No more food court breakfasts for us.

This is probably the only reason I'm dreading staying at the Pop. Maybe we'll just have to avoid the food court all together...

The food court at Pop is super busy in the morning , but the rest of the day is fine and the food is very good !!We wuld some times get breakfast a little later and then the crowd had died down !!

When we emerged and settled on a bench to sunscreen it up, I got the text message for which I’d been eagerly waiting… TheDISFamily girls were there! Michelle and her girls, Jordan and Brenna. Jordan’s been working the College Program at EP, but had the day off and we were all going to take the Food & Wine Fest by storm!

When we walked over to the meeting spot, I found another familiar face; Kat and her husband KC were there too! Yep, another DIS reunion folks.

Awesome! I'm so glad you got to hang with them!

Again, why the crappy buns Mickey?!?!

We've not ever had a hot dog in WDW, but from the burger buns, I agree.

FYI we try to go to the food court for late breakfasts if anything, just for the reason of avoiding the insanity!

Thanks! My face is too sensitive to high SPF's so the hat helps a LOT. Plus, with dark hair, a light-colored hat keeps my head from baking, lol!

You know, I never took notice to the buns! I should stop there this trip just to check them out!!

Ugh, I don't recommend it. But rest assured - you can get the crappy buns at every single CS location.

V I have complained about those same BUNS in myTR !! You are right they FALL apart !!!

It's ridiculous, no? WHY can't the serve buns that stay together?!

Oh my gosh - that same thing happened to us (the milk freezing in the mini fridge). I thought it was weird, usually its the opposite problem, they don't keep things cold enough. This year we stayed at Pop, so no fridge. Just kept our milk on ice in the ice bucket and it actually stayed very cold. The key to the food courts is to get there before 8, then its not too bad.

I used this just the other day at WalMart when I need to by DVD-Rs. I didn't know the difference between DVD-R and DVD+R. So I Googled it right there in the store! LOVE IT!!

How great is that? Can you tell me what store she works in? I'd love to look for her when we head down there in a few weeks!

I’ve lived in FL for nearly 20 years, and I’ve never seen it this hot in late Oct./ early Nov. If there’s any way to stitch the ozone layer back up, I’m all for it.

I don’t normally frequent the food courts at all, let alone at that time of day. It was madness, I tell you! A 45 minute wait to get Mickey waffles. Lines 20-deep to pay. Mad dashes for any open tables. NOT a pleasant way to get started. No more food court breakfasts for us.

Yikes! That better be one fantabulous waffle! Hoping for improvements to the day….

When all was said and done, we packed up the car and arrived at EP an hour before our designated DIS meeting time. Which worked out well – we spent some quality time in The Seas, something we haven’t done in a long time.

Yay! Gotta love quality time!

Okay, let me say this: it was freakishly HOT. All cloud cover had vanished and the sun was positively sizzling. I’ve lived in FL for nearly 20 years, and I’ve never seen it this hot in late Oct./ early Nov. If there’s any way to stitch the ozone layer back up, I’m all for it.

Why the crappy buns Mickey?!?! I’ve ranted on this before, and I won’t stop until they fix it. The new buns suck, plain and simple. They’re not wheat, they’re not white. They’re wheat-ish, but clearly have no more nutritional value than Wonder Bread. And… it’s a HOT DOG! Why even bother trying to make it “healthy” – there’s nothing remotely healthy about cased meat parts. But the worst part of the crappy buns is the fact that they fall apart faster than Courtney Love’s stage outfits. Leo took no more than one bite before the whole ding-danged bun was in pieces. Again, why the crappy buns Mickey?!?!

We actually managed to avoid the buns this trip. For which I am eternally grateful. I must also confess that I’ve saying wheat-ish for 10 min now and giggling quietly to myself.

In all, it was a terrific weekend, and I can’t recommend MNSSHP enough. It was so nice to catch up with friends – thanks for meeting us Kat and Michelle!

I'm back from a great trip. My favorite part was watching wishes for the first time with my 3 year old DD in the most amazing spot ever. Simply put... it was magical.

Oh - and I 2nd that about the buns. Every hamburger or hotdog Abby got, the bun was in crumbles.
