Ugh, ITA. But the whole Winters family drives me crazy in general. Leslie calls Neal uptight so now he only dresses like Mr Rogers for work?

Why Cane?? Is there a history there? Or is this just a writer's storyline of convenience to allow Lily to cheat?

There is no history. Nothing that I can remember. Today Jack told Neil that he wants jabot to go into the fashion business. That's how ChelC connects with Cane. He apparently falls for her designs.

I wonder if Chloe tells her to back off. She tried to play cane years ago. Blew up in her face.

Nikki/Victor: The plans for their wedding continue but @ the last minute Nikki gets some news that may cause her to call off the wedding.

Nick/Avery/Dylan: Avery is blindsided by Dylan's return. It will shake up her relationship w/ Nick.

Victoria/Billy: Despite some conflict over Newman, the two will remain close and romantic.

Chelsea/Adam/Sharon: JG describes, Sharon & Adam's relationship as toxic. Adam will have to decide if he wants to get involved w/ Sharon again or try to get Chelsea back.

Michael/Lauren/Fen: Michael takes a strong stand that threatens everything he has. It will have huge ramifications on for his family.

Leslie/Tyler/Lily/Cane: The Michaelsons are a part of a mystery that Congressman Wheeler figures into. It's gonna not only affect them but Lane as well as Nick & Avery.

Noah/Adriana/Kevin/Chloe: Noah & Adrianna are gonna clash over the money she stole. Kevin & Chloe are out for revenge after having the rug pulled out from under them where the money is concerned.

Now that Jack has detoxed, he's ready to get his life back on track which doesn't include Newman Enterprises. He still has a considerable amount of stock in the company but he is entrusting Adam to take care of things. Jack is putting the focus back on Jabot and making it a success so he adds a fashion department in which Neil will run. Peter thinks by adding a fashion department that it could lead to cross-overs with Bold and the Beautiful.

He stops by the Newman penthouse to see Nikki and thanks her for not letting Victor expose his addiction at the news conference. They share a "thoughtful" conversation about their addictions. PB says that after what Jack has been through he all the more understands what Nikki has struggled with.

Nikki totally understands what Jack went through not counting all the times that Jack has been there for her. It's obvious "that these two people still care a great deal about each other."

Victor barges in while Jack is with Nikki and is not pleased to see them together. PB says that "there is a comfort that Nikki has with Jack that clearly disturbs Victor a great deal."

Afterward, Nikki receives a phone call that will have her turning to Jack even more.

Victoria tries to convince Adam to give up Newman, he calls her out of on her hypocrisy since she played a role destroying Newman
Nikki calls her doctor for a follow up, lies to Victor about it. Nikki and Jack meet, they talk about their addiction, toll it took on Jack
Leslie and Tyler try to avoid running into the senator who is trying to convince Victor to get Avery to stop fighting a 12 yr old case
Lauren refuses to hear the truth bout Fen, storms out on Michael then goes to the bar to bond more with Carmine of all people

Next - Tucker is leaving Genoa City ; Sharon goes to Nick's club

It is so hard to narrow the list of Nikki's issues down to just one.

No idea, but cancer was the first thing that came to my mind. It has been a long time since someone in Genoa City had cancer. That story line is due to come round again.

I hear you!! This used to be a can't miss show for me. I can't even say how many I have not watched and not bothered to go back to catch up on later. It's just not the same any more, and not a wonder how the Soaps are a dying breed. All these new characters at once are a big turn off. The history is ignored, and the characters that made the show so important to me aren't featured or placed in dumb storylines. Sorry CBS, but I wouldn't miss it anymore.

I know this might be an unpopular thought BUT I applaud the effort of trying to get some new storylines in there (I just don't care much for the Winters family either.) There are only so many different ways that Jack and Victor can try to mess with each other (how many times has NE and/or Jabot changed hands over the years??) While I like that they will never be friends (or even frenemies) I don't need it to be the only storyline either.

As for the Winters, if they are going to try and give them a compelling storyline, then PLEASE give us something to sink our teeth into. Don't start a storyline tease and then drop it. Either let them have it 100% or don't bother. (and quite honestly, I am getting that way with Devon. DON'T BOTHER!!! His character bores me to tears.)

Honestly, I am looking forward to the drama that Tyler/Lily and potentially Cane/Chelsea can bring. I am sick of Lily always being the "good girl" who looks down on everyone. But so help me, if she cheats too and then plays the victim if Cane does it after....

I am also looking forward to Dylan/Avery/Nick/Sharon triangle that has been hinted at.

I agree the Adrianna/Noah/Dirty Cop thing has been handled poorly. I think that storyline could have had an interesting potential, but it took WAY too long to roll out and now I don't care. (I also don't care for the casting job they did for her.)

I've been watching since 1986, so I am not willing to cross it off my list yet. There is definitely some things happening that I applaud the new writers for. But I feel that have a very short window to make or break the show, and I am hoping for "make it..."

Adam tells Sharon what happened, what his plans are and asks if she'll join him against Victor. Sharon tells Adam she will help him

I am thoroughly convinced they put out a casting call for Carmine..... 20 or so, male, race unimportant, and hired every young man who walked through the door. Carmine, Noah, Fen, the man who lives outside Jack's office, Leslie's brother, the cop from NY. aren't there a few more too? Surely one will sweep up Sharon. Nicki will have a brain tumor or a preterm birth and a young man from the cattle call will be cast for those parts. Probably an elevator repairman to rescue Nicki when she has the baby in the elevator. A cop to work the wreck Victor has heading to rescue Nicki on his way home from the Abbot Cabin.
