Forgot to tell you all that my licensing specialist popped in this morning- she doesn't waste any time! All went well! Now I'm just waiting for the fire marshal to show up!

Congratulations! One down, one more to go! :cool1:

Way to go!!! :thumbsup2

Morning all..... i'm going to play the this time next week game.... even if all by myself....

ok so next week at this time i'll be landing iin MCO..... going to POP and checking in....
then getting ready to go to either Epcot or Mk for lunch...

oh yeah i forgot to tell you guys i was able to get a Lecellier lunch but on the 9th that I get there.... all i had at that time was the plaza so i feel that is one i can skip..... we'll see what happens....

well off to target today to get the last minute things....

Which are you leaning toward for your lunch?

MK is a little bit further bus ride than Epcot.

Epcot is a shorter bus ride, but depending on where you go, you may have to walk farther.

I love MK on arrival day, it just screams "You are really at WDW!", but I have had a hard time selling it with my family. And somehow TGM doesn't always agree with it being our first park. :rolleyes1

TGM has good strategies, but this is your vacation, not his. If you want to go to MK, go for it. Just being at WDW and taking in the experience can sometimes be more enjoyable than trying to hit as many rides as possible, darting back and forth across a park. :)

I agree with Sea too, do what you want!! :cool1:

Plus I just *MAY* be a little too OCD and controlling to let anyone else tell me where to go on what day of my vacation!! :rotfl:Even a professional such as TGM!

Kim - that is SO funny i just downloaded it to my laptop.....

I agree with you guys i LOVE going to MK our first day there.... i get teary eyed whenever I see the castle.... I'm super excited to tell Marissa about our trip.... Just got home... did some good last minute shopping..... got a great pair of Gap capri's for only 14.99 i love those deals... Now off to pick the attractions that we will ride. In a way i'm a little happy that it's just me and Marissa only because i know that i won't be able to get on the big roller coaster rides so that cuts our time on line in half... just the kiddie rides we will do.... But like Sea said just being in WDW could be enjoyable without the pressure of hitting all the rides....

Afternoon MAYers

Another crazy busy day here. Just checking in between work, school activities, and soccer!! I guess I better go make supper with my spare time!:rotfl:

Hi Shelly! :cool1:

My wife told me to not expect any cooking or cleaning from her for the entire week. It is her "crush week".

Her kindergarten program and graduation is this Friday. We are working on the end of year slide show for her class. Over 400 pictures, plus video with music and captions, titles, etc. I was up to 2 am last night working on it - almost done. This morning she tells me that we have to do the program handout as well because the school office computer crashed. :scared1:

So it is going to be El Pollo Loco tonight -the crazy chicken for the crazy family :lmao:!

Shelly - you deserve the mother award for everything you have been doing lately....

Sea - Have a great meal tonight... i'm about to go cook myself....

i'm making chicken with a cranberry sauce, roasted potatoes and asparagus....

i feel sorry for myself tonight... Marissa fell asleep like 20 minutes ago and it is now 5:15 pm... that just means she won't go to sleep early tonight....

 Thanks Mari!! I am definitely looking forward to the first week after school is out and just relaxing and spending time with MY kids!

Morning

Well, Em and I got poured on yesterday and spent the day stomping about in the mud, but I will say it was a very fun day. The sun came back out just in time for soccer as well. So all in all a good day.

Today will be spent running around, getting a whole bunch of last minute things accomplished. I have a 6 am flight in the morning. I am returning to my hometown of Thunder Bay to attend a memorial service of a very special lady who lived next door to us. She was our surrogate grandma and she passed away in January. They are having a life celebration on saturday, and I just couldn't miss it. I am looking forward to seeing some old friends as well.

The kids are excited about picking me up from the airport on sunday. Ethan asked..mom when can we go on a plane again. I chuckled to myself when I told him it will be a while before we can. haha FLIGHT ALREADY BOOKED buddy!!!!!

So I hope everyone has a great weekend.

SEE YOU MONDAY!

Lake - Enjoy your time over there. I know it's always memorable to go back to the town that you grew up in.

Morning all.... well next week on this day i will be celebrating Marissa's bday. We will be going to DHS. In the am we will be eating in hollywood and Vine.... followed by lunch at Sci fi. .... then bday dinner at Chef Mickey... one of my friends is meeting us at chef mickey to help celebrate her bday... I can't wait..... Marissa is going to be so excited....

Hey all :snooty:

Lake - I'm sorry for your loss. It will be nice to see old friends, too bad the circumstances weren't better. :sad2:

I don't know if I mentioned it or not - but Bob is officially laid off. :guilty: His last day was last Thursday and he filed for unemployment and has decided to take this time and go back to school. It's scary, but hopefully we'll make it through. I am really praying that school will be a good thing. I know that it doesn't always work out - but we are going to try our hardest. I know I am going to need some pixie dust to get us through this. There's been a lot of stuff going on around here lately and I am definitely in one of those 'when it rains it pours' types of moments.

I am going against all tour advice on this trip and going to EMH AMs. I want to get in the parks before it gets too hot!

I have to agree with Sea. MK is ALWAYS our first park just because I don't feel like I'm officially at Disney until we go to MK.

Did you guys see this? I only wish I had a vacation planned to use it- other than the one in my dreams!

I can't get Adobe to work on my computer. I may have to have my hubby update it. Our computers are VERY protected since we have teens in the house. Hubby will have to install the new version of adobe before I can see anything.

Whew! This makes me tired to just think about it.

But I can't imagine a more awesome slide show or program than one that you did! :thumbsup2

 Hopefully school will help, and he can network while there. You just never know when the perfect job/career will pop up! :wizard:

Mari - Not sure if you are planning on going to Block Party Bash but thought this was a cute picture!

Rf - School should be great for him. Tell him to cntact unemployment first though cause they can take it away if he doesn't have their approval first. Also that way he technically doesn't have to "look" for a job. But your state might be different from NJ but tell him to find out first.....

NC - i def want to catch the parade.... I'm SOOOOO excited.....

Morning all....

Only 5 days left.... woohoo....

so next week at this time, i'll be hoping it doesn't rain the way they say it will... boo... but other then that we will be in AK with the night in MK watching the fireworks and electrical parade.... we will be eating breakfast at tusker house with donald with lunch at yak & Yeti (not sure about that one yet) with dinner in MK at crystal palace.....

So today i'm off to my mothers house early to go to the pool..... it is going to be like 90 here today..... too hot to stay home and do nothing.... so off to the mothers pool it is..... will check in later....

Hope you all have a great day.....
