $20. Now I am going to make a new one for the porch, but since I have some left over mini mickey head ornaments I am going to have a little more on it than this one. Here is a picture of the back where the wires are wrapped. Also, try and find a slightly smaller wreath to cut, you don't want the ears to be too big.
