Thermostat and accessible villa question

Hi-
I hope this is the correct area for this question.

I have stayed in DVC studios before and a one bedroom once.
My question is specific to a two bedroom villa.
If I book a 2br villa that must be handicapped accessible, would there be one thermostat or two? Would both the "studio" part and the 1 bedroom part both be handicapped accessible if it is a lockoff?
Would there be a separate thermostat for each sleeping area in a dedicated 2 bedroom?

It may vary some by resort, but usually both parts of a 2 bedroom, whether dedicated or lock-off, are usually HA accessible. Lock-offs will have two thermostats, dedicated usually a single thermostat.

My friend's daughter is disabled and loves to have the room temp roasting and I prefer an ice box. Just trying to see what we would have if I did a 2 bedroom instead of 2 separate studios.

Then I'd definitely recommend a lock-off
