Disneyland October 2009.................thought I would do a mini trippie with pictures. I know this is the WDW but I know you all can hang. This will be picture heavy and word light just like I like 'em.

We arrive at the Hilton Garden Inn. I am not sharing the rust stained bathroom or paper thin towels because I want to keep this positive. let's just say I would never stay there again.

On ART going to Disneyland after a quick check in and freshen up:

Now for all of you that have never been to Disneyland, Haunted Mansion Holiday is worth the trip alone. Seriously. It's amazing!!!

Aren't the decorations amazing? The park looked fantastic! The kids wanting to do Mickey's Trick or Treat Party, Michael loving the weather/crowds/decor, and my powers of persuasion are what ultimately led to APs. Owning DVC and staying off property didn't hurt any either.

I have to say, the Halloween Ears rival even the Christmas Ears.

Disneyland's IASW is so much better. Truly. I know lots of people hate it and if all knew was WDW's, I am not sure I would love it like I do.

I forgot how much I loved it. I have been so hyper focused on WDW and haven't been to Disneyland in 4 years but it was like going home. Adding on some GCV points is so in my future, I hope. I am hoping when we stay in June that DH will go for a 100 point add on.


The funny thing is that even though they are both Disney, they are totally different to me. Disneyland is much more intimate but the food is no where as good. WDW is more of a vacation destination. We can thoroughly enjoy Disneyland in 5 days and it takes 10 in WDW.

LOVE LOVE LOVE The pics and now that you have AP's we'll have to plot a trip that coincides! The kids all look so grown up who gave them permission to do that. Joshie is too cute for words and Gabby is becoming a TEEN ....stock up on the good stuff mom

June 13-18 will be our next trip for sure. I would love one sooner but I also like to eat. They are getting so big. It goes by too quickly. Did you notice M's Jack Skellington shirt? Whoda ever though Disney clothing? I can't wait to see your photos and Missy all dressed up like Minnie!!!!
