It's Abby's birthday, Jack, Traci and Kyle are at the Abbotts with plans to celebrate Abby's birthday later. Traci tells Jack that Billy wants to go to grief counseling. Jack is surprised, but will support his brother. The birthday girl arrives. Her mom sent her a purse from Milan. Abby thanks her family but tells them she already has plans for the night. Jack and Traci understands and Kyle walks her out. Jack then talks to Traci about the stress he's been under since Delia died. He tells her about Neil being his sponsor. Jack would like to spend more time with his family. Kyle is listening to their conversation. He also hears his dad say that he wants to use Devon to spy on Victor. After Jack leaves the room Kyle tells his aunt that he didn't know his dad was struggling. Traci tells him the family needs to come up with a way to help Jack deal with his stress.

Cane and Lily have "sexy time" in the club sauna. They make plans for their future.

Tyler and Noah are at the GCAC. Tyler admits his love for Abby was a surprise and he wants to do something special for her birthday. Victor is listening and tells Tyler that his plans for Abby will have to wait. She will be spending her evening with her family. Tyler stands up to Victor. But Victor shoots him down anyway praising him for taking care of himself now that his parents are gone. But family comes first. Abby comes in and Victor gives her his gift. It's a plaque. "Abigail Newman Vice President of Lifestyles". Victor tells her that he wants her to come to Newman/Chancellor. Abby once again turns him down telling him she doesn't want to be in the middle of Newman Abbott drama. She leaves with Tyler. Jack and Kyle are watching and jack angrily confronts Victor, accusing him of trying to take his niece away. Things get heated, Jack learns Abby turned down the offer, he brings up how Victor chases his kids away. Nick, Adam, Abby and one day soon Noah will leave him too. Afterwards, Kyle notices how Victor upset his dad. He tells him that HE will be their mole at Newman!

Tyler takes Abby to chancellor park. He set up a picnic for her. After spending some time together, Abby goes to get some hot chocolate. Tyler checks his phone and sees that he missed several calls from his ex Mariah.

Summer asks Courtney if she's using drugs. Courtney denies everything. Summer reminds Courtney that she has never been to her house and she believes she's hiding things. She also tells Courtney that Noah also thinks she's acting weird. Noah walks in and summer leaves. Courtney asks Noah if there is anything he wants to know. Noah asks her about her family. Courtney tells him that she needs time.

Next

Tyler has one more gift for Abby, "it's shiny, sparkly and one of a kind."

Victor tells Adam that his son will always be a Newman. Then turns to Sharon telling her that she will never be a Newman again.

Jack won't allow his son to work for Victor Newman.

YOUNG & RESTLESS: The latest going round is that we will see Carmen again but is it really Carmen or his twin? Oh brother here we go can’t TPTB think if anything besides copying stories from the past and even present from other shows for that matter. Will this twin continue to torment the Baldwins or will he be the good one? In either case I don’t like the sound of this in terms of what it may mean for Michael and Lauren. Christine is determined to help Michael no matter what happens…..Nikki shares her plans with Paul to tell her family the secret she has been keeping all these years but what will Paul have to do to make sure everything goes as planned…..Furious that Victor owns Chancellor, Jack and Jill decide to team up against Victor, this may just be the key to taking down the evil one………..This outbreak of young people dying in Genoa City surely challenges the odds. I for one will not watch any more children die it’s very depressing. Why can’t TPTB think of something like going off to boarding school, a modeling career anything else but sadness and death.

DH and I have watched the Y&R for as long as we have bee married. Just over 20 yrs. With the way the writing has changed and the storylines evolved, we stopped watching "cold turkey" 3 weeks ago. Other that Honey's posts here and there, we have taken the Y&R out of our routine.

And are glad for it! I thought it would be harder to do than it was. So now I am ready to cut the last tie: this thread. But I just wanted to thank Honey for all the contributions. It was good while it lasted

I have not been watching it either and have taken it off my DVR...but I do come here to see what HD is posting about...seems I am not missing a thing....

Chloe is spending a lot of time with Connor which starts to worry Kevin. Adam begins talking to Billy via the forums.

Kevin goes to see Adam about Chloe and Connor. They get into an debate about whether the driver saw Delia or not.

Adam realizes while talking that his laptop with the board is still up. Kevin doesn't think anything of it but gets an idea and leaves.

He goes back to work and talks to Paul and Alex about searching the internet to see if the driver is bragging about the hit and run.

They warn Kevin that he could compromise the case with his "research" but Kevin doesn't care and is determined to find Delia's killer.

So I guess this is the set up to get Adam off once the truth (or whatever) comes out. Kevin is going to mess it up. Technicalities...

Roxanne returns to GC [Nov 19] and is pressuring Devon to settle down. He suspects his new fortunes has her in a rush and she is offended.

Nick and Dylan's rivalry heats up as Dylan starts spending more time around Sharon and Faith.

Faith tells Dylan she wants a dollhouse and Dylan says that he will build her one. This infuriates Nick who planned on getting her one.

Nick makes his feelings known to Dylan who defends himself. Nick feels Dylan is too involved with the women in his life, especially Faith.

Nikki continues to struggle with telling her family the truth. She decides to invite everyone to dinner at the GCAC to drop the news.

MTS says Nikki is under the delusion that her family will accept Dylan out of respect for her.

Back at the Abbotts, Kyle tells his dad that he wants to help him bring Victor down. Jack refuses telling him that its bad enough Summer is caught in the middle. Kyle disagrees, he's an Abbott, he wants to do this for his family. Hilary stops by with some paperwork. Jack introduces Kyle to his new assistant. After Jack leaves to take a call, Kyle and Hilary chat about possible moles. Jack comes back and tells Kyle to leave. He tells Hilary that he wants to use the mole strategy, but he doesn't want his children involved in fighting his battles.

Abby and Tyler are still at Chancellor Park. She picks up on his mood change. She even notices the missed calls on his phone from Mariah, she dismisses it because Tyler obviously ignored the calls from her. Tyler brings out another surprise from his picnic basket. He made her a homemade peach cobbler! Before they can even enjoy it, Mariah calls again. This time Abby tells Tyler to take care of it and steps away to give him some privacy. Tyler tells Mariah that they are not getting back together. Abby hears him say, "Yeah, I love her a lot, so please stop calling me." Tyler ends his call and Abby walks up to him telling him this was the best birthday ever. Tyler tells her that there's still one more suprise. A sparkly shinny and one of a kind. He brings out a telescope and shows her a star that he bought for her telling her, "when we're not together, I will look up and be home. That's what you are to me." She LOVES her gift. They kiss.

Adam is in his SUV, listening to the radio announcer talk about the investigation for Delia Abbott's murder.

Victor see's Sharon at the GCAC. He accuses her of using Faith to get Nick back. Sharon tells him that he's wrong and she doesn't care what he thinks of her. Victor tells her that she doesn't deserve to be a parent. Adam chimes in..."And you do?" Victor giggles and mentions that his sons are always there to rescue Sharon. Adam tells his dad to stop sending gifts to Connor. Victor tells Adam that his son will always be a Newman, but Sharon will never be a Newman again. Afterwards, Sharon thanks Adam for rescuing her. Adam calls his father a bully, but he wants to know what's going on with her and Nick. Sharon tells him they are just friends.

Leslie sets up a romantic candle lit evening for Neil. She surprises him with dinner...its in the oven.They talk about the wheels of justice slowly turning. It took 12 years to find out who killed her mom. Neil hopes it wont take 12 years to find Delia's killer. Leslie talks about Tyler calling her asking for a pie recipe. They joke about Tyler being head over heals for Abby. Leslie believes that both she and Tyler have found love, they kiss, but the smoke alarm starts going off. Leslie burned her meatloaf!

Later, Neil and Leslie go the GCAC to order dinner. Hilary is also there and she gives Neil an update on her new job. Neil steps away order some meatloaf. Hilary meets Sharon at the bar. The two bond over their pasts.

Jack and Adam meet at the penthouse to discuss their plan to bring Victor down. Adam gives him the latest news on Connor's health and ChelC moving in. Adam worries about having Victor Newman's blood, and worries if he will be a good dad. Jack reassures him that he will be a much better father then Victor Newman.

Kyle goes to the Ranch to see Victor. He asks him for a job telling him that his dad is treating him like a kid. Victor doesn't buy it and thinks Kyle has an ulterior motive. Kyle tells him that he's sick of being Jack Abbotts son and he wants to be his own man. Victor tells him he will let him know tomorrow. Afterwards, Victor's PI calls telling him that there were no black SUV's with license plates starting with "G". Victor reminds his PI that it was dark. So look at license plates starting with the number "6".

Next:

Billy and Victoria attend a grief counsel meeting with other grieving parents.

Avery wants to know why Leslie confronted Nikki Newman about Dylan

ChelC is ranting and raving about Delia's hit and run to Adam. He yells at her, "ENOUGH...PLEASE!"

Billy and Vitoria are at the support group. They hear about how a woman lost her son to a hit and run. Billy can’t bring himself to talk so Victoria shares what happened. Later Billy and Victoria share some memories of Delia. After Victoria goes upstairs Billy looks at the gun he bought. He goes on the computer were he sees a message to his blog post (from Adam but he doesn’t know that) that maybe the person who hit Delia is paying. Billy tells himself he’s not paying but he sure will be.

Dylan and Chelsea run into each other they have a heart to heart and talk about Conner.

Adam has a dream of a scared Delia in a back of a Van. He wakes up and loses it on Chelsea when she brings up Delia. Adam tells her he wants Answers as much as she does about what happened to Delia. He tells her Delia should be alive not dead.
Kevin and Chloe have lunch together. They talk about Conner and how hard it must be for her to be around him. Choler tells him she can’t tell Chelsea that because right now she needs work. Later she asks Chelsea to meet up with her so they can work.

Sharon and Nick talk Faith to CL after her art show. Faith broke her arm and they decide to treat her. Nick tells Faith no to new doll house. Faith later tells Dylan how much she wants a new Doll house and Dylan decides to make her one.

Next
Billy on the computer again. Victoria tells him her father was right. Billy loses his temper.

Tristan Rogers, who will last be seen on "General Hospital" during February Sweeps, will be reprising his role of Colin Atkinson on "Y&R," according to Soap Opera Digest. Rogers' character won't be seen in Genoa City for a few months, but when he does he will be sharing scenes with Jess Walton's Jill.

Victoria is in her bedroom looking at a photo of Billy. She strongly believes her husband is starting to come out of it. Meanwhile, downstairs, Billy and Adam are still chatting back and forth in the chat room. Billy said that the guy who killed his daughter should confess, to ease his guilt. Adam responds saying its not that easy. Billy tells him that he doesn't give a damn. Adam then replies that the guy who hit DD was human and probably looking in the mirror is punishment enough. Then saying that DD is in heaven and the driver is living in hell. Billy replies: "My kid is dead, the driver is still breathing...That's justice?" Adam, "Maybe his suffering can be your solace. So you can move on."

Victoria is now standing beside Billy reading the comments and she is frustrated seeing that Billy is still in this dark place. She tells him that she and Johnny need him, but all he can do is focus on his anger and rage. Billy is crying now and tells his wife that he's lost but he's trying.

Dylan surprises Avery with a piece of tree carved with their initials from when they were younger. He tells her that it will remind them that life could be good again. Dylan tells her that he went through his parents belongings. Avery asks him if he learned something new. He tells her no, saying he's glad his parents were exactly who he thought them to be.

At the GCPD, Nikki tells Paul that she's ready to tell everyone the truth, that she's Dylan's mother. Her mind was made up when she hugged him at the benefit. She tells him she needs to tell her family first, but she believes the news will upset Victor. Paul is supportive, their convo moves onto Ian Ward, the cult leader. Paul reminds her that she has nothing to be ashamed of. Nikki thanks him for being a good friend.

Nick and Sharon are at her place talking about Dylan and Avery. Nick is frustrated saying Dylan is EVERYWHERE. Sharon tells him that Dylan has been through alot. They then talk about their new found friendship. Faith walks in and Nick tells her that Santa knows which dollhouse she wants. Nick also thinks Faith had intuition about Avery. Dylan stops by with a gift...a blueprint for a dollhouse! Faith is excited...but her daddy is pissed. Nick accuses him of playing hero and trying to impress Avery. Dylan tells Nick that he has it all wrong, but Nick doesn't want to hear it, he demands he stay away from his daughter. After Dylan leaves, Sharon tells Nick that HE is Faith's daddy. Nick understands, but he wants Dylan to stay away from his family.

Kevin goes to the penthouse looking for ChelC. He tells Adam he doesn't think its good for Chloe to be around Connor right now. They talk about Delia's case. Adam tells him that maybe the driver didn't know he hit Delia. Kevin tells him that he's seen the police file, the driver pulled over after Delia was hit. Adam agree's to talk to ChelC about Connor and Chloe. Kevin tells him he WILL catch the driver who killed Delia.

Avery and Nikki are at Chancellor Park. Nikki tells Avery that she's ready to tell her family and Dylan the truth. Avery tells her that its not a good idea right now. She believes it will be hard for Dylan. Dylan walks up. Nikki makes up a quick excuse to leave. After she leaves, Dylan tells her about the argument with Nick. Nikki is standing near by, she's on the phone making a reservation for the Newman family on Friday.

At the GCPD Paul announces they are bringing in a profiler for Delia's case. Kevin mentions maybe the killer is on the web bragging about the hit and run. Paul reminds Kevin that he's supposed to stay away from the investigation. Kevin says, "The internet is my hobby."

Billy types something and slams his laptop closed and heads off to bed. He tries to make love to his wife, but he can't. Back at the penthouse, Adam reads Billy's latest post, "Delia's killer hasn't even begun to suffer."

YOUNG & RESTLESS: Is it the end for Billy Miller again? It’s contract time again and it’s the same old same old should I stay or should I go. My vote GO!!!!!! Miller was one of those recast that worked and worked really well. Only a few others in daytime have been able to pull that off. Billy signed on last time for a short-term contract right before JFP became EP. Did he know something we didn’t? I think he has every chance to make it in prime time. He was excellent in a lifetime movie where he played a killer, and also was great in Ringer (where he played another killer), and a few other primetime shows and the big screen could be not far behind. So it’s a wait and see for now, as much as I would hate to lose this 2 time Emmy winner (with a 3rd not far behind) I think it’s time he spread his wings, he deserves it!…Its been rumored that Tristan Rogers may be returning but not permanently as he may do dual roles on GH and YR, with no contract and only recurring actors have the luxury to do this. But they can not be on ether show at the same time so the story goes unless approved by TPTB. Guess that’s a wait and see as well…….During the live MTS/JW live twitter chat JW said there will be a totally unexpected surprise in Jill’s storyline. Some think Colin will return but I am hearing it has to do with Katherine’s bequest.

Devon and Jack are talking. Jack apologizes for trying to use him as bait for Victor. Jack also uses the time to remind Devon not to trust Victor. Devon agrees to disagree. Devon gets a call from his bank notifying him of some charges on his account. He storms out. John comes to Jack telling him to stop the games with Victor Newman. He needs to focus on Billy and Summer. Saying "Nobody wins" he needs to focus on family and less on business.

Cane and Lily are at On the boulevard planning their future. He tells her has something planned but he wants to surprise her. Roxy (Devons long time girlfriend) comes in. She tells Lily that she has a big surprise Devon. Before she could tell her what it was, Devon burst in confronting Roxy over a large charge on his credit card. She looks upset and tells him she wanted to surprise him with a condo for the 2 of them. Devon lashes out accusing her of being a golddigger saying she never showed any interest living with him before he became a billionaire. Roxy is in tears and walks off. Lily is also angry at her brother. Afterwards, Devon realized that he overreacted but Roxy tells him that it's too late, she cancelled the deal on the condo, and tells him she now knows where she stands with him.

Cane whisks his wife away to show her something.

Christine and Paul are alone in his office looking at the Baldwins cases. All of the evidence is showing Fen shot Carmine. Paul suggests sending the napkin in with Lauren's DNA in for testing hoping to release Michael.

At the prison, Michael is out of solitary. Father and son meet up. Fen tells him that he's working with the warden, trying to strike a deal to get him out. Michael demands Fen stop talking to the warden and tells him to not strike a deal with anyone. Michael tells him it's his job to protect him. Later Womack tells Fen he wants him to sit at his dinner table.

Lauren and Jill are at the GCAC discussing Lauren's family issues. Jill even tells Lauren about a judge she used to date, thinking they could bribe him to get Michael and Fen out. Lauren of course turns her down but she thanks her for the giggles. Lauren then asked Jill if she found anything out in Switzerland. Jill says it was a waste of time. The only thing she discovered was the name of the lullaby in the music box "Ballerina". Lauren tells her sister to keep looking. Meanwhile across the room Jill notices Victor talking to Kyle, she tells Lauren about their plan to bring Victor down.

Kyle is telling Victor that his dad doesn't take him seriously at Jabot and he convinces Victor to hire him after giving him some ideas on the Lifestyle division at Newman/Chancellor.

Later Victor calls his assistant telling them to give Kyle complete access to the company. But he also makes it clear that he doesn't trust Kyle.

Later Kyle tells Jack and Jill about his new job at Newman/Chancellor. Jack, "Do you think Victor doesn't know what you're up to?"

Y&R confirmed this morning. Billy Miller is out and the role has already been recast. David Tom (ex Billy Abbott) has been recast to replace Billy Miller!

I'm not happy with this recast. I remember when David Tom played Billy over a decade ago. Even though he won an Emmy for his portrayal of Billy, he wasn't my fav. Plus I don't think he will fit in well with Amelia's "Victoria". Billy Miller brought Billy Abbott back to life, it will be hard for me to see anyone else in that role. David Tom comes from a talented family. Heather Tom (B&B Katie & Y&R's ex Victoria) is his older sister..
