Long time Disney cruiser, first time RCCL on Symphony of the Seas leaving next weekend - woo hoo!! I just learned of an 80s night. From your experience, is there decent participation (like you see for pirate night on my beloved Disney ships)? I LOVE a reason to play dress up, but also don’t want to show up to dinner as Cindi Lauper and Maverick in Top Gun if it’s not really that big of a thing

I don’t think you see pirate night-level buy in, but people will dress up for the party itself.

There’s sometimes a Caribbean/Hawaiian theme night, where you can wear Hawaiian shirts if you want.
