It's the one place I could go other than english speaking countries and know I could get by speaking a little of the language.

::yes:: And if you are anything like me, which I think you are, your Spanish gets better the more alcohol you consume. ;)

All the above sound awesome but especially Spain. I have read that they have the most gorgeous beaches. :cloud9:
Unfortunately most have now been taken over by drunk Brit's :sad2: You have to search high and low now to find the nice beaches hence why we haven't been for about 7 years :rotfl2:

Hope you're having a fantastic Thanksgiving :goodvibes

[:rotfl2: You visit Utah and that's not Disney. ;)
:rotfl2:
that doesn't count as a vacation.....staying at families and dealing with all the drama, regardless of how much I love them, isn't a vacation.

I am shopped out! Didn't do the whole rope drop Black Friday nightmare but did manage to get going about 10 am. I made poor Michael go with me to:

  • Kohl's
  • 2 malls
  • Game Stop
  • some backyard store

I had to return something to Walmart and he was like, you really want to do that...today? :rotfl2: I am two gifts from being DONE!!!!! :woohoo:

Hey Jenn.

Hope you and your family had a nice Thanksgiving :goodvibes

Yay for almost being done Christmas shopping :woohoo:

I am all caught up now. I hate it when life gets in the way of my Dis time. I am just finishing up working nights for my new job and I am looking forward to spending time with the living again. I am really having a hard time right now deciding when to go to WDW. I really don't want to wait until next Nov. I am thinking May sounds good. Isn't that when you went? How were the crowds and the heat?

Well that is good to hear. Did you go at the begining of May? I can't remember. The job is good. I am glad I am done training though. Those hours were horrible, 7:30pm-4:30am. My regular hours are much better.

Our first park day was Mother's Day. That's the night 'Ohana caught on fire in their pit and DH started poking around for DVC info. I could kiss whoever started that fire!!!! Had we been sat as planned, he never would have had that 30 minutes to kill. :worship:

Those hours are horrible. :scared1: Especially if you can't come home and sleep which I am assuming you couldn't. Glad the new hours are better!!!!!

They were horrible. You are right it wouldn't have been so bad if I had been able to sleep but my dd's babysitter hadn't gotten sick. I was stuck dozing on the couch all day when I could. My new hours are 6:30pm -1am. I really like them because it isn't so busy as during the day and I get to read between calls. I love to read so it is the best of both worlds. I get out of the house and I get to catch up on my reading. :cool1:

I love my new hours!!!!

:cool1::cool1::cool1: YAY one year left!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I am going to leave it where it is unless we win the lottery or something. We really want to stay at Wilderness Lodge. It is the perfect resort for Christmas time. If we were going any other time of the year we would stay at Animal Kingdom. I really want to stay deluxe.

 My feeling is that once you go Deluxe it will be hard to go back- especially with kids. We did a split stay going from OKW to AKV to POR and while I liked the POR better this time (cleaner, better view) I sure missed having a full kitchen, laundry, and room to spread out. ;)

I will go read Jo! :goodvibes

I know but my dh thinks this is a once in a lifetime trip.:lmao: He has no idea what to expect. Lexi is already asking when are we going to the castle where Mickey lives. I think she is going to love it and ask to go back. She is a daddy's girl. He doesn't really like the look of the values so unless we really want to go and save $$$ on a trip I don't think we would stay in anything less than a mod anyway.

:rotfl: Must be something in the male DNA; mine thought WDW would be a one time thing too. :lmao: Your daughter is going to flip out- she will love it so much. The kids and I are watching a show on FLN on WDW and they keep begging to go back. :cutie: And what a cute girl- where Mickey lives!!!! :goodvibes
