Back to Chef Mickey's, the pictures are awesome and it sounds like you had a great time with the characters. I didn't know about the five-legged goat, but I've seen that mural a bunch of times when we go to Chef Mickey’s. I’ll have to look for it next time.

I know I am in the minority, but I am still not that impressed with Mine Train. It didn't live up to the hype for me. But that witch picture at the end is terrific!

Chapter 18: Crystal Palace

Once we left the Mine Train, it was time for our brunch ADR at Crystal Palace!

The last time we did Crystal Palace was probably in 2009 or 2010, and it was for dinner, but we decided to try it for brunch this trip. And oh man. I was so glad we did. This honestly was my favorite meal of the trip. I love breakfast food. AND LOOK AT THIS BREAKFAST FOOD. Feel free to start drooling. I won't judge.

The puffed French toast was everything. It tasted like a churro!!! I also had some delicious apple pastries, the always-great Mickey waffles, sausage (pretty standard but I needed some protein with all these carbs), and breakfast lasagna (which was very good but much sweeter than I anticipated).

Pooh Bear came to visit first!

Aunt Patti had him sign a Pooh book because my cousin just had a baby and had asked everyone to bring a book to the baby shower.

Tigger was next. He was very happy to see himself in the autograph book and thought he looked good.

He also pointed out that Aunt Patti was Bashful and snuggled with her.

Piglet loved the autograph book as well!

BIRTHDAY CUPCAKE #3!

Eeyore came over as our waiter delivered the cupcake and conducted a chorus of Happy Birthday!

Kylie got a card signed by all the characters, which was so nice.

This was definitely my favorite meal of the trip. Everyone loved the food—even my mom, who had been feeling sick, said this was the first meal she was really able to enjoy. The characters were adorable and the service was great. I also really enjoyed doing the late breakfast too. We got to ride a bunch of headliners early and then enjoyed a nice brunch and escape from the heat. I would definitely do it again!

You can't go wrong with a character breakfast. The Winnie the Pooh characters are adorable. What a nice way to celebrate a birthday.

love CP breakfast and I may have drooled a little over the puffed french toast. You relating it to a churro is one of the best descriptions I have heard! The breakfast lasagna is really good - though, like you said a little sweet. To me, one of those dishes that a little goes a long way

And the character meets there are always so fun!

I found your TR and it's amazing thus far! To travel with so many people and keep it all together, wow. I have had a couple of trips with 5 or more people and you can never keep everyone happy, even in the happiest place on earth!

Your sister is adorable and I love the Disneybound outfits. Sadly, I've never heard of that but will definitely keep my eyes open for those outfits in the future.

KTTK is so much fun!! It was informative, but it didn't detract from the magic for me at all. It only made me appreciate the people behind it even more. I cannot wait to see your sister's reaction to it.

One of my favorite memories is from Crystal Palace. We were there with my mom and step-dad having breakfast. Tigger came over and picked the camera up off the table and took a selfie of his eyes. It was hysterical.

You know what? We discovered the wonder of booking a late breakfast on our last WDW trip too. Isn't it great???? Get some big rides in before the crowds descend and then escape for a nice meal. It works especially well for us West Coasters who just can't stomach eating at what would be 4AM our time.
