Nick and Sharon's daughter on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS is going to be looking a little different very soon. Due to scheduling issues, Alyvia Alyn Lind will be unavailable for an upcoming summer storyline, so the soap has recast the role of Faith with Mckenna Grace. "I have a new little daughter now," says Sharon Case (Sharon). "She's very cute and sweet. She's not nervous at all. She didn't have to warm up. She's very confident and has a big personality." Look for Lind to make her final appearance on Tuesday, July 2, and Grace to debut on Friday, July 12.

I have to say I have been traveling since May 15th. I just got home last night and am back to watching Y&R and it was such a snoozefest today I only got half way through.

I remember the days when I was so excited to get my daily dose!

Now its been 3+ weeks and I am bored.

So many stars leaving, so many new ones, so many dumb s/l's. Ugh.

Apparently Sharon attends Summer's graduation party but is uncomfortable because it is a Newman event and Victor is there. She goes to sit at the bar and Carmine plays his card trick on her like he did Lauren. SOD pointed out that when Sharon is in a vulnerable place and when she's vulnerable she usually does something reckless that negatively affects her loved ones. It goes on to say that while she is there a gentleman shows up, spots her, and likes what he sees.

That's not Traci, it's Lee Philip Bell I think.

That's Lee Bell. She created Y&R along with her late husband Bill Bell. She's also LauraLee Bell's (Cricket) mom!

I Googled Lee Phillip Bell and her birth year isn't exact, either 1928 or 1929, so she is either 84 or 85. I don't think she is homely at all. She is much better looking than her daughter. I hope I look that good when I hit my 80's.

Ah, okay. Not Traci. I was trying to place a character on each of the people and if it had been Traci, then she would have looked a lot older than the character. If she is in her 80's, then yes, she looks great.

As previously reported by Nelson Branco in Soap Uncensored, “The Young and the Restless” was on the search to bring Tucker McCall back to Genoa City, but with a new face.

First originated by Stephen Nichols in 2009, we last saw of Tucker this year, but the character was apparently on his way back for Katherine Chancellor‘s funeral, which would then lead to a new story for the character.

Now, Soap Opera Digest has reported that “Y&R” has held off on searching for the Tucker recast. An insider mentioned that the reason behind this was because the show felt it would be “too distracting to bring a new face to the mix.”
