FYI--especially for those with allergies--there is still a significant brush fire burning south and west of WDW, along I-4. And while we were there last week, the news was reporting that someone had set a total of 21 brush fires in the course of a day.
The fires do not pose a direct threat to WDW, or the resorts and hotels in the area. HOWEVER, several mornings the wind was from the SW and the smoke was very strong in the area and the parks early in the day. It always blew off by late morning or noon time, but could be a factor if you are particularly sensitive.
