OK...it's been 2 years since our last Disney Magic...can someone remind me what nights are Formal and Semi-Formal...we are on the 6/14 Eastern cruise...I remember tropical night is the night we are in St. Martin, but that's about it!! Thanks!

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't I just read a trip report and post from the ship that stated the semi-formal night is now the first day at sea on the eastern. When is the new formal night? Appreciate any help from recent eastern cruisers!

I just read that too...and since I created the charts I would like to hear from more recent Eastern Cruisers to see if this is a permanent change or just happened on that one cruise.

If it turns out to be a permanent change then I will update the charts.

Just read Hans Solo's live Magic report and he is on the Eastern now. He said tonight is semi-formal night.....this used to be Formal night so maybe it is a permanent change.

Thanks for the update. My dream is formal night at Lumieres. We will look into this further as it gets closer to our cruise.

I am with you...my favorite rotations are the one where I am in Lumiere's on Formal night and Parrot Cay on Tropical night. On the Eastern that rotation would be PLAP unless the change is permanent then it would be ALP (but that would mess up tropical night in Parrot Cay).

I hope they don't permanently change the Formal and Semi-Formal nights...personally, I really like the Formal night right after you board, and the semi more towards the end of the week....guess we'll wait and see!!

During the 4-5 Eastern, semi-formal was Sunday, formal was Thursday, and tropical was Tues.

We had PLA, so semi-formal was Lumieres (OK). Formal was Animators (2nd time so no show). Tropical was Parrot Cay (our favorite restaurant).
