Chapter 6: "Why Couldn't Peter Pan Fly?"
August 19th, 2011
We got off the "Happiest Cruise that Ever Sailed" (but literally... we were ecstatic) and we headed over to Tomorrowland!
We tried to go on the PeopleMover, but it was closed. Wahh.
Some people had to take a bathroom break, but I didn't have to go, so I went into MICKEY'S STAR TRADERS. (say that like the old Transit Authority voiceover. Thank you.)
I took a picture of these little figurines of "Princess and the Frog" and "Tangled." I have to say that both of these movies were EXTREMELY impressive. I know a lot of people didn't want to give them a chance, but I would highly recommend seeing them if you haven't already. They're some of my all time favorites!
Once everyone got out of the bathroom, we decided to go on Buzz Lightyear! Nat was very excited because it was her first Toy Story themed ride of the trip! Yay!
Nat and I sat together, and she did extremely well! I got 53,000 points, and she got 51,000! Very impressive. I guess she's just a natural.
This picture came out kind of blurry, but you can see Kristen in the back there. I thought it looked cool with all of the colors.
Here's Kristen and her Mother:
And Sarah and Scott:
We went into the gift shop and Nat was VERY happy... Toy Story merchandise everywhere!! She had to, of course, see if Lotso smelled like Strawberries.
He did.
And she had to try on precious Toy Story mouse ears. So cute!
And the obligatory photo with Zurg:
Mission Accomplished, Space Rangers.
Our next stop was the Laugh Floor Comedy Club! It was SUCH a good one... the audience was really into it! I guess everyone finds things hilarious at 11:30 at night.
I love this woman.
Sam and Ella did their countries act for this show. These two Indian people, a man and a son, were put on the screen. They both had very ethnic names. One was Mituz and the other... I don't remember. Sam and Ella had trouble understanding, but they just went with it! And it was HILARIOUS. They made a little song out of it. I don't know what it's called... but it sounds like a horse race song? (du-du-duh, du-du-duh, du-du-duh-duh-duh! I don't know if that helps hahaha) Anyways... it was great. The audience (and the guy and his son) really enjoyed it.
Then for the mind-reading part with Buddy Boyle, this lady named Monique was on camera. Her kids were putting their hands on her face so they were on camera, too. Her older sister (I think?) started joining in and then uh... grabbed her... chest.

Sooo they immediately ended the scene and Buddy Boyle dropped through the floor. Very awkward (yet pretty hilarious). I don't know why someone would do that at Disney, though. That's sort of rude. Oh well.
Mike's little nephew was up last. His best joke of the evening was:
"Why couldn't Peter Pan fly?"
"Because he can never, never land!"
Very cute.
So to say the least, that was a pretty interesting Laugh Floor experience! We definitely filled up that can!
We left Tomorrowland and decided to head over to the other side of the park. On the way, we took some pictures in front of the castle:
Eventually we ended up going here:
The new sign looks just lovely! On my last trip they were fixing it up, so it was nice to see the finished result!
Our next stop was the Jungle Cruise!
Our skipper had SO much energy!! Dang, everybody was crazy that night.
He asked if we wanted to hear a joke. So we said sure!
What joke did he ask?
"Why couldn't Peter Pan fly?"
"Because he can never never land."
Such consistency throughout the Magic Kingdom! hahaha
He was a fantastic skipper and we had a lot of fun on that cruise!
