There’s So Much Room to Do Activities! April 2026 TR! (Updated 8/2!!)

I really enjoyed the Butterfly Garden in May on my solo trip! I found so many butterflies and beautiful flowers 🌺
I loved it! Usually I am in and out rather quickly on other visits!

Yes! They did such a good job with it this year. In the past it's been just a quick walk-through since there weren't many butterflies, but it was so much better this year! I also love checking out all the flowers, I'd love to put them all in my garden, but space is getting tight!

Yeah, they did a great job with it this year. We went back a few times to see the butterflies, it was just so cool, plus the garden in there was gorgeous!

I can't believe I missed the butterfly tent in May! What was I even doing in Epcot???
Oh no! I mean, it was off to the side by the Land so not super noticeable like it had been years ago when it was basically smack dab in the middle of FW, so easier to miss. I guess this just means you have to plan another Flower and Garden trip! ::yes::

Day 3, Part 6: Food Booth Time!

We last left off heading to our first food booth of the day. On the way over we got more pictures of the topiaries.

I LOVE Pluto's garden, all the details like the fire hydrant and the dog house are so cute!

We finally made our way over to Florida Fresh. Here mom got the cucumber-watermelon slushy and I got the blackened fish slider.

PXL_20260420_133318002.jpg

The slushy was just as good as the one I had on Saturday, and the slider was delicious! One of my favorite items from the fest.

Once we finished eating, we headed towards the front of the park to check out the topiaries and get some photopass pictures.

We ran into a photographer on the way, so of course stopped for pictures!

We finally made it to the front of SE and started with the tiny world shot, I love these!

Day 3, Part 7: Just Another Photoshoot!

We last left off getting photopass pictures at the front of Epcot. After getting our tiny world shot we looked for other photographers in the area.

We had a choice of two other photographers, and I saw one of them was the elderly photographer I’ve had many times, and he is not only the sweetest, but he also takes a gazillion pictures, and especially loves taking magic shots, so while I knew his line would move slower, I still headed his way.

Sure enough, he took tons of pictures and magic shots!

He really is the sweetest guy, I need to catch his name so I can send in a cast compliment.

After getting those pictures we still had some time before our next plan, so hopped in the other photographers line. This line had a bit of a wait as well, so I got some pictures while waiting.

Eventually it was our turn for pictures!

It was about 10:30 by the time we wrapped up, so time for our Guardians LL!

We got there quickly and walked right into the first preshow.

While in the last preshow room where everyone rushes the doors, I got to talking to a CM who was trying to control the crowd, and while chatting about how obnoxious the rush to the right is there, he told me they were going to be making some changes soon with the exiting of that room into the hall to the ride. Basically the middle door would remain blocked off as it has been for a while now, and when the right and left doors open a CM will be behind one blocking people from moving forward, so one side goes first. And they’ll change the side each preshow so no one should know which door has the advantage. He claimed they’d start on May 1, but I would learn later in the trip they started much earlier.

I will note, I didn’t think this change made much of a difference. Every single time I rode I ended up being on the side that was held (what are the chances?) and we were only held long enough for about half the other side to go through, so it seemed just the same as always with the merging of crowds and chaos trying to file down to a single line again.

And just my own two cents of what might work better, which I know they kind of did but not fully, is they should really have stanchions up diving all the preshow rooms into two, so the LL has to stay on the right and standby has to stay on the left. I know they tried this in the first two rooms for a bit, but that obviously wouldn’t help the issue with everyone rushing the doors in the third room, so they really need to have it in the third room as well, and only once the LL people have exited to the corridor to the ride would they let the standby side go. Yeah it gives advantage to the LL people, but if they pay for the ride I don’t have an issue with them getting the advantage.

Anyways, we once again got Disco!

I love how it took over four years to finally get it, and now we couldn’t stop getting it!

It was just before 11:00 when we got off the ride, so it was time to head to the food booths!

We made our way to the first one of the day, brunchcot!

The line was crazy long already, but mom really wanted something here, so we waited. It took about 25 minutes to get through, but they only had one register open so we didn’t expect a speedy line. (also, Disney seemed to be really understaffing the booths this year, I think we saw maybe two with more than a single register open, and with some of the lines they definitely should have had more than one!)

Here my mom got the avocado toast. We took it to a table nearby to enjoy.

PXL_20260420_151406229.jpg

This was good, my mom loved it, but I thought the avocado had a bit of a funny taste to it, like not bad, but it didn’t taste like avocado.

After eating we started to make our way over to Creations to do some shopping, but stopped at the Monsters Inc topiaries first to get some pictures!

We then popped into Creations for some retail therapy.

Next up: A Trip Around the World

They were doing the 2 door thing when I went in May. It seemed to help a little. I've just gotten to the point where I hang back a little. The simple fact of the matter is: we are all going to get on the ride (unless it goes down) so no need to push and fight.

You definitely got to more of all the flower and garden things in Epcot than I did. I didn't do a single food booth (even though I once again had a list) and I think I missed half of the topiaries you found. Seriously, what did I even DO in Epcot?

Yeah, we try to stay off to the side to avoid the rush, but more often then not we're pushed right into it. It drives me nuts! I wish they had doors on both sides of the room so we wouldn't know which side was going to open.

Haha, are you sure you even went to Epcot? :rotfl: Well, you know what this means, another trip is due!

Day 3, Part 8: A Trip Around the World!

We last left off heading into Creations for a quick shopping trip. Here mom picked up a Christmas present for her sister.

Our next stop was over to the Odyssey where I wanted to pick up the Orange Bird sipper for this year. On the way over we of course took more pictures!

PXL_20260420_152827732.jpg

PXL_20260420_152912619.jpg

I think this is the first time I've actually ever seen the purple martins in the nests!

Eventually we made it over to the Odyssey. Again, the line was very long and it took a while, but about 15 minutes this time so not as bad as Brunchcot.

We decided to hang out in the Odyssey while I drank the slushy to rest a bit, so it was a nice break.

PXL_20260420_154823013.jpg

Once I finished, we made our way out again, this time to do another loop of WS.

We didn’t really stop until we were in Germany. Here I wanted to pick up one of the festival glasses.

PXL_20260802_145521332.jpg

I love this glass, I like the unique shape, and love that Orange Bird is on it!

We continued around WS, our next stop being Japan where mom wanted to pick up some more tea, and I got my favorite chocolates.

After Japan, our next stop was at France, where the line for the food booth wasn’t too bad, so we decided to stop and get some more food! Here we both got the duck and I got the La Vie en Rose frozen slush.

PXL_20260420_162841063.jpg

I was shocked by how good the duck was, like it didn’t taste like any duck I’ve had before, it tasted almost like turkey! The drink was also great!

It was finally time to head back to the room to rest and more importantly, finally unpack!

We swung by the lounge on the way to the room to pick up some room wine and snacks, then headed to the room.

I unpacked a bit, but then decided to take advantage of our giant soaking tub and take a bath! (yes, I brought Clorox wipes to clean it first). I even packed a package of Epsom salt for the bath to make it even more luxurious!

PXL_20260420_172415096.jpg

Guys, this was amazing, it ended up being one of my favorite things from this trip! After walking 20k+ steps to have a relaxing bath with Epsom salts, wine, and of course some music was a dream. If I ever win the lottery I will be staying in this room every trip! (or maybe even a fancier room if money is no object!)

After I got out, I had to go tell my mom (after I could find her, this room was comically large for the two of us) how amazing it was and convinced her she needed to take a bath too. She finally agreed so I cleaned the tub and got a new one set up for her.

As expected, she loved it too and became just as obsessed with them as me!

After we both bathed and finished unpacking, we spent some time just resting. I headed out to the balcony to enjoy the amazing weather, sounds and smells. Seriously, it was like 80 degrees, no humidity, a wonderful breeze blowing the scent of jasmine over, and I could hear the band at the UK pavilion at Epcot out there. It was absolutely perfect!

Eventually I did come in to lay down for a bit, which is when I discovered the most annoying thing in the room. The placement of the main light fixture drove me nuts!!!!

PXL_20260420_190035143.jpg

Like why? Did they run out of wire so they couldn’t center it? I looked at our pictures from the two-bedroom suite here in 2023 and the fixture was centered in that room, so why couldn’t they do that here??? :confused3

Around 5 we popped over to the lounge to grab something small to hold us over to dinner.

PXL_20260420_210252390.jpg

We then headed back to the room to rest some more before our evening plans.

After a gloriously relaxing afternoon, it was time to get ready for our big night out! This evening we were heading to Capa!

While getting ready I found the super fancy hair dryer. Probably the nicest hair dryer I've ever seen in a hotel! (It's a Dyson!)

Next up: Capa!

Something about that duck doesn't look appetizing but I'm glad it was good :-) Your room sounds amazing! Good call to relax, bathe and rest before the night out. I'm sure it made for a more enjoyable evening.

The festival glass is adorable. Can you use it for hot drinks?

I've had plans to try the duck just about every trip. Maybe I'll finally get it when we are there next trip. The pink drink is my favorite festival drink. :)
I unpacked a bit, but then decided to take advantage of our giant soaking tub and take a bath!
That tub is amazing! It is impossible to get a relaxing bath in a normal Disney room bathtub. They are too shallow.

That is one of my favorite things about staying at the BC, but only if your room faces Epcot. :)

Haha, yeah it's not the prettiest dish, but it was really tasty!

Our room was so amazing, we loved having that bath tub and all the extra space to spread out and get some alone time when needed!

I haven't used it for hot drinks yet, but it's very thick glass, so I imagine it would be fine.

I was surprised at how good the duck was! I'd definitely get it again. That drink is sooooo good, a little too good actually, it went down fast!

We loved being able to hear the music from Epcot! We also got very lucky with the weather that week that it was so enjoyable to sit outside for hours.
