Nope. And if you can believe, I actually chose not to. I chose the beach. I miss the beach SO much I can hardly stand it. I posted some pics on FB but will post a mini report here.

You're right, I can't believe it! But I'm sure the beach was great.

I landed at 11 pm so it was chilly. Today was 63* and So Cal was about 73* so not too much of a difference......................until tomorrow that is when it's set to drop 15*.

You're right, I can't believe it! But I'm sure the beach was great.

legends!!!!!! my friends lived in the shore before they had kids. My friend Steve and I used to do the 2nd street shuffle. I love the Legends Mary! We always had breakfast at the Shoreline Cafe or is it Shorehouse Cafe? There used to be a Charthouse down in the marina we used to eat at. We also used to go to El Paso Cantina at Marina Pacifica back in the day....oh the memories

Shorehouse! I spent many an early morning hour there eating total junk trying to soak up the booze. I worked at Legends for a few years during my undergrad. LOVED it. Did you ever Shoot the Root at the Bayshore on 2nd St?

I called MS this morning and scored a 2 bedroom lock-off at the GCV for 5 nights in June. The CM asked if we wanted a theme park view or pool view. I requested a theme park view but would be stoked with either!!! I love it when a plan comes together!

Nice! So I take it the park view or pool view is a "request" and you won't know what you get until check-in?

Either way, it's all good. I would prefer a DCA view all lit up at night.

I can't remember where we used to go. I know one place was upstairs and then there was a dive where we used to do boilermakers. I don't ever recalling shooting the root...
