We have been super careful about our spending money. The credit from Disney is still not in my bank account. I've been calling on my cell several times a day. And remember, we can't go over $500 so I've been keeping track of everything. So far, I've charged 3 All Star Mugs & 3 kids meals. $60. Not bad for a day at Disney.

This morning, we have an 8:00 a.m. PS at Breakfastasaurus. I had purchased breakfast vouchers for this meal so no money is going on the room charge this morning! No sir.

I had a mediocre opinion of this meal from our trip last time. I am happy to report that our meal this time was very good. The food was nice and fresh at 8 a.m. and we were done eating before the rope drop in Dinoland. We knock out Dinoland and head over to the Safari. We get a FP and take the train to Rafiki. Remember, today I am trying not to wear everyone out. I do not stress when we just miss the train and they announce it will be 10 minutes til the next one. I embrace this moment to sit in the sun with my children and wait for the train.

We explore the exhibits and watch a bird having a checkup. DH disappears and comes back sporting a new pair of shades. He charged $19 for sunglasses because apparently his shades are on vacation at home with the extra shoes and camera. Are you crazy? You can't spend like that. I have a fit about a stupid pair of plastic shades. I worked so hard to pay for this trip and I am mad that I have to be upset at DH for spending $19!

We take the train back and it's time for the Safari but noone wants to do it. We happily bestow 6 Fastpasses on perfect strangers and walk away. We come across Lilo & Stitch. Crap, no camera. I dash into the store conveniently adjacent to the character meet & greet and carlessly plunk down my room charge for a disposable camera. We can't go thru this trip with no photos. No way.

We come across DeVine and watch her for a few minutes. Ok, enough relaxing. Moving on, we see Flights of Wonder. That's a nice show. See, a SHOW. More sitting. Relaxing. Good girl.

The Kali River was a walkon at 12:45 p.m. We ride it and DH gets soaked. Haha. That'll show you for spending so much money. :guilty:

After Kali, we decide we're hungry but not enough for a whole meal so we stop for Mickey bars. The room key reader is down so we can't buy mickey bars there. I decide we should see what time FOTLK starts because I don't want to buy ice cream and then miss the show while we eat it. We walk over to the theater & since the show is starting in 30 minutes we jump in line. Kids start with "You said we were getting ice cream. When are we getting ice cream? I'm thirsty." AHHHH!!! After the show, the boys want their ice cream and they want to do the boneyard. DH elects to take them to do both and DD & I head back to the hotel. She and I share a voucher at the hotel and get chicken w/fries, a side of chili cheese fries, a soda and a banana split. We sit outside by the pool and eat our chili cheese fries and ice cream and feel like queens. :earboy2: DH spent $14 or so on Mickey bars. More reckless spending. :guilty:

We all meet up at the hotel & head for Magic Kingdom around 5. The park is open til 10 tonight so we pick up our wristbands and have fun. We don't wait for anything all night. We walked on to Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, Buzz, Big Thunder, did all of Toontown & Fantasyland before 10pm. We charged $10 for 5 waters at Magic Kingdom.

Back at the hotel, I send DH to the food court with our mugs and he brings back a large pizza. Those of us that are still awake share the pizza and go to sleep immediately, happy.

Today was a great day. Tomorrow, TROUBLE!!! http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=723479

I am really enjoying the reports. Come on post some more! Okay, 4 kids and a husband can keep one busy, but I need to know what happens next! :)

I feel your pain!! When we went, my charge card didnt credit my last payment (in full) they take 7 - 14 days to make that credit!! WHAT? So I totally stressed with every cent!! Glad I'm not alone!

I am laughing out loud so loudly my family thinks I am crazy!! This could be me writing this report. We have 4 kids also 3 boys and 1 girl ages 12,10,7,5 (will be this year) and every trip we take I am budgeting to the penny like you all. And I know the feeling of wanting to ride anything with no wait and not stopping for anything except that which enhances the value of a park ticket. I think it is a thing with parents of more than 3 children. What dates were you all there? I have to know all of your budget and how many vouchers you have gotten!! You must be the queen of budgetin!! Did you find the vouchers worth it? We used a few of them on a trip in 2003 and we seemed to get our money's worth even at the food court at all star sports. My DH had to buy a pair of glasses at Blizzard Beach our last trip and I totally could not believe that he charged them on our room key when he had his own cash!! Do you all usually stay in 2 rooms at All stars? We did that before and seems like it is best option. I am hoping to upgrade to 2 rooms at moderate in 2006, but I don't know if we'll be able to budget for it. Oh, I am loving how so far at the end of the day it was a magical one!! I am on to the next part!!
