Elaine...you know how I feel about all NutraSweet products...! Wicked headaches...I'll never do that again. But I DO find sugary sodas too sweet so I always buy seltzers and throw a shot in my soda. All the fizz, half the sugar.

I do have to write my column yet - you know me so well.... don't you?? I have it figured out in my head - it will be titled: "When Did She Grow?" a take on the Fiddler On The Road song, "Sunrise, Sunset.." about my DD graduating from HS

Alan - dang it - bungee cord - didn't know we needed one of those - so that's why we've been losing (RIP) so many YaYas......

Splenda products are better They aren't supposed to stall weight gain.
They are in the Diet Rite sodas and I believe Hanson (not sure on that)....but the WISH board is just full of informative information

You can borrow my DD....she is supposed to move back here the end of June Believe it or not, you get used to having them gone. You get a new routine going and they interupt it!

Diet soda... ack. I don't drink a lot of it, but when I do have soda, I gotta admit I prefer the diet. The other is just too sweet for me. My MIL has made it her in mission in life to remind me each and every time she sees me, that diet soda "rots your brain". But of course, if you manage to escape the brain rotting, the cancer cells it causes are sure to do you in. ARGH!!!! Due to her constant "gentle reminders" I rarely drink it now, but when she's here, I have to admit, I do enjoy having one in front of her. Mwahahaha!

Splenda! Yes! Good stuff! Another alternative is Stevia.
