There’s So Much Room to Do Activities! April 2026 TR! (Updated 8/8!!)

Yes with daughter. She was going on the trip I gridgingly had to cancel. As I was being wheeled into the hospital surgery room, I announced to everyone "I was supposed to be on a mother-daughter trip to Disney, which I far preferred".

That's great she's able to make the make-up trips with you! And haha, I'd probably say the same thing!

I'm following along an enjoying your TR! I especially loved the pictures taken from your balcony. What a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the view.

Day 3, Part 1: Room Number Three!​

Once again, I had to get up annoyingly early this morning to book ADRs for our June trip. One of these trips we will stay in just a single hotel! Just not anytime soon, literally every trip we have coming up this year is yet more triple split stays.

It was once again a gorgeous morning!



I started booking things right at 6, and I was amazed at how smoothly everything went. We got everything we wanted at the time we wanted, yay!!!! Well, except for the cabana since it was too early for that. So right at 7 we headed to the concierge desk to see if they could possibly book the cabana for us, even though it was for a different hotel, and I’m happy to say they could and got us a cabana! Everything worked out so perfectly, I’m impressed.

After getting the cabana booked, we headed to the lounge to get breakfast.



This morning they had quiche Lorraine, pork sausages, impossible “meat” breakfast hash, and a bunch of other stuff like oatmeal and pastries. It was good but nothing to write home about.

After breakfast we headed back to the room to pack up and get ready to move once again. At least this time we were staying in the same hotel, just moving rooms. While packing we joked about how it would be funny if our next room was already available, but we fully expected it not to be since it was only like 7:30AM at that point.

Once we got everything packed, we dragged our bags over to the concierge desk to check out and check right back in.

In an amazing turn of events….our next room was already available!!!! What?!?!? We were shocked, but also soooooo happy!

So after getting our magic bands re-activated, we made our way to the next room.

















We had booked this room specifically for my dad, we wanted the extra space so he could have a room to rest in and read and mom and I wouldn’t annoy him. Plus, we wanted to have more than one bathroom to make mornings, and really all day, easier.

It was definitely odd having so much space for just the two of us, but I can’t lie, I absolutely loved it. I wish I could stay in this room every trip!

We took some pictures and videos of the room, but didn’t stay for too long since we wanted to get over to Epcot early. We didn’t have any hard plans this early, but we wanted to take a stroll around WS and get pictures of all the flowers and topiaries without the crowds.

You'll have to arrange all your future trips so that you can be staying club level when your ADR day opens up. Getting the cabana is a big plus.

I've had that happen before too! Was moving from Pop Century to Yacht Club and got a text at 7:30am that my room was ready. I packed up in a hurry, ubered to YC and hit SAB as soon as it opened. It was actually the end of a triple split also. Started at the Dolphin, moved to Pop for 1 night and then ended at YC. The YC portion was one of my most favorite stays ever! Water view room with a perfect view of Epcot fireworks.
So many people say the view doesn't matter, but sometimes it makes a stay absolutely magical!

Isn't it amazing when that happens? We were so shocked, but super grateful! And yes, I 100% agree the view can make a big difference. We've gotten a few rooms at the YC with a fireworks view and completely changed our plans to be in the room for them!

Alright, I'm starting to panic just a bit. So for the last week or so my flight has been cancelled almost every morning. No idea what's going on or why it's cancelled. I try to book the first flight out of the day to hopefully avoid weather delays and cancellations, but this doesn't look like a weather issue since it's happening almost every day. And knowing my luck with flying, there's a solid chance my flight will be cancelled too.

Then to make it more stressful, the flights after mine are almost fully booked, so I imagine if my flight is cancelled I'm not getting down to FL this week unless it's on a different airline, which of course the prices are CRAZY right now. Uggggghhhhh, I'm so torn, I used to love Delta, but I have had the absolute worst experiences with them in the past few years! I'm tempted to fly down a day early on the afternoon flight since that one oddly hasn't been cancelled at all, but knowing my luck that day that flight will be cancelled. So I guess please keep your fingers and toes crossed that my flight is the odd one out and isn't cancelled this week!

Fingers crossed for you! We do a 9.5 hour drive (multiple times per year) in order to avoid airplane issues. Which is not a perfect solution either - it's a long haul to get there!

Thank you! I briefly considered driving, but that's just too long for me to do solo. Really really hoping whatever the issues are have been resolved in the next day or two!

Thank you! I often have issues at DCA, but usually just lots of delays, not often are my flights cancelled. Fingers crossed that this flight isn't cancelled!

Yikes on the flight! I fly Delta to MCO out of DCA also. I haven't experienced any cancelled flights. Hoping they get it straightened out! American out of DCA is my other go to-but prices are crazy now for summer flights. Good luck!

Yikes on the flight! I fly Delta to MCO out of DCA also. I haven't experienced any cancelled flights. Hoping they get it straightened out! American out of DCA is my other go to-but prices are crazy now for summer flights. Good luck!

Yeah, I called my friend last night whose husband is a Delta pilot to see if he had any insight to why this flight keeps getting cancelled. Apparently they started having some issue with their scheduling system so planes and crew weren't where they needed to be when they needed to be, so it's not just this flight, this just seems to be the flight between DCA and MCO that's getting the brunt of the impact. Fingers crossed it's resolved, I did see the flight was on time this morning, so good sign hopefully!

I’d go with Delta!

I'm already on Delta, unfortunately it's the one that keeps getting cancelled. Fingers crossed they've resolved the issue and there are no more cancellations for this flight!
