Totally understand the planning thing. I even plan what pictures I absolutely have to take. Are you flying AirTran out of Philly International. Your flight times are exactly the same as mine but I'm leaving Oct 9th and coming home Oct 14th. We are doing MNSSH on Oct 9th. I will probably be going to MNSSH as a zombie due to the length of travel that day.

Are you flying airtran home on Oct 14th to Philly? We are.

We will be on the 8:30pm flight. How bout ya?

This time of year is nuts, with the kids finishing up school (there is something going on all the time), baseball season, swim lessons coming up and Adam's
7th birthday!

I called for my MNSSHP tickets on May 1st and got them for Oct 5th - we gave BIL that and the Segway tour for his birthday last month! He was really excited, especially about the Segway tour!

Tazdev - yes we are flying AirTran out of Philly! We got the best deal with them. I just hope our flight times do not change!

I have been checking my airtran flights like every 2 or 3 days....super paranoid

I normally fly Southwest, but Airtran was so much cheaper

Yup. Same thing here for the 11th. 8:30 is gone, and we are booked on 4:57. I really, really hope they don't mess with our 7 am leaving PHL!

It looks like the 7am is pretty full, so crossing my fingers that it really is and nothing happens to it for either one of us


I am thinking maybe the reason that the 8:30pm flight was canceled was that it appeared to be half empty

Just found your PTR. You'll be leaving a few days before we get there.

Sounds like you've made some great plans and you're eating at some nice places.

We're planning on surprising our boys with our Oct. trip.

And, keep checking those AirTran flights. We fly out of BWI and they changed our flight from 6:05 PM to 7:45 PM for the day we leave. Luckily, they were nice when I called and changed it to earlier that day. Now, the boys will miss a few more hours of school than we planned, BUT, we'll be at POP for dinner. instead of 11 PM.

HI!!! I have not updated in a loooonnnnggggg time. Not much to write about, just waiting....waiting.....waiting.....only 70 more days!!!

I'll update soon with some packing lists, ship a box vs. garden grocer and such!

Oh, we gave DBIL the Segway tour for his birthday and he is very excited! And, we gave DH his for Father's Day! They can't wait!

It's been soooooooooooooo long since I updated! So, in honor of that, I will post some pics of us!

Not the best pic I have, but the others are not uploaded to Snapfish yet! If you have not figured it out, it is DH, Me, DS2 and DS1. The boys were in DH's niece's wedding last July.

Here is DS1 on Halloween last year - he was a "child abducted by an alien"

And DS2, surprise, Star Wars!

I searched around, and can't find a pic of BIL - hmmmmm...have to work on that one!

I can't believe we are only 52 days away! The secret is still holding strong, but it is very hard! It helps that the kids know we are going sometime this school year - but they think it's March! They will be floored when we tell them-we hope!

I went and paid off the trip on Saturday - what a nice feeling! I am still hoping for some type of general code to come out! I got my first pin code a few days ago, but it did not work on my travel dates

I have started a box in my closet of "Disney stuff" - shampoo, hand wipes, ponchos, single serve cereals, etc. I am still trying to decide if I am going to dedicate 1 checked suitcase to that stuff, or just ship it down. Any opinions?

I promise to try and update more - I am hoping to get a few shirts made soon, so I will post pics of those!

but, that idea works great too. My boys have become really into Indiana Jones and are constantly watching the DVDs of #1,#2, and #3 and know that I will buy #4 when it's released.

I called CRO first thing yesterday morning to try and use "the code" and could not change the reservation, since a TA made it. But I did ask about POFQ availability and they said "no, that resort is not an option". I really spent a lot of time and thought into our resort, so I was not really willing to change (unless we upgraded to a Deluxe!)

Well, I called and left a message with my AAA TA at 7:15 (she gets in at 10) with the info, just to see if there was anything she could do. She called at 10 to tell me she would call and see what she could do.

I didn't hear from her all day so I figured there was nothing she could do.

Well......at 4:50 she called me back with GREAT NEWS!

Congratulations on getting the discount for POFQ. Didn't see many of those posted yesterday.

When I got my PIN the other day I tried for POFQ first and there was nothing available so we went with CSR.

Isn't saving money wonderful? And, I couldn't agree more - pre-DIS I would never have known about possible discounts either. I would've booked my trip, read a tour guide book and pack. Boy, times have changed for me.
