There is actually a Sun in Florida!

I thought it probably got blown away from Frances, but low and behold, there is a yellow orb in the sky today!

Another thing...everytime a slight wind gust comes up, I get startled. Darn wind.

Another thing about Florida

If anyone tries to tell you it isn't made of sand, ponder this:

One county official, when reporting on TV that the sand bag 'stations' had run out of sand for sandbags, told the citizens to go in their back yard, dig a hole and fill a trash bag. He reiterated that Florida is made of sand anyway!

I have a bucket full of sand spread along the bottom of my pool and I am no where near a coast, lake side beach or anything of the sort. Go figure. At least the screening is intact! Hey....maybe I can have a sand bottom pool like Disney? How do you 'vacuum' that anyway?
