Hi all!!

I finally have time to post from the shower!!! Nancy we were chatting for about a little over an hour!! Then I had to save my mother from my son! hehehe He was in need of some attention!! I am going to post all the party pics. Sorry if it takes up too much space...shep warning...long post coming!

This is from Tigerlily, the blanket is absolutely beautiful! It's hand made and I'm dying to know if Lily crocheted it herself!! It became the back drop for all of my pictures because it is so beautiful!!

This little cuties is from Kristy!! Jarrod and my mom swiped him from me to play with him. You squeeze his feet and he plays tunes. If you follow the directions in the little tag you can play "Twinkle Twinkle" and Mary had a little lamb!! Kristy said Derek tried to swipe it too!!

These are from Todd, Amanda, and the girls. I love this kind of bib because there are no strings to fight with or velcro to get filthy!!! I looked at the outfit and could just see some little fat legs sticking out!!! I think this one will be a fatty! Jarrod loved his crash and smash monster truck!!! He was racing it all over the place! He sends his thanks too!

This one is from Pam!!! Yeah, no road kill!! hehehe The onesies pants are showing the backside so he will have tigger on his butt!! I love the baseball outfit, those stripes just look so grown up!!! Jarrod also thoroughly loved the Mike viewmaster and the reels!! His viewmaster doesn't work anymore so he was excited to be able to use his reels. Santa brought him a little case to carry his reels in, but the camera is shot!!

Oh and there were socks in there too that I forgot to put in the pictrue! sorry!

these are from Elaine. What's funny is that I looked at those before I knew whether he was a he or a she, but I decided not to get them! Yippee!! I got them anyway! I love the little onesies on babies, especially in the summer time!

This pooh outfit is from Liz!! I love the picture of Pooh and Tigger together!! The outfit also had 3 pair of socks to match! So I can accessorize him differently each time he wears it!

These are from Beth!! All the onesies have the character face on the butts!! I especially liked Liz's remark that Ethan will have "Pooh" on his butt!! hehehe the Coverall outfit is the same as the one Liz got but in a different size, so he will have it to wear for much longer!!

The funny thing is my mom had already bought me the Mickey one in a 0 to 3 month size, she showed it to me today (after the party) she was thinking it would be perfect to bring him home from the hospital in. (I wnt to bring him home in Mickey!) So he has another outfit he can wear for a much longer time!!

These are from Nancy!! The outfit is a one piece jammie kind of outfit. I love that it has its own bib to go with it!! She also sent a rubber ducky and a set of keys! I just hope he doesn't make his appearance wanting a car already!! She also sent Jarrod some die cast trucks (which btw went very well with the monster smash truck!!! There was lots of racing going on this afternoon!) Nancy also sent me a good smelling soap from B&BW, White Tea and Ginger as well as some matching hand lotion!! I will be smelling good now!!

Thank you so much everyone!! This really means a lot to me and I'm so sorry not everyone could join us for the chat!! When i told people that I was having a baby shower with people I know on line they just looked at me like I had lost my mind (well partially I suppose I have!!!) but I think it just goes to show that you can get to "know" people even if you have never met face to face!! Who knows, maybe we all knew each other in another life!!

Wow!! What a haul, Tara!! Nice stuff there.
I just finished reading the transcript too.....sounds like you all had a good time....sorry I was a little late showing up.
I think I checked in about an hour and 50 minutes after the start. It took me that long to get DH home, settled and fed.......I hope to make the next one.

We got home from Harrisburg last night. DH was honored with a nice award from the Mid-Atlantic States organization he is affiliated with.

The party last night was good. The food was a bit icky, though.

Going to my friend's church this morning to see the little boy I babysit get dedicated. The boys aren't thrilled that they have to go to some other church. They want to go to our church and see there friends.

Been trying to ketch-up on pics and stuff that I missed. Finally got to see: Tara's baby room-loveit , the little Shepettes in the Easter attire-beautiful little girls, everybody's BAB babies (and I must say what a well dressed gang they are!)and Sherry's new do (looks great!)!

Nancy-WOW what a long day you had! Glad to hear DH is doing well and wish him a very speedy recovery.

Tara- Great stuff you got there! Little Ethan is gonna be one well dressed young un w/lots of YaYa Aunts & Uncles Sounds like the shower was a great success.

Better go, this monitor I am on is going and I keep losing the pic so I better get this posted. Off to find the cords for my 'puter so I can see about it getting it hooked up at my house.

Morning all Well we had a very uneventful anniversary. I spent a good deal of my time wrestling with the Kreepy Krawly (it won ). Then we wanted to go out to eat--Michael and Matthew were both gone so we couldnt leave the little ones with them. We wanted steak--Evan wanted Casa Ole--guess who won,lol. Anyway the fajita's were good. We then crashed early. Well Evan and I did. Dad and Connor stayed up a little later.
Tara I love your stuff. Its all so cute. Makes me miss having a baby baby. I still consider Connor at baby but at 2 he is a big baby, lol.
Nancy I hope you dh is doing good and resting comfortably.

Ugh, drilling, sawing and all this other good stuff is going on in my kitchen My dad is re-wiring the kitchen and bringing it totally up to code. All the funky stuff we used to have will be gone. And we will have more than one outlet in the kitchen too! Microwave has been bought so he will install that one when he is all done.

Hi Kristy! Enjoy that weather of yours. I am avoiding going out a lot since the pollen level is really high today (11.5 out of 12 on the scale)

Yep, I have an above the range stove is what I have. Our old one is icky and tiny on the inside so we have one that matches our other appliances and is 1.8 cu ft. instead of 1.4

Didn't get to enjoy much of the sunshine today. Although I certainly enjoyed looking out the window a lot!!! The shirts are all done for Chicago and I am pleased with the results. We will be the best dressed dissers at the meet!!

Kristy, isn't this weather amazing??!! I think we missed spring entirely and have gone straight to summer!! We hit 88º today and here it is almost 8:30 at night and it's only down to 81º!!! Not complaining, I swear!!

So, Jeannie, now that we've given Tara a virtual shower, I think it's your turn next! You'll have to clue us in as to your wedding date and when would be a good time for us to "shower" you! Post a wish list for us, too!

Hey, Pam!! Congrats to your DH on his award! What was he honored for? BTW, I hear you've been nominated for Roadkill Mama of the year!!! Better practice your acceptance speech, you're getting a full 2 minutes!!

Bethie, I am so glad that you got the shirts done and that they look great! I can't wait to see them!!

Dawn loved all the things she got, and she seemed to have a really good time! Except for painting the walls and adding in the last two outlets, the kitchen is done. We have replaced every appliance in the kitchen now. All went from icky bisque (not that bisque is icky in general, but these were an ugly shade of it) to nice clean white. I hadn't noticed how yellow the microwave was until we replaced the range. I am happy with it

What a beautiful day today...or at least the part of it that I saw! I worked in the mall at Subway doing customer surveys!! What fun.....NOT!!! Anyway, such is life. I did get to help Greg with some landscaping stuff...I got to remove the grass from in between the paving bricks! DOn't tell him this, but I was really enjoying just sitting out in the grass helping him make the yard look pretty!!!

Tara, what great pictures! I am so glad you got so many great gifts! What fun it was!!!!
