Nikki is scrambling to get ready for her Veterans benefit later that evening. Victor tells her that she's overworked, she needs to cut back on her entertaining. Nikki talks about the Vets she's been meeting with, telling him that this means alot to her. Victor agrees that its an excellent charity. Saying she's doing a wonderful thing, but reminds her to take it easy and not overdo it. After Nikki leaves, Victor gets a phone call from his PI. Victor, "Oh my goodness, I want this case solved. Whoever did the hit and run has got to be found." He then learns that there was an eye witness!
Nick and Sharon are at Crimson Lights. Nick hands Sharon her missing bracelet. Sharon asks him where he found it. Nick tells her, "In my blankets..." Avery walks in and hears Nick's response. She quickly goes to the patio and listens in on their convo. Sharon thanks Nick for last night and offers to buy him some coffee. Nick tells her that he's busy preparing for his mom's benefit. Sharon understands and walks away. Avery then comes out of hiding and confronts Nick. "You and Sharon? SERIOUSLY?" She then stops herself from saying anything further. Avery, "You don't owe me anything." Nick responds, "Thats right, I don't" and leaves the coffee house. Sharon then goes to Avery and tells her she and Nick were locked in a freezer, her bracelet was in the blanket she used. Sharon also tells her that she and Nick are just friends. Avery doesn't care, and walks away.
Dylan and Stitch are at the park tossing a football. They are talking about the Veterans day festivities (a parade and Nikki's benefit). Dylan tells him that he's not going. He thinks he doesn't deserve to be there. Stitch doesn't want to hear it, he believes these events will help the other men and women who served. He owes it to them to be there. Later, Avery finds Dylan at the park and convinces him to go the events with her!
Jack and Jill meets with Devon at the GCAC. They want him to team up with them to bring Victor down. Before he can answer, Hilary walks in and Devon shoots them down and immediately leaves.
ChelC wonders if Adam has an update on Delia's killer. She tells him that they both owe Chloe and Billy.
Billy is at home surfing the web. Victoria tells him that she's taking Johnny to the Veterans parade. Billy thanks her for not pressuring him to go to the parade, he doesn't think he can handle the crowd and the noise. Victoria understands and walks out. Billy is on a website for parents who lost their children.
Here's what he typed:
"My little girl was taken from me by a hit and run driver. How do I get the justice I need? How do I make the person pay?"
Billy is later seen at a target range.
ChelC runs into Victoria at the park. ChelC tells her about Adam using his connections to find Delia's killer. Victoria goes directly to Adams to thank him for the extra help. She tells him about Billy's behavior and that he spends most of his time surfing the web. After she leaves, Adam goes online and finds the out what Billy has been doing.
Everyone is gathering at Nick's club for Nikki's event. Victor surprises everyone when he announces a new program has been started, offering jobs for Vets at Newman/Chancellor. Dylan and Avery arrive in time to hear Nikki's speech.
