Thematic Portforlio

I am doing at thematic portfolio in Disney in a week and I need to come up with a Theme and a saying to go along with it. I am stuck on the theme and saying...anyone have any ideas.

It is for a film photography class and I have to take atleast 10 rolls of 36 exposure.

I feel like I'm helping someone cheat on their homework , but when thinking about this same thing recently in case I get stuck in a rut while shooting in WDW, here is the idea I came up with.

One of the first ones that came to mind is to shoot patterns. Whether it's patterns on character clothing, on the theme of a ride, tiles/bricks on a walkway, etc. patterns have got to be something readily available to shoot in WDW.

You might use the quote:

It could be just about anything from rides to characters....

(Keep in mind I don't really know what I'm talking about)

Ah thematic portfolios...I'm in the same spot in my photo (well actually art) class. But I'm not doing mine around Disney, even though that would be awesome! I had major issues coming up with my theme so I did a word association and also a free write on the topic. But since you have to do it based around a quote here's what I came up with....

You have a Mickey in every photo, whether it be a prominent or in the background/not the focus or hidden or obvious.

"I try to build a full personality for each of our cartoon characters - to make them personalities" - Walt Disney
I don't know if you are going down with anyone else but you could do photos of them interacting with the characters. Candid shots to show the personality of the characters and how they make the guests feel.

Just google Disney Quotes or quotes about any topic you associate with Disney and I'm sure you'll be able to come up with something. PM if you want any help. I'm all in the mindset of thematic portfolios thanks to my class. =)

I came up with a few...

All the worlds in the world showcase in epcot (but I am not getting a park hopper and dont wanna waste my day there trying to take 10 rolls lol)

Hidden mickeys - which is what I am going to do!

anyone have an idea where I can find a list of them, I might just go buy the book lol.
