Hello there! Welcome to my 2nd dinning report. This was for my 9th trip to Disney, and my 5th trip with DH. We absolutely love Disney food, and look forward to eating way too much on our trips. This time we went during not our normal Christmas season, but April! We got to enjoy some of the new Flower and Garden foods as well!

So here we are!

I'm your typical Disney obsessed Dis'er. I plan all our ADRs with a nicely color coded spreadsheet during all the months leading up to our trips....yes I said color coded. :thumbsup2 DH is Disney obsessed, but doesn't plan or research anything. He leaves all that up to me, and the moment our feet hit the ground in Florida, he changes all my plans. :lmao:

This trip we were on Deluxe Dinning again. We love Deluxe. It's way too much food, but we get to try so many things! We only did it this time because they offered a free dinning option that we weren't planning on, so we just upgraded off of that. We tried many new places, many places we were iffy about and had heard mixed reviews, and then several of our favorites! I hope you enjoy! :)

Here is where we ate on this trip!

Tony's
Monsieur Paul's
Artist Point
Rose and Crown
50's Prime Time Cafe
Via Napoli
Sanaa
Flying Fish
Le Cellier
La Hacienda
Sci-Fi
Narcoossee's
Ohana'
Raglan Road

Thanks so much for joining in everyone! I'm so excited about this report because we ate at so many awesomely good places. This was probably the best dining experience we've had at Disney. I was going to try to go in order, but I can't seem to find my LTT pics, so I'll go ahead and get my post about Tony's started! :)

So we decided to try Tony's in the MK this trip. We were really nervous about it because, well you know, it gets a bad rap sometimes. But it was the OOONLY table service restaurant left in the MK that we hadn't eaten at! So we absolutely had to. But since we were so nervous, we decided to just do lunch here.

I personally was very excited. Lady and the Tramp is one of my favorite Disney movies because it's one of the first ones I remember watching from my childhood. I'm also trying to talk my husband into getting a cocker spaniel and letting me name her Lady...that's bnot going over well though. :confused3

We got to eat in what I called the outside room. The white one with big windows. I wanted to eat by the fountain, but it was nice in here. It was cool even though they had the door to the outside open near us. We were near a waiter station however, and that was a bit distracting, especially when they dropped a pop and it splattered on my leg! But accidents happen.

Seasonal Melon with Prosciutto 6.99

Chuck decided to try this. Neither of us have ever had melon and prosciutto but I've read it's an Italian classic, so who could go wrong with a classic!? Plus he loves cantaloupe. Those of you that read my last trip report may remember that my DH, cannot even stand the sight of onions. After I took this picture I quickly removed them from his plate so that he was happy. :) Oh, and this dish was as yummy as we thought it would be!

Tomato and Mozzarella Salad
Tomatoes, fresh Mozzarella, Basil, and a Balsamic Dressing 7.49

Another classic. Very delicious! Later in the week I tried this at another restaurant and this was the better of the two. The tomatoes were perfect. So good!

Cannelloni filled with a mixture of Ground Beef and Sausage, Mozzarella, and Ricotta served with Marinara and Alfredo Cream Sauce 16.99

After pondering over the menu for a bit DH opted for the Cannelloni. It was very meaty and he liked the mix of sausage in with the beef. He really enjoyed it and ate it all up.

Chicken Parmigiana
Lightly Breaded Chicken Breast with Marinara sauce topped with Melted Mozzarella over Spaghetti 19.99

I went for another classic. I wasn't sure what to get so I just got something that I knew! And it was very tasty! Far too much for me to eat it all, but very yummy. I'd definitely get it again.

Tiramisu
Espresso-soaked Lady Fingers, Whipped Mascarpone, and Dark Chocolate Shavings 6.49

With all the classics we were getting, who could go wrong with some Tiramisu! Chuck and I happen to both love Tiramasu, so we both got it. It was a bit different presentation than I expected, as they came out in these cute little cups. It was very creamy and tasty. There was a wee bit much chocolate shaved on top, but it was still tasty.

So did we like Tony's? Would we go back? Heck yes! We really enjoyed it. The food was great, the service was amazing, and we loved the decor and atmosphere. I've already got an ADR for our next trip! :thumbsup2

So my DH hates onions and won't eat anything with onions in it. Did the Cannelloni have onions in the sauce or the meat mixture? Also, he has a thing about chunks of tomatoes in the marinara; were there chunks of tomato in the marinara? We have a ressie here next week and I'm trying to find alternatives for him other than steak! :)

There were really small onions in the sauce. Chuck didn't notice them really until he looked for them, and there weren't a lot. There were definitely chunks of tomatoes in the marinara though, I remember thinking it was a heartier sauce.

Yum! We are trying Tony's next trip as our last night in the MK meal. It's good to hear positive reviews, especially of the chicken parm and cannelloni, the two dishes I'm considering! Great review!
