The Duffy Dilemma adding on?​

Things changed since i last posted.. So we have to back up to Sunday GAME DAY!
Sunday i was talking to a friend of mine and telling her the story and how we are leaving on Tuesday. (they are also Disney nuts. Her daughter and Meg are in the same class and great friends) We had mentioned how we should take her daughter Meg too.. Yep two Megs-
One Monday morning she said the air was crazy expensive for a minor. damn. that's terrible maybe next time?
After watching the clock ALL DAY finally 2:00 came i ran out of here! flew home to start my ever loving packing.
Kids came home told me how Meg has cheerleading practice at 5 because of homecoming this weekend! WHAT?! Are you kidding me?!?! Got some stuff packed and off we went to the field. Zack came with.. (while wearing Peanut's headband)


As Meg was learning dance steps to Run DMC it's tricky My friend (Kristy) text me.
Can i check into what it would be to ADD her Meg to my flights.
OK!
I ask Zack. Would you be upset if Kristy sets Meg up to come with us? His reply?
"NO! Meg needs to spend time with more girls.."

Seriously.

How did i get so lucky with these kids??? they hold my heart. What other 11 year old kids would be ok with taking their sister and her friend to Disney without them?!?!

I call the airline (Frontier) spoke to a broken English person who guaranteed me it would be fine but the Mom has to call to add her.
OK.
Call Kristy back. tell her everything. She has all my flight information. an hour goes by and i figured it was a no....

the phone rings! Kristy! Meg is BOOKED WITH US!

WOW! Fantastic! I text Kathy tell her we will be bringing meg along she is excited too! (they also know each other)

COOL BEANS! I will be home about 7:30 She will drop off Meg!

Get home eat shower and PACK!
This time it wasn't me with the packing, i had all my stuff DONE. It was Peanut. she wanted to bring EVERYTHING. Sorry Chick. no can do. Unless you aren't going to buy anything?
That didn't fly. So she packed the necessities.. Duffy. The original. and Duffy pillow pet.

Meg and Kristy came and the excitement in the air was electrifying! Yet i had to tone it down. I didn't want to upset the boys!!!
Before we could do ANYTHING the girls HAD to have their nails painted.

Zack painted one too:

I had more paint on their skin than on their nails.. I was TIRED.
Went to bed as early as we could... I had a crappy sleep- ya know the--- did i pack this.. Do i need that? should i bring this? I hope not to lose a kid... What if....
All night.

2am came FAST.
I fell out of bed to the bathroom to get ready. I was going to be in EPCOT in a couple of hours! IN a fun Convertible!!! GIRL TIME!!!

On the road about 3 something-- i was way to tired to function, made Tom drive. the girls were so excited. Especially Peanut.

The kids in the back were all chatty! It's fun to listen to them. These kids have empathy. They were talking about another child in the class who the teacher is pretty rough they were feeling sorry for him... These are some GREAT KIDS!!!

In NO time at all we were pulling into the drop off and giving hugs of see ya tomorrow!
Tom and the boys headed home for a much needed nap. We headed in checked in dropped off my luggage and had a bit of a snag with Meg's boarding as she wasn't entirely on my reservation. Took about 10 minutes the people were very nice!!! Finally we were off to security.
This took about 45 minutes.
Only one line!
The girls kept busy chit chatting i was humored by 11 year old conversations.

No issues at all we were through and found a spot to relax before boarding.

Frontier doesn't play games.. we were boarding right at 5:35.
Because of Kristy having to book later she couldn't get Meg next to us. Thankfully she did have the seat right in front of us. Of course i let the girls sit together and i in front




Taking off was a breeze. Then BOOM. we hit clouds.. it was ROCKY not AS bad as the Maine trip.. But not something i was ready for...
As we were rocking we POPPED up through the clouds and everyone on the plane did a

This rain just follows us. I do hope the rain holds off in November. But i highly Doubt it!

So let me explain Megan. I love having her. Meg has other girlfriends of course, but when they come over to play with Peanut it seems they are way more interested in what the boys are doing.
There are a couple of her friends i do notice who come by for Peanut. One of them is Megan. She sleeps over, and is over all the time.. She is there to play with Peanut. Don't get me wrong they also play with Matt and Zack and you can tell it's all friends together. I love it. They are just comfortable around each other and have a great time.
The other friends - IF they come by i send the boys somewhere else. I'll show them huh?
Plus this Megan and her family know Kathy (the one who moved to Disney) very well so it wasn't like i was taking a child to a stranger's house! LOL

Now let's get back to our regularly scheduled program!

Let's get this trip GOING! ​

I left off with our wet trip on the Airport monorail!
Got off ran to baggage grabbed my checked bag and off to find the bus to take us to get the convertible!
I used Sixt. The girls were VERY excited to get a car! I didn't tell them what kind. The driver was the sweetest guy ever and we were in the lot in no time. I had some paper which i was supposed to scan and go. I had no idea what i was doing so the girls played outside on these toy cars they had while i went in.
Then i met the most CRABBY worker in my life. She asked for my card and i handed it to her. Mind you the car is paid off.
Asked to see a major credit card. (I have the visa bank card)
This is all i have..
We can't give a convertible without a Major credit card.
WHAT? I paid with this one.
Oh hold on.
Walks away
comes back I can't give you the convertible without the major credit card.
I already paid for the damn car!
I can give you the following BLAH BLAH
Give me the jeep Figured it would be best with the rain
they didn't even pull the car up for me she just pointed and said there it is
EFF you very much I left.
ran through the rain and got into the jeep
It sucked.
ANYWAY grabbed my phone entered in Kathy's address and off we went.

Your Absolutely right. I would have been a wreck in a convertible with the rain that was going on.
Nope. I was not happy with Sixt. won't be using them ever again. Yet the drivers to and from the airport were amazing.

Epcot Excursion ​

Once we had our park bags packed for the day we were OUT THE DOOR and off to see the Bear!



As you can see it FINALLY stopped raining. Yet the clouds are threatening....

Okay, read your last few updates through tears.

We had a house fire. The house burned pretty much to the ground. This was before Hope was born but it still affected her.

I can't even begin to imagine what being there did to Meg. I'm so glad she found Duffy and he helped.

I think it stinks that they wouldn't give you the car that you paid for. I've never heard of that company but now I've been forewarned.

Yay for the rain stopping - boo for the blue Mickey's at check in. I notice that Megan had a blue MB. Has she been to Disney recently?

Awww... I am loving these updates!!! I am still so touched that you were able to do this for Peanut - I KNOW how much Duffy means to her, and this is just something she will love you for forever!

But rain??? Rain??? Seriously???? In all fairness - I almost always have rain - torrential downpours - on our Epcot days too. But at least it was warm out... I see rain here this time of year - and it's always sooooo cold.

Our countdown is getting so TINY - it's almost here and I am just giddy beyond belief. I thought I would be soooo sad to go to Disney without my girls - and in a way I am - but I am also sooooo excited! Cannot wait to share WDW with the friends who love it as much as I do!
