I kept seeing some mythical camping sub-forum being mentioned on a Budget Board thread, and wondered what in the heck they were talking about. Ten years here, and I had NO idea there was a camping community sub-forum!!! I mean, I have never had, nor probably ever will have any reason to click on the "Camping at WDW" forum header, so I would have never know this was here if it hadn't been mentioned in passing and I hadn't gone actively searching for it. I wish all the sub-forums were listed on the main page!! I wonder what else I'm missing?? 
DS and I love to go camping (car camping.) I've been a Girl Scout all my life, grew up in a family that camped often, I just love it. As long as I have flush toilets and running water nearby! Our favorite place to camp is the Double Lake Recreation Area in the Sam Houston National Forest here in Texas. Very heavily wooded, very un-crowded, and super nice sites. You feel like you're the only people at the campground.
We only get to go maybe twice a year, because there are precious few weeks where it isn't too hot for me to stand being outside.
And when my son started high school last year and marching band, pretty much every single weekend is taken up by a football game! But it's all good. 
So happy I finally discovered this board, can't wait to talk camping with y'all!

But one of these trips I want to at least get over there and just wander around a bit! Epcot just always seem to win out in the battle for our time, lol.
