and yes I have traveled with one of them We took my husband's family to Disneyland this last year, and my BIL was bored to death. I thought he might be into it since he has two little kids, and he put on a half smile for the kids, but it was like we were torturing him. We even watched the kids so that they could do the great "adult" experiences like Soarin', but he thought it was boring...

Like they have said on the podcast- either you have the gene or you don't!

Good luck to the man who is bringing his friend who doesn't like rides- I hope it goes better for you! Make sure you take him to the best places to eat- and show him around the deluxe hotels- some of those things won over my husband on his first visit to WDW.

my family is like that...and every year, someone comes down to join us for a few days at WDW.....we pull out all the stops in an attempt to make them 'see the light'....we've made a little bit of headway over the years....but it's slow going as they definitely do not have the gene...
