The Young and The Restless .. Take 5 .. Spoilers Welcome!

What a huge let down today seeing the Newman ranch  That certainly is not even close to what I would call a "mansion" :rolleyes1

Indeed, and it seemed configured like Victoria and Billy's place because the stairs weren't to the right of the living like at the "old" ranch, they were to the left of the front door, behind the sofa like in Victoria's (dreadful) house. Guess we'll be lookig at those HUGE candlesticks for a long time.

I am so glad I am not the only one who felt that way!! (When they "rushed" it, I had visions of Cassandra/Brad's house post fire all over again...)

I think the penthouse was beautiful and this was just blah...

So who do you think will be moving into the penthouse? Nick? Kyle?

I kind of like Victoria's House (not the purple walls of course!) but I am looking forward to whatever update their decorator does.

Let's just hope the Chancellor mansion is the next one to get updated!!! :crazy2:

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks the new ranch house is totally blah. Looks like CBS has the show on a really tight, tight budget these days. My place looks more ritzy (unbelievably!).

Oh well, if I want to see gorgeous mansions, I'll watch Downton Abbey!

Fen listens to Christine and Kevin, he talks to Michael. Fen takes responsibility for his actions and is ready to make up for the damage caused, Michael admits where he went wrong too. The two have a breakthrough which brings them closer than ever
Lauren cancels plans with Jill and is unable to get her mind off Carmine, it doesn't help matters when she goes to the bar to see him. In the end, Carmine goes to her suite and the two have sex
Sharon calls Nick and explains what happened, he joins the search for Faith. Faith is found by Dylan, Sharon is right her daughter does have a crush on him. Nick is grateful to Dylan
Lily plans a romantic evening for Cane but those plans are ruined when he stays back at work to convince Chelsea to stay. Tyler uses this to his advantage, goes to see Lily. This ends with Lily and Cane fighting

Next - Lauren wakes up with Carmine ; Billy questions Jack's feelings for Phyllis, wants to know if it has to do with Nikki getting married ; More Lily and Cane drama

My husband noticed today when Nick told Victor about Avery's car he never told him what happen but Victor said "someone cut the brake lines". We repeated it twice and Nick never told him but Victor said it....so, do we think this is Victor's work again?

Then he notices that Chelsea walks out of the coffee house and then next shot she's walking back in with a different pocketbook. I'm now calling him Paul Willliams.

It's possible with TGVN. But what's funny I Nick didn't pick up on it. I swear that man is adorable, dumb as a post tho.

I think Tyler slashed her tires. I also think he killed his mom. He just seems really weird. Obsessed with Lily.

Also. I know it's a long shot but what Phyllis? We all know she's capable and she really pissed at Avery right now.

I like the Tyler idea! :thumbsup2
Next he can kidnap Lily so she can continue in the victim role

I think that Wheeler killed Leslie's Mom. He was so cold about his own dd's death, seemed like he was more than capable. Their Dad probably figured it out in prison, too.

Did someone go accessory shopping at the $ Store? How uncreative and uninspired can one get? All sorts of art schools around LA and that is what we get? Maybe someone should send them some Pottery Barn catalogues for some ideas on "sophisticated cabin" or "rustic chic" decor. What a let down!

Nick was the only person who read the paternity papers that said HE was Summers bio dad. Not jack. It was during that time that Nicks plane crashed and he lost his memory. But when he read those papers he remembered his time with Phyllis and wanted a life with her and their daughter. So is it possible that he LIED to everyone about Summer being his?

I remember that scene because I was hoping she was jacks. So I paid close attention to who read those results. Nick was the only person who saw them. Phyllis and jack believed Nick and let it go.

I still think also that she will turn out to be Jacks....and would be a dramatic story line if it turns out to be true...just like with Victoria and who was it again? that turned out to be her brother? so long ago...cant remember the name only the face and story...and since the writers have this thing of re doing stories this would be one that would work....but if they go the same wat s Kyle and her getting married and so on drawing it out ...it will get boring.

I think its Wheeler.....100% and the husband was just standing over her body....

I missed seeing the ranch..i have been getting so tired of the stories that I am recording and then just deleting shows and watching a couple a week... so its that bad ha...shame....

and Lauren???? WTH is she doing??? and what are the eriters thinking???? this has been a couple that as she said when she was leaving so close and loving....so because of the issue with her son she beds another man that easy...really!!! that is a bit unbelievable....:crazy2:

Christina :crazy2:

is Chelsea leaving the show for a while? or are they just using it as part of the story and she is going know where?

Also....if Chelsea goes the way of Cane...I don't think for one minute anyone will by it....unless she sleeps with him or drugs him and says they slept together and turns into her trashy mom...fine...make another woman on the show week and have no sense....

I've been thinking a long time that Wheeler was the killer. My theory is that she worked for him and he was "seeing" her by threatening her. Finally, she decided to expose him and he killed her. Her husband might have been no saint but I don't think he did it at all. I think that when Avery gets close to solving it all, Wheeler will come to her and confess as he is trying to kill her. Super Nick and Dylan will show up just in time to save the princess.

A little vent here, but what child would run away if her mother was hurt? Doesn't make any sense to me. And Tracey Bregman seriously needs a new hairstyle. She is pushing 50 and tries to look 20. She is beautiful and has a great figure, but her hair is a mess. Lauralee Bell has the same hair problem. She is younger but her face is so long that hairstyle makes it look longer. Where are the stylists?
I'm, also, not impressed with the new Newman ranch. It would be appropriate for Victoria and Billy, but not for the almighty Victor Newman. It looks like a home anyone of us would choose.

Kyle will finally realize Summer is crushing on him. He doesn't want to admit it so he doesn't say anything about it. He wants to believe that they are just friends. Summer then approaches Jack for an internship at Jabot. Jack asks her is this for Kyle but she lies and says that she has interest in make-up. When Kyle finds out he begs Jack to stick her with Neil in the fashion division. After Summer finds this out she strokes Jack’s ego by saying she wants to learn from the best. King says Summer is not going to stop until she gets what she wants.

The ex-Danny Romalotti Jr. is jumping to a prime time soap.
Michael Graziadei, the actor who played the character of Danny on CBS’ The Young and the Restless from 2004 to this year, has been cast in the ABC pilot Venice. He will play Josh, the son of Gordy Nance (Bruce Greenwood), who is described as a rising star in his father’s company and who is poised to take over the family business.
The pilot from Executive Producers McG, Byron Balasco, Ilene Chaiken and Peter Johnson is a prime time soap about the haves and have-nots of Venice, CA. It will focus on two rival families and a forbidden and dangerous romance emerging between them as the two families battle for control of Venice.
Others cast to date are Jennifer Beals (Lisa Carver) and Odette Annable (Sophie Nance).
Graziadei’s credits include stints in Justified, The Mob Doctor and American Horror Story: Asylum. His last appearance on Y&R was in January.

Most knew her from "One Day At A Time" But she was also on Y&R last year. She was Sister Celeste when Victor was in California. R.I.P

(Reuters) - Actress Bonnie Franklin, who starred as the harried single mother of two teenage girls on the 1970s and '80s television comedy "One Day at a Time," died on Friday at 69 from complications from pancreatic cancer, the CBS network said.

Franklin, a petite redhead, had acted on Broadway before being cast as divorcee Ann Romano on the show, which debuted in December 1975 and ran for nine seasons on CBS. It co-starred Valerie Bertinelli and Mackenzie Phillips as her two head-strong daughters.

The show reflected the changing landscape of U.S. television at the time, with networks abandoning the perfect sitcom families of earlier decades like those on "Leave It to Beaver" (1957-1963) and "Father Knows Best" (1954-1960).

Franklin previously earned a Theatre World Award and a Tony nomination for her work in the 1970 Broadway musical "Applause." She was nominated for an Emmy in 1982 for her performance on "One Day at a Time."

Her family disclosed last September that Franklin was being treated for pancreatic cancer.
