The "You're not going until WHEN?" pre trip report. Update 10/2 - WE TOLD! video!

Love the bag! And, I'm impressed that it is packed. I've started throwing some things into a suitcase but have lots to do. You're motivating me to get started.

Hi Joanie

great to see your latest post. Did you make your LGMH or laminate some from HD?

You are so organized! I have a big deadline at work due Oct 4 and we are leaving Oct 5 so I may be packing in the middle of the nite.

We did get our travel docs from AAA a couple days ago but my DH says he doesn't see our flight info in there!! Now I am worried since our flights are Airtran and I know some layoffs happened and some people have had flight changes. did you figure out that your flights had changed or did your TA notify you? We actually had good flight times for a change and so don't want any changes! We will stop by AAA tomorrow to check.

I am so excited I called last Sunday (35 days out) and booked a Wishes Cruise! I thought the reservations people would laugh when I tried that late!

love the pix of your boys. My DS started kindergarten 2 weeks ago and I didn't get a picture!

Thanks! I got them from HD and just glued them together, cut them out, put the stickers on and laminated them. DH just rolls his eyes! I am going to call my TA on Monday and see what is up with the travel docs. We booked our flights, not our TA. So far we are good, we love our flights, but I do expect AirTran to change them :(

Very cool about the Wishes cruise!!!

As for the K pic - no one has to know, just "redo" it :)

I love your bag. I really should have gotten one of them, probably too late now

Your boys look very handsome:goodvibes

I got my Disney documents today in the mail. I would think your AAA agent should have them by now, or by Monday at latest :goodvibes

Oh man, I have seen that Uncle Dick's Youtube video, lets hope not :rotfl2:

It's not too late! Order it now and you will have it in a week!!

It's packed because I'm a nut job :) I am going to start the suitcases soon. We are going away the weekend before Disney, so I have to worry about that too. I also have to keep everything hidden!

Now, that I've looked at it again - which Baggalini is that? I think I'm almost ready to give in. Usually, I carry a backpack when we travel but I get tired of always having to take it off if I want something. I don't want to carry too much into the parks this trip but I know I can't go without anything like some people. I wish I could go without one - wouldn't have to stand in line to get the bag checked out at security.

It is the Khaki Baggallini in Crinkle Nylon. It looks a little "shiny" in that picture, but it's really not!

I was surprised it was as big as it is, not huge big, but holds a ton. It was between this and the Overland Donner for me, and I think for me, I made the right decision!

On Wednesday, we went to our AAA TA to pick up these:
So very exciting!!

I am paranoid about our flights, and I'm checking them 2X a day - so far so good.

I have my "available snacks on DDP" cards ready to laminate and my "touring cards" are almost done. I will finish them up this weekend and get them all laminated. I think I have everything in my "ship down" box, I am going to repack that and address it so it is ready to ship out in 15 days. I am sure I am sending too much stuff down, but I don't want to be caught without, know what I mean????

I am also strarting to think it's going to be very crowded - I am hoping that the crowds don't pick up until the weekend we leave (we leave the Sat of Columbus Day weekend). Any thoughts on that???

OK, time to get ready for soccer - our 1st game today!

Isn't finishing up plans, laminating, and getting those beautiful yellow luggage tags make a trip oh, so much more real!

Have so much fun packing, preparing, and watching soccer! Look forward to reading more!!

Watching???? I wish, I am the head coach! It was a tie today, 0-0. We just couldn't get it in the goal :( But, we had it down their end about 75% of the game, which I was happy with!

And yes all those pieces of paper does make it seem more real!!!

I swore I posted on here either, guess I am losing my mind:laughing:

Yes, having those documents in your hand make it feel so much more real for sure:woohoo:

Since you are leaving Saturday, I think you will be fine as far as crowds.

We are there until Tuesday, the 14th, so I have a feeling we are going to have a couple days of busy parks:eek:

I hope you are right about the crowds, Trentmom!

Did I tell you I got the Indy hats? The Halloween store at the old Franks was open when I went 3 weeks ago, so I got them there! Only $7 each, which I didn't think was too bad!

I hope we run into each other in the parks, since we will over lap!

No, you didn't...That is an awesome deal:thumbsup2

That would be cool

Do any of our park days match up:

7th....arrival day, going to be at Epcot in late afternoon

8th.... MK

9th....MNSSHP

10th.....DHS(always be MGM to me) during day
Epcot for EMH

11th.....AK

Those are days overlapping:goodvibes

Hooray for the documents. Isn't it amazing how exciting we can get about that kind of stuff? :cool1:

Thanks again for the pics of the Baggalini - I've decided that is the one I'm going to get. Just waiting for 1 more survey on e-rewards so I can cash in.

I guess coaching requires a little more participation than simply watching! :rolleyes1 Ha, ha!

Just joining your TR now. We will be at Disney the same time as you (with LGMH's on). Only a week away! If it makes you feel any better, we are flying out of AC on Spirit and they changed our flight coming home twice and changed our departing time twice. Its just the way of the beast-still very frustrating though. Just thought I'd pop in and say hello from LBI! Looking forward to hearing how your trip goes! :goodvibes

WOOHOO!!!! This time next week we will be landing at MCO (hopefully :) )

I have been busy making a few shirts. I finished the kids, but not our MNSSHP shirts yet - hoping to do those on Monday. We are going away this weekend, so that complicates things. And, sadly, I am almost all packed for Disney, but not one thing is ready for the weekend, and we leave tonight! Gotta get off the Dis and get moving!

Here are pics of the shirts and some "activity" books I downloaded from someone!

I came over to your PTR since you are reading along on mine:thumbsup2 I JUST found it, but I am starting on page one and I should be caught up in about 45 minutes. I can't believe that you are 7 days away from a trip you planned 2 years ago- that must be so crazy to think about!!!

Those activity books look like fun.

You did a great job on the shirts.

I love the Star Wars one. THat is so cool:thumbsup2

Have a good time this weekend:goodvibes

Just found your PTR - only a few more days for you!!!!! :cool1:  :yay: :dance3: :woohoo:

I love all your shirts!

What all are you sending down in your box? I am debating on this, or just using GardenGrocer.com....we have a baby, so I have to get diapers and wipes - along with milk and bottled water. Maybe a box or two of granola bars too - not sure what else to send/purchase though....I am probably missing something VERY obvious!

If I end up ordering from them I'm going to also get fresh fruit so we can have healthy snacks occasionally and yogurt for breakfast since we usually eat breakfast in our room.

Thanks! I can't wait to finish the adults MNSSHP shirts!

Well, we decided to do it all in a suitcase, and not ship a box. We have an "extra" suitcase, so we can just lug it with us. I chose to pack the breakfast items instead of using GG because I can do it much cheaper. I am a HUGE coupon user, and never pay more than .25-.50 a box for brand name cereal/granola bars. I am also shipping our toiletries. If we do not use them all, I will just toss them - I get shampoo, toothpaste, etc free at CVS all the time, so I don't mind a little waste for vacation. :) I am also packing our over the door shoe thing for our toiletries and extra ponchos.

I went back and forth too, and this is what ended working for us :) I did order 2 cases of bottled water from Costco.com. I do not have a membership and it only cost around $15 and it will be waiting for us at check in!

Just weigh the pros and cons - our big con with no GG was no fresh fruit - but I figure we can get that at the food court!
