Not sure which board to post this on...

On the Carousel of Progress, after the very last scene (The Christmas Scene), as the theatre rotates, there is a version of the song playing that's performed by a male and female. It's a beautiful version...and I've looked everywhere trying to find it. Anybody know who its by? Or where I could get it?

Wow, youre a true fan if you want to have that song to listen to. And just by reading "There's a great big beautiful tomorow" i can think of the whole song.

Good Luck

It's performed by studio "contract singers" (yes, they have names, but they are usually not identified.)

Most tracks of the current attraction are not generally available.
There have been (limited) CD releases of earlier versions of the attraction's audio.

Robo, I knew you'd respond! Haha

Do you know where I can get my hands on this track?

As I said, I don't think that it's been released.

You can hear the selection you're mentioning on THIS YouTube video (not mine)
at approx. 20:14 deep.

Yes, that's it!

Too bad no version exists. Maybe I should write a letter. :-P

Couldn't hurt.

I've looked through the many Disney tracks that I have come by over the years, and the current CoP is not among them.

I have seen Disney release entire attraction audio "ride-through" audio tracks of various attractions (Pirates and Haunted Mansion, for example) and I have the complete audio from some previous versions of CoP, but I have not found the current version of CoP's "source audio" tracks.

Keep looking.
It MIGHT be out there somewhere right now,
or appear at some time in the future.

Hmm...if I knew who to write to, I would. Any ideas?

DUUDE! I have been searching for an audio clip of the man and woman for about 9 years now and still, no such luck! The best thing you can do really, is try to rip the audio from the Youtube.

I've also been searching for the song in the American Adventure that is sung when the pilgrims are coming to America. No such luck with that one either!

On this 3 disc CD there is the song. "Music of Disney--Legacy in Song You can go to Amazon and find it there. Good Luck

Sorry.

That's the version that has been released for many years.
It's the original version from the 1964 NY World's Fair (and subsequently moved to Disneyland.)

That 1960's version, BTW, is, by far, my favorite.

I can't really help you with the real one, but:

If you haven't heard this one, "They Might be Giants" did a really fun cover of it for the Meet the Robinsons Soundtrack you may like ^_^

Does anyone have any info on the electronic instrumental version that they have in Tomorrowland in the public areas?

I think it sounds really cool.

I like that one, too!

Wish I could find a copy.

Don't think it is the version you're talking about, but on a cd of park music that I have, the song is played with really cool instrument effects. :goodvibes

I was going to say this too! We LOVE the TMBG version! My three year old sings along - sooo cute!

Alot of people think this ride is so corny and outdated, but I just love it. It brings back childhood memories, and gives me that warm fuzzy feeling. Thanks for the video Robo.

We ended our last trip with a ride on the CoP - and we all sang along....and then had to drive 18 hours with the song stuck in our heads! LOVED it!

Can't wait to do it again! In one month from today! :cool1:
