Kylie loves her 1900 Park Fare. I think it is the strawberry soup. We are trying the breakfast next time, with Alice and Mary Poppins. I wasn't that thrilled with the dinner food the last couple times we went, especially considering I think it is the most expensive buffet we went to. The desserts were pretty good though, but the soft serve machine is gone. The last birthday cupcake of the trip That lady's ham comment was pretty funny. Usually it's someone we know making a comment like that (Dad).

I just loved Minnie's safari shoes.

I can't believe this is the end of the Super Sassy Sweet 16 trip! We did a pretty good job!

Turns out being a senior about to graduate college is a LOT busier than I anticipated.

I know. DD18 is doing the same.

Unfortunately the frozen Coke machine was broken so I moseyed my way to Dinoland.

Is the frozen Coke different from a Slurpee?

Mom: Ky, Emily and I went to meet Safari Minnie and Mickey. I loved Minnie’s shoes, still fashionable even on safari.

No one.... And I mean no one is more fashionable than Minnie!

I was actually praying to get soaked because it would cool me off a bit. We got pleasantly splashed so I enjoyed it overall.

That's the first time I've heard that one!
Usually it's "I hoped I wouldn't get soaked!"

I walked right into the Grand Floridian and the band was playing “A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes.” It made me SO happy since that song was kind of following me around this trip! It sounded beautiful and I was so happy to hear it.

Now, I can’t say I’m the biggest fan of this restaurant. You can read all about that here.

I did. Bummer about blowing the cake surprise.
I could see how that would put a damper on any enthusiasm for going back.

She was absolutely awesome and totally made up for the service we had last time we were there.

Reminds me of when I was in DHS with the girls.
One of the Streetmosphere performers asked DD8 if she wanted DD12 to be in the picture.
DD8 said no, so the lady told DD12 "Get back!!".
It was hysterical.
(She also told DD8 to put DD12's socks in the freezer.)

After that my mom went back up to the buffet and when she came back she was cracking up. The woman in front of us was telling her son that he had to have some turkey, and my mom explained that it was actually ham and not turkey on the buffet. The woman said, “Oh, right. Wrong bird.”

OMG! That's hysterical!
And Rob already beat me to the punch line!

We browsed some gift shops before heading back to our room to pack. SAD FACE. CRYING EMOJI.

The accumulation of birthday swag and towel animals:

Quite the haul! I only managed one towel animal at ASMu.

The CM who rang us up said that the other night a whole tour group came in 5 minutes before closing to order meals. So much respect for the CMs.

Ugh. I remember those days. You've got everything cleaned and packed up and...

Nope!

I hated when that happened.

I'm so sad your TR is coming to an end, I've enjoyed reading along so much! Um, I don't do Instagram but.....maybe I'll have DS13 show me how so I can follow you......
I have wanted to do 1900PF dinner for awhile now but of course my DS's have no desire. In the past I've gotten them to do Akershus twice and meet multiple princesses with me. So for our Nov. trip I pretty much decided they'd have to suck it up again for mom and do another character meal, but I was a little hesitant. Always hear good things about the character interaction but so-so reviews of the food. Your review and pictures have made me decide to keep it on our list! The characters sound great and the food looks good, too. I'm glad you had a better experience this time around

I absolutely loved all the pics of the step-family and their hilarious comments. That was one of my least favorite restaurants too - not for the characters, but because the food was just NOT good. I doubt we will be back anytime soon, but I am so glad to hear that your experience was better this time.

We should definitely see the parade together! I know Willow would stop for it if she were watching with a super-cool DCP CM. And so would I! And I'm pretty sure that she will be satisfied with getting you on ToT once with your hands in the air - you won't have to do it 13 times like I had to...... Of course, I'm thinking such a thing would not even be possible now, especially during the summer crowds. You should be safe.

We ate dinner there the one and only time we did the dining plan. I chose it because it was one of the most expensive 1 TS credit meals I could find and I wanted to experience the character interaction I had heard about. For some reason the Stepsisters and stepmother were not very good that night. I was really disappointed because I had heard how great they were.

I have to admit, when I saw Safari Mickey & Minnie, I didn't pay attention to Minnie's shoes ... they're super cute!

I did not know that there was a PP desk at GF ... that's actually a really good thing to know. And we always check at the end of the trip to make sure our pictures are all there (although lately we've been looking online from our phones every night just to see if they're all there).

I LOOOOOVE Frozen Cokes at Disney. Pop used to have a Frozen coke machine that I would visit many times during our trips when suddenly it was almost always out of order and on our last trip, completely gone. Seriously, such sadness.

Chapter 50: Merch Roundup and Final Thoughts

I honestly didn’t realize how much merch I bought this trip until I got home…first, the things I bought for other people. The Stitch I got for my friend’s sister:

My friend asked me to buy her this necklace, as she bought one a few years ago and it was starting to get worn down:

And at the time, I was dating a guy who was really into soccer. We broke up before I could give him this shirt, so I ended up sending it back, but in case any soccer fans are interested in Disney’s World Cup merchandise:

This trip was one of the most exhausting trips of my life, and there were some tough moments, but this trip was pure magic through and through. I have been to Disney more than 20 times so I LOVED that we did so many new things on this trip: Keys to the Kingdom…

So what’s next? The DISNEY COLLEGE PROGRAM!!! I will be doing a TR, so keep an eye out for that coming this June,

Courtney thank you so so much for sharing your latest Disney adventure with us! I don't comment much but have been following along from the start and have loved every minute.

My dream is to do the Keys to the Kingdom tour and your report was great as it gave me a real insight into the tour without spoiling it in any way. Our next Disney trip is likely to be to Disneyland as part of our honeymoon (we're touring California) so I'll hopefully get to do one of the tours there.
