[Fairywings]

Raven: Her mission was fairly straightforward. It was finished with quickly. She pulled up her hood and walked into the night.

 

[Fairywings]

Person: "Benji!"

Raven: She looked at the source. She hadn't been called that in a long time. "Thaddeus?"

Thaddeus: He slapped her. "Murderer! How could you? He was my father!And you - you're real name isn't even Benjamina Fletcher! You're a ghost! An assassin! I should kill you. But it's Christmas, so I'll stay my hand. If I ever see you again, you're dead." He left her lying on the sidewalk.

Raven: Ow. That hurt. Se got up and kept walking.

 

[Fairywings]

Raven kept walking down the street.

Person: "Mary!"

Raven: She sighed. Again? She turned around. "Louise."

Louise: She punched her. "I saw what you were. What you are. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen your face. All those things you said, about loyalty, and trust, and how we should seek information and share it - and you're a fraud. A hypocrite. You make me sick. I better never see your face again." She stormed off.

Raven: She bit her lip and moved on.

 

[Fairywings]

Person: "Mean Jean the Basketball Queen," She sneered.

Raven: She blinked, then turned to see one girl flanked by two others. "Piper, Marley, Elodie."

Piper: "Yeah, yeah, it's us."

Elodie: "All cool and nonchalant are we?"

Marley: "Like you aren't a serial killer and didn't abandon us?"

Piper: "Seems like you really lived up to your name, Meanie Jeanie. But that's okay. We don't need you. The team survived without you. And we got a player that's even better than you."

Marley: "So have fun playing in the gutters and spilling blood."

Elodie: "We're so much better than you'll ever be."

Trio: They left.

Raven: They didn't even touch her, so why did that hurt?

 

[Fairywings]

Raven: She kept walking, now on the route home.

Person: "Hey! Ursula! Wait!"

Raven: She turned around to see two boys and two girls running towards her. She stopped.

William: "It really is you!"

Anthony: "What happened to your eye?"

Irene: "Anthony! Tact!"

Mira: "It's good to see you!"

Raven: She smiled in spite of herself. "William, Anthony, Irene, Mira. It's nice to see you looking healthy."

Irene: "You remember us?"

Raven: "Of course I remember you."

William: "Thanks for getting us out of there. It's good to not be experimented on anymore."

Raven: "So you guys are safe?"

Anthony: "Yeah, those agent guys got us emancipated and an apartment that we share. We're going to be high school freshmen next year."

Raven: "That's great!"

Mira: "We couldn't have got this far without you. If you hadn't saved us, we'd never escaped."

Raven: "It was the right thing to to do."

Irene: "It's late, we better go before curfew."

William: "Yeah, let's go. Great to see you Miss Von Larsen!" He and Irene started to lead the other two away.

Anthony: "Wait, I never got an answer about her eye!" He wailed as his friends dragged him away.

Raven: She chuckled as they walked away. They were good kids, all four of them. It made her feel better that they'd had a positive response and didn't think of her as a monster.

Raven: She kept walking. She was walking by a store when the radio mentioned they were playing a Stars Fall song, from their first album. Raven stopped to listen to see if she would here her own voice.

Raven listened to the song. It was the one the other three worked on, the one he said was a surprise, that she couldn't listen to until the album came out. Unfortunately, she'd never gotten a chance to listen to it. Listening to it now, the beautiful words and his angelic voice, made her cry.

Person: "Did you like it? I did it just for you, you know."

Raven: She spun around. There was her band, three of her most favorite people in the world. Gabrielle, Reece, and her beloved Hunter. "How did you-"

Hunter: "I'd know the sound of your tears anywhere. Life was hard for you back in those days. Looks like it still is."

Raven: "Yeah, it is. Hi Hunter, Reece, Gabby."

Gabrielle: She smiled. "Hey Cari-girlie."

Reece: He grinned. "Been a whlie."

Hunter: "Hi." He took her hands and pulled her to him. They saw her up close. "Your eye." He reached out and caressed the scarring on her face. "Can you see out of it at all?"

Raven: "No."

Hunter: "You're still beautiful."

Raven: She blushed. "What are you guys doing here?"

Gabrielle: "Christmas in New York. What about you?"

Raven: "I live here."

Reece: "In NY? Cool."

Hunter: "I missed you."

Raven: "I missed you too. All of you."

Reece: "Come back."

Gabrielle: "Yeah, come back and play with us! We've never found a singer like you!"

Hunter: "It's not been the same without you."

Raven: "I don't think I can. It's really complicated right now."

Hunter: "Carmen-"

Raven: "I can't! Not right now!"

Hunter: He sighed, then looked up. "Mistletoe."

Raven: She looked up too. "So it is. Fine, I'll oblige you." She kissed him.

Hunter: He kissed her back, and didn't let her go.

Raven: She pulled back. "Wow." Her watch beeped. "I have to go back."

Hunter: "You'll know where to find us when you're ready to come back to me."

Raven: "I know. Thank you for the song. Merry Christmas everyone." She faded into the shadows and went back to the tower.

 

[Orreed]

Evelyn: "Wow Raven, you look smitten.", she smiled. "Finally got the Christmas spirit? Or more likely ran into a old friend I'm guessing. Also, what's the bruise on your elbow from. It looks fresh."

 

[Fairywings]

Raven: "None of it is actually your business, Evelyn."

 

[Orreed]

Raven: "None of it is actually your business, Evelyn."

Evelyn: "I still have the American right to ask."

Raven: "And I have the American right to not answer."

 

[Orreed]

Evelyn: "Indeed you do."

Evelyn: "Indeed you do."

Raven: "Well then, goodnight."

Evelyn: "Goodnight merry Christmas."

Raven: "Goodnight. Oh, and if anyone tires to wake me up before eleven, I'll kill them."

OOC: Conrad will wake her up anyway and she won't find the heart to kill him.

Jay: "Alright joyful!" Everyone began to trickle to bed.

Raven: "Jay, shut up and go kiss your girlfriend under mistletoe or something, I'm too tired for this."

Jay: "Well I'll never pass an opportunity to kiss my girlfriend." He kissed Hope and they settled on the couch, facing the skyline and watching everyone leave.

Hope: She kissed him back, silently thanking Raven.

Conrad: "Does that just happen?" he asked Mike and Evelyn about Jay and Hope.

Mike: "Yeah, they're like a fairytale couple, he's all but gotten her a promise ring."

Raven: She went to her room and took a shower. She changed into her pajamas and stared out the window reflectively. "And while she looks so sad in photographs, I absolutely love her, when she smiles," she sang in a whisper.

Hope: She kissed him back, silently thanking Raven.

Mike: "Yeah, they're like a fairytale couple, he's all but gotten her a promise ring."

Raven: She went to her room and took a shower. She changed into her pajamas and stared out the window reflectively. "And while she looks so sad in photographs, I absolutely love her, when she smiles," she sang in a whisper.

Evelyn: "Pretty much. The arrow ring is important though. Hope and Jay put all other couples to shame."

Jay: He overheard them."How can I NOT be head over heels for Hope? She's incredible."

June: She was Curled up in a chair near the couch. She looked very uncomfortable as Hope and Jay were acting all mushy.

Gordon: "I always thought we were romantic on Asgard. That's nothing compared to those two."

Logan: "You can say that again."
