There’s a chance I can move from BWV to Poly for 3 nights.

Standard View which we have never had. I was reading that some prefer Standard View. Why? Also, the quiet pool was being worked on when we were there. How deep is that pool? Is there anything special about it?

Thank you!
Bobbi:)

Poly quiet pool has been rebuilt to the new standard for Disney at about 4 feet deep, it is nice, and has a bar and some food right there.

I would prefer it over the Lava pool without kids, but if I had my kids we would go to the Lava Pool.

I decided to go with the Poly. 3 nights BWV, 3 nights Poly.:)
Thank goodness I had some more points to borrow from 2019.

Congrats! You will love it!

We prefer Standard view as the boat horns heard from Lake View were so brutal that even earplugs didn’t keep them out. We live in the middle of a big city and are used to noise, but this was something else. Many people are not bothered by the noise, however, so this is very subjective.

The Oasis pool is salt water (or the pool water equivalent, I know that there is some specific chemistry there that I’m not knowledgeable about). It is zero entry and perfect for lounging around in. There is lots of shade and the pool bar is very nice, with good food.

That is what we are doing for our next trip- 4 nights at Poly Standard and 4 nights BWV standard. It will be our first time at Poly. Enjoy!

We just added 2 POLY nights to the front end of our 8 night BWV in Jan/Feb. We waitlisted the additional 2 for BWV, but grabbed the 2 at Poly that were available. Now, the more we talk about it, and as much as it's nice to settle into one hotel, we are getting excited for the 2 nights at Poly. We had Lake View our last time at Poly, and the boat horns were brutal, but I still waitlisted for them vs. the standard room we booked.

Poly std is nice; the boat horns are muted. Also, my kids actually prefer the salt water quiet pool over the lava pool. I wonder if it still has the resident pet duck, aka “lucky” or “Kevin”— it’s been a few years for us.

We just did a split stay at BWV and Poly in June and it was wonderful! BWV and Poly are my 2 favorite resorts.
