Theme Parks from DTD

Are there any buses to the theme parks from DTD? We usually hit the parks after lunch and were thinking of taking the boat from POR to DTD and eating at Earl of Sandwich and then taking the bus from DTD to a park. Is this possible or will we have to go back to a resort first?

There are no buses to the theme parks from Downtown Disney. You'll need to transfer at one of the resorts.

P.S. There haven't been any busues to the theme parks from DD for quite some time. The stated reason is that the majority of riders were either -

off site guests parking there to avoid the parking fee at the theme park lots
or
guests from the DD Hotels who didn't want to use the transportation provided by the DD Hotels.
