The Young Avengers and The Phantom of the Opera (YAMRP Part 2)

[Fairywings]

Trigger: "It sounds amazing. It does sound difficult, but we have plenty of drive and time to make it happy. Plus Scott and I can also build and design during class. Let's do this!"

Scott: "Yeah!"

Ooc: I don't disagree with you, and it's great you have the right cast. If we did I'd want to do it too. Actually a nearby high school was one of the first to premiere it. Lucky kids.

Mike: He grinned. "Cool. And as for the stage part of the set..." He sketched a basic but large (like spanning entire stage) structure with boxes on the side looking down to the cut out middle, the 'stage'. "If we want or have the time, we can decorate to make this fancier, but this is more simple really."

 

[Fairywings]

OOC: This one had it already in for me, so I just didn't bother changing the character's names.

PHANTOM:
Brava, Brava, Bravissima

MEG:
Christine, Christine

PHANTOM:
Christine

MEG:
Where in the world have you been hiding?
Really, you were perfect
I only wish I knew your secret
Who is your great tutor?

MEG:

MEG:

[Orreed]

Evelyn: Yay it was time to sing a duet! She enjoyed singing. And Hope had a lovely voice.

Trigger and Scott: They listened, totally enganged. "Sounds like a great plan. Gee, I think you've become the captain of our team.", Scott chuckled.

Mike: He blushed. "Sorry, I didn't mean to take over or anything. I just keep getting thrust into these positions where I have to play leader or inventor or whatever....."

 

[Fairywings]

Evelyn: Yay it was time to sing a duet! She enjoyed singing. And Hope had a lovely voice.

Hope: She liked this song and liked that she got to sing it with Evelyn.

 

[Orreed]

Mike: He blushed. "Sorry, I didn't mean to take over or anything. I just keep getting thrust into these positions where I have to play leader or inventor or whatever....."

Trigger: "Oh no don't worry man we're cool with it. Your gifted at it."

 

[Orreed]

Teacher: They sung for about a hour. "Bravo everyone! Rehearsal dismissed. No rehesal tommorow because I figured every one will be busy getting for homecoming. Have a nice night, we're done."

Jay: "Sweet. I don't have to skip to get his license.", he told the YA's. He took Hope's hand and walked out.

Evelyn: She went to the teacher's office and knocked. "Hey babe, rehearsals over."

 

[Fairywings]

Trigger: "Oh no don't worry man we're cool with it. Your gifted at it."

Mike: On the charming outer facade, he smiled shyly. "Thanks." But inwardly he sighed. Another natural talent for the golden boy. Another pedestal. He was Lieutenant America, the so-called perfect kid, but he was weeks away from sixteen. He wasn't perfect! But that was his life curse, people kept placing him on pedestals. He wondered how at this point he was good enough for any of them.

 

[Orreed]

Mike: On the charming outer facade, he smiled shyly. "Thanks." But inwardly he sighed. Another natural talent for the golden boy. Another pedestal. He was Lieutenant America, the so-called perfect kid, but he was weeks away from sixteen. He wasn't perfect! But that was his life curse, people kept placing him on pedestals. He wondered how at this point he was good enough for any of them.

Tony: he had a big surprise for the kids, so he was driving to the manor.

Teacher: They sung for about a hour. "Bravo everyone! Rehearsal dismissed. No rehesal tommorow because I figured every one will be busy getting for homecoming. Have a nice night, we're done."

Jay: "Sweet. I don't have to skip to get his license.", he told the YA's. He took Hope's hand and walked out.

Hope - Hope's problem is that she's always afraid and doesn't see herself in a good light - often times she sees herself as a monster.

Raven - Raven's problem is that she constantly has to choose between what she knows/been raised with and what society expects her to be, what she knows and what could be.

Conrad - nothing for him, yet

 

[Orreed]

Hope: "Yay for you!"

Mike: He smiled at his girl. "All right. See you. mates," he said to the guys as he wrapped his arm around his girl and headed for his bike.

Jay: "Yeah, I'm so excited!" They got in the van and left.

Evelyn: She smiled back at her man and waved to the techies. "Bye guys." Evelyn felt happy close to Mike. "I'm sure happy we don't have to act sad anymore.", she said as they entered the parking lot and arrived at the bike.

 

[The Villianess]

Nova: Nova was sitting with Jeff in a booth, talking about herself a little and listening to him a little. She really hated to admit it, but she could see that they were quickly becoming friends.

Jeff: Jeff thought Nova was an amazing person, even though she tended to shut people out and stick to her own. He could really see past that, like a true friend should be able to do.

Nova: Nova took another sip of her milkshake. She said, "Thank you, I haven't been able to relax like this in a long time."

Jeff: Jeff gave Nova a calm smile as he took a sip. He said, "It's so, so amazing what you can do with a little persuasion."

Nova: "Yeah."

Jeff: "Tell me about your cheerleading life. I haven't been this close to a real cheerleader before."

Nova: "There isn't really much to tell about it. The only interesting thing for you is that we keep everyone in the audience droned to our mind controlling happiness."

 

[Fairywings]

Jay: "Yeah, I'm so excited!" They got in the van and left.

Evelyn: She smiled back at her man and waved to the techies. "Bye guys." Evelyn felt happy close to Mike. "I'm sure happy we don't have to act sad anymore.", she said as they entered the parking lot and arrived at the bike.

Hope: "I bet."

Mike: "Yeah." He got on and once his girlfriend was secure he rode off.

At the House......

Raven: She was training. If Hope or any of the doctor-y/health/healing-related people saw her, they'd have a fit, say she was over-exerting herself. But Raven would stop only if she collapsed. No room for weakness after all, and with her eye gone she had to be an even stronger fighter to make up for it.

Conrad: He was tinkering with his wings. He couldn't build other tech, but he was responsible for repairing and updating his wings, and that he was good at.

 

[Orreed]

OOC: That's Mike's 'problem' you can say.

OOC: Interesting. Mine both deal with their parents identities being revealed.

Evelyn- Pressure to be as skilled as her parents, choosing weather to focus on training or relationships, her skilled observations not ruining things, bluntness.

Jay- Feeling less skilled and attractive than his sister, fear of failing Hope, lack of concentration

 

[The Villianess]

OOC: Raven's problem is definitely the most realistic and intriguing, which is probably why she works so well as a character.

Nova's problem is acting like Elsa and shutting out everyone in her life, not nearly as interesting as anyone else's struggle on the thread. I guess one could argue that she has mommy issues, but I find those issues hard to develop.

Mike: "Yeah." He got on and once his girlfriend was secure he rode off.

At the House......

Raven: She was training. If Hope or any of the doctor-y/health/healing-related people saw her, they'd have a fit, say she was over-exerting herself. But Raven would stop only if she collapsed. No room for weakness after all, and with her eye gone she had to be an even stronger fighter to make up for it.

Conrad: He was tinkering with his wings. He couldn't build other tech, but he was responsible for repairing and updating his wings, and that he was good at.

Jay: They all arrived at the manor. "Well Hope, I hate to do this but your just too irresistible. I'm off to my room to study for the driving test." Jay gave her kiss.

Evelyn: "I'm going to make dinner, but you don't need to help. You need some rest for the big homecoming game. My man needs energy to lead his team to victory!"
