There's no time to slumber we're going back in November! we came we saw and started a TR for it all!

you do know the 'luck' of the Irish is not lucky right?!?! It's all a rouse!

I did not know this; we're Scottish. Is it one of those things you say as a dig? Like you don't like someone so you wish them Irish luck? If that's the case, no Irish luck from me to you!! I take it all back!

Sounds like a yummy St. Patrick's Day; we never eat corned beef at home cause I'm the only one who likes it. Maybe once DD is eating solids she'll eat it with me.

All this food and drink talk, between you and Kathy Epcot is starting to look very delicious.

We went drinking around the WS in 2011 and there are two cocktails that I remember: the Grand Marnier Slushy in France and this Green Tea Cocktail (can't remember the name to save my life) in China. And avoid the vodka shot in Norway (although I'm sure it'll be changed once they remodel).

France usually has a special alcohol slushy drink at F&W! The year we went, I think it was a red Cosmo slush; it was delicious!

Added! How can i forget this?!?! LOL

First, love your shirt.

Thanks! had it made especially for this.

Good for you sticking up for Matt.

I will always stick up for them as long as I KNOW they are in the right. This also helps with maintaining an open and honest relationship with the little monkeys! I hate they are growing up this fast.

Some thoughts to add in red to your list below
Be sure you go to France for the slush and the beef dish...spectacular. And Scotland for the scallops with bacon and the potato pancake.

I have added ALL your recommendations! THANK YOU!! I needed this. I was looking at the F&W gift card.. Thinking i might just get one?!?!

all in all most Irish people are also scottish.. remember you guys invaded like vikings! ha ha ha ha

Yeah Irish luck is like a bad joke. I do indeed have the irish luck. :shamrock:

Oh my entire house will eat their weight in corned beef. YES get your DD to eat all kinds of FUN stuff this way when she is older you won't have the problem of a picky eater! (hopefully??!?)

Oh it is.. It SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO IS!

vodka shot in Norway?!?! I will add the green tea cocktail to my ever growing list.

Wanted to show you what I got in the mail yesterday, figured you would appreciate it. ::yes::

OMG, I neeeeeeeeeed this! Where did you get this? (You can PM deets if needed.) It's so love and I'm so jelly! :D

Thanks! i am really excited for the Agent P adventure!!! the more i am learning about it the more i can't wait for the kids to play!
This will be our first for Teppan Edo.. CAN'T WAIT!!!

I've wanted to try Agent P each year and we always forget. :lmao: Maybe this year we can get it done! I'm making a better itinerary for us, and it will include character meets and Agent P. :thumbsup2

Hope everyone had a great St. Paddy's day! We sure did! Had about 20 pounds of corned beef enough carrots cabbage and potatoes for 90 people. Left overs? Yeah wanna come by? HA HA
it was excellent yet i have the worst heart burn today.. blah!

Drama at school- nothing to report. i guess the one girl has been off so all is quiet.
BUT! always a but isn't there???
As we are walking in the house Meg pipes up to say Matt has another detention. My eyes turn red Claws come out WHAT? NOW WHAT HOMEWORK HAVE YOU MISSED? No. something else..
I guess Matt drew some pictures at school. (no surprise there) well someone had written some profanity on two of his pictures. It's CLEARLY not his hand writing, it's not something he would say, He is NOT that stupid to write something like that in school.
No- i do not believe my kids are perfect. as a matter of fact yes my boys have slipped up and swore- on the field for some sports thing. Meg won't use profanity never did.
IF i had any doubts about Matt writing this i would make him do the detention. Honestly it's not his writing, Matt would tell me the truth. He has done some not so brilliant things in the past and HAS owned up to them. this is not one of them.
SO i wrote a note to school stating sorry he will NOT be serving this detention. Check with the CCD kids. They have done some terrible things, including stealing things out of the kids desks.

Fun huh?

wanna get back on track of Epcot...

Wow mama! If it's not one thing, it's another, right? :sad2: I hope they find the guilty child and have him/them/her serve the detention.

I will update this as you all give your opinions!
My list is getting LONGER!!! YAY!

If you can wait until October, I can give you our opinions. :lmao:

Last year, my picky eater ate New Zealand (Venison Sausage with Pickled Mushrooms, Baby Arugula and Black Currant Reduction -- Gluten Free); Australia (Garlic Shrimp with Roasted Tomatoes, Lemon Myrtle and Rapini -- GF). He loved BOTH of them. (He also got an ice cream sundae. :sad2:)

I enjoyed Mexico (Sweet Corn Cheese Cake) and Greece (Griddled Greek Cheese with Pistachios and Honey -- GF; and Chicken Gyro with Tzatziki Sauce). Yum! I hope to get these again in October!

Some other things I remember DH and DD enjoying are: China (Beijing Roasted Duck in a Steamed Bun with Hoisin Sauce); Japan (Chrashizushi -- Salmon, Shrimp, Crab and Egg served over Seaweed Salad and Ginger Rice); Belgium (Belgian Waffle with Berry Compote and Whipped Cream); Ireland (Lobster and Seafood Fisherman's Pie).

Everything we ate we enjoyed! :cloud9: I'm excited to see what's on the menu this year!

You guys are making my mouth water with all the talk about the delicious food at the Food and Wine Festival. It sounds like I will have to put that on my bucket list of things to do - Go to WDW for the Food and Wine Festival!

The Mexican dishes sound especially tasty!

OK, here's my two cents even though I'm a picky eater. (make sure you expand the quote as I added comments in it)

OK lets get back to the Food and Wine.. I would like to keep this post updated on all your recommendations..

Here is MY must do's:

Food:

Canada

soup
rainbow trout - katmark

Loved both the soup and the Mushroom Fillet. The soup unfortunately didn't love me back thanks to the cheddar in it and I won't be getting it again. I will say that it is a chunky cheese soup which was a little off putting for me with my texture issues. I was able to pick around the veggie chunks though. I've never had the Rainbow Trout since it has bacon on it.

Ireland:
Everything!!!

Fisherman's Pie was hit or miss. Jim and I loved the dish in 2013. I couldn't wait to have it again with Mom when we went 2014 but it was no where near as good. The 2013 version had huge chunks of seafood in it. In 2014, Mom found one tiny piece of shrimp in hers and mine had none.

Japan
Sushi

Poland
Pierogie (sp)
Kielbasa- Katmark

France:
Beef Dish - Katmark

I can't agree enough on the Beef Short Ribs! Favorite dish of the whole festival for me. I had it twice in 2013 and twice in 2014.

Scotland:
scallops - Katmark
Potato Pancake - Katmark

Drinks:

Germany

Beer of course
Grapefruit beer - Katmark

Ireland-
all of it again...

France:
Cosmo Slushie! - Li Li

Yep, don't miss this drink. I don't know if it will be the Cosmo one again, that was definitely my favorite. 2014 was a Passion Fruit version which wasn't quite as good as the Cosmo but still yummy.

China:
Green Tea Cocktail - MissMaryQC

I will update this as you all give your opinions!
My list is getting LONGER!!! YAY!

Others I would recommend:

Mahi Mahi at the Singapore booth - this was yummy in a slightly sweet sauce with rice.

Black Pepper Shrimp at the China booth - I didn't have this dish but Mom did and loved it.

Cheese Ravioli at the Italy booth - easily my second favorite dish after the short ribs in France. Not sure why these were so good but I probably could have eaten several plates of them.

Beef Empanada from the Patagonia booth - not me again but Jim liked this one so much he had four over the course of the week we were there in 2013.

Ones we did NOT like:

Australia booth, Lamb Chop. It was mostly fat, I think I got about 2 small bites of meat.

New Zealand booth, Lamb Meatball. Weird texture and way too spicy for me. Jim and I both thought it was gross.

Italy Booth, Chicken Tenderloin. This wasn't horrible, just nothing special about it. It was really just a grilled piece of chicken.

Others I would recommend:

Mahi Mahi at the Singapore booth - this was yummy in a slightly sweet sauce with rice. I want to try this next time

Black Pepper Shrimp at the China booth - I didn't have this dish but Mom did and loved it. This doesn't sound half bad

Cheese Ravioli at the Italy booth - easily my second favorite dish after the short ribs in France. Not sure why these were so good but I probably could have eaten several plates of them. Don't know how we missed that one

Beef Empanada from the Patagonia booth - not me again but Jim liked this one so much he had four over the course of the week we were there in 2013. Mark and I both hated this.

We didn't try any of the rest of these. I have to say our mushroom filet in Canada was awful (much like our last meal there).

Mo, you MUST have the Belgian Waffles...they had three different kinds last year.

I'm guessing the Mushroom Filet is hit or miss. I've had a wonderful meal at Le Cellier and an awful one but both times I had the Filet at F & W it was good. And as for the Empanada, well that was Jim, the same person who hates Wolfgang Puck pizza because he said it's too "real". :rotfl:So take that one with a grain of salt.

OMG, I neeeeeeeeeed this! Where did you get this? (You can PM deets if needed.) It's so love and I'm so jelly! :D

I'm with you.. That shirt is flipping awesome!!!!

I've wanted to try Agent P each year and we always forget. :lmao: Maybe this year we can get it done! I'm making a better itinerary for us, and it will include character meets and Agent P. :thumbsup2

I am reading a report where her daughters are doing it. It's SO CUTE! and a better way to see all of Epcot! the surprises around there are fantastic!!! shocking what little treasurers are hiding!!! No way am i going to miss it this time around.

Wow mama! If it's not one thing, it's another, right? :sad2: I hope they find the guilty child and have him/them/her serve the detention.

I never got a call back from the school. :sad2: When Matt came out he said "teacher said i can leave" Oh really? and what did she say about the note i sent back? Oh that is was probably CCD kids she had the same problems last year.... Wait a minute. she jumped at possibility of you yet this has happened before? Let's not listen to MY SON who is telling the truth but give him a detention? Screw that.

If you can wait until October, I can give you our opinions. :lmao:

I CAN!!! im not going until Nov! so i want all your details!!!

:sad2:)

i dunno know about the pickled mushrooms?!?! But the garlic shrimp is on the list!

I enjoyed Mexico (Sweet Corn Cheese Cake) and Greece (Griddled Greek Cheese with Pistachios and Honey -- GF; and Chicken Gyro with Tzatziki Sauce). Yum! I hope to get these again in October!

Mexico i can get here.. same with Greece. IF we stop then yes we will get it! But honestly we have the best Mexican and greek food ever!!!! same with Italian.

I'm allergic to egg but maybe the others will enjoy? Ohhhh Belgium! On the list. Ireland? yeah i will be getting ALL OF THAT.

Everything we ate we enjoyed! :cloud9: I'm excited to see what's on the menu this year!

Yeah me too! Make sure you take some stellar notes!!

YES!!! ::yes:: it does all sounds great doesn't it? it's going to be one heck of a tums day! ha ha ha ha ha

The next bucket list for me is the flower and garden!

OK, here's my two cents even though I'm a picky eater. (make sure you expand the quote as I added comments in it)

I have to go back and make notes as it didn't quote the text!

Others I would recommend:

:Pinkbounc

Mahi Mahi at the Singapore booth - this was yummy in a slightly sweet sauce with rice.

On it I love Mahi Mahi!!!

Black Pepper Shrimp at the China booth - I didn't have this dish but Mom did and loved it.

crap another one to add to the list.

Cheese Ravioli at the Italy booth - easily my second favorite dish after the short ribs in France. Not sure why these were so good but I probably could have eaten several plates of them.

Not making the top list is Italy, Mexico or greece. we have all that here. want to try new fun stuff! IF we have time or room in our bellies we can try these?!?
France is def on the list since you raved about them as much as you did!

Beef Empanada from the Patagonia booth - not me again but Jim liked this one so much he had four over the course of the week we were there in 2013.

this will be--- "Hey there is that empanada booth Ariana said it was good if you want to stop."
:lmao:

New Zealand booth, Lamb Meatball. Weird texture and way too spicy for me. Jim and I both thought it was gross.

Italy Booth, Chicken Tenderloin. This wasn't horrible, just nothing special about it. It was really just a grilled piece of chicken.

THIS is important stuff too.. I should probably make this another part of the list!

We didn't try any of the rest of these. I have to say our mushroom filet in Canada was awful (much like our last meal there).

i'll let tom try this... :lmao: There is much more to try! my list is getting HUGE

Mo, you MUST have the Belgian Waffles...they had three different kinds last year.

Oh boy... this is going to be one heck of tums trip.

I'm guessing the Mushroom Filet is hit or miss. I've had a wonderful meal at Le Cellier and an awful one but both times I had the Filet at F & W it was good. :lmao:

Thanks everyone! I need to go back and start updating that wish list!!!! :disrocks:

Honestly... all this food and all the different flavors.. I am going to need a boat load of Rolaids.
let's not forget the shawarma! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

oh boy oh boy.. i am going to be walking around like a marshmallow man after this night!

I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Agent P is so fun! Bradey did just Mexico the year before last, but it was too hot last year for it. I love it because it keeps him busy so I can really explore the countries. Just a tip.....when you start the "Adventure", ask the CMs which country to start from....which one is more busy. They will know if a whole bunch just headed to Mexico. It isn't any fun if the kids see the people in front of them doing it. It is better if they can explore on their own.

Sounds so fun! I love that they have extra countries to sample from that aren't normally a part of world showcase.

This is exactly what i was thinking. we can take more time in the worlds!!! plus have a little bit of magic moments along the way!! Annegirl's pictures and report has me all jazzed up to do it.. I don't know if the kids will have a chance i might take the thing always from them and run off by myself!
Great tip! Thanks for that!!!

Sounds so fun! I love that they have extra countries to sample from that aren't normally a part of world showcase.

Eeep... Love your MK day!!! It's gonna be hard to wait 3 days... Dontcha think? I am not sure I could do it... Wait - I might be doing it? LOL

I just love that photo of the midgets looking at the castle from the trian station - I think it's a good photo for a now n' then? Not sure, you are the expert. ::yes::

Lov the Olaf picture in front of the castle. :thumbsup2

And a level 2 crowd... Life is good, very very good. ::yes::

Have a great weekend this weekend.

D~

I love the low crowds too. I guess we have never been there for REALLY crowded but on the days when it has been 5-6 I can hardly stand it so I could NEVER go on holidays or summer.
Plans sound great.

Love your plans so far! I can't believe you can wait 3 days to get to MK. We always have to make that our first park day.

You HAVE to meet Talking Mickey! Leave your kids in the dust if they don't want to. You need to do it! My girls mention talking Mickey at least once a week. Usually more.

I'm so glad you are going to Prime Time. You are the perfect family for it. We've never actually been there, but from what I've read, it's very much like Ed Debevic's, and I LIVED that for 7 years. I would have loved waiting on you guys.

Do the Agent P missions! You won't regret it. Jason has a hard time letting the girls control the phone, too. I have to remind him he is the adult! :)

Love your Field Museum pics. We need to get there and see Sue. We can get in for free with our Milwaukee Museum pass. And the forgetting your battery thing? Remember when my family went to MSI in November to see the Disney exhibit? Remember who forgot the camera battery? ME! Stupid Me! For the DIsney exhibit! I seriously wanted to punch myself in the face.

And I'm sorry for Meg and all her drama. I hate that it starts so early with girls. :( Lucy is 8 1/2 and she's managed to avoid it, but some of her friends have gotten caught up in it.
