Thanks for the blender insights...Elaine that was precisely the kind of in-depth review I was looking for...I have a feeling you and I have very similar shopping research fanaticism, if I may say so. (Kind of interested why you don't like handheld mixers...seriously.)

Just wondering, if Pam ever gets back, what kind of ideas for her DD's graduation party she's come up with oh yeah..and this...

(DH ruined a brand new full size blender we got as a wedding gift by running muskrats through it to make bait.... )

I followed this sentence with naive earnestness until the last bit about the muskrat ...I know I'm having "Pam withdrawal" when I fail to detect a roadkill-cuisine reference so OBVIOUSLY coming my way...

My eyes are shot from being on the computer all day.......

I thought about Pam today as I was driving down the street. I saw a couple of loose piggies and thought about all the roadkill wonders she could whip up with them
Nancy thanks for the Easter card. I wish I was good and sent out cards and stuff.
Yesterday I had to run through Krogers to get David a little birthday cake and I was really in a hurry. Well long lines everywhere and the check yourself out things. I HATE the check yourself out registers with a passion. 1. I always have many items and no room on there for them--if you remove them the machine screeches at you to put the item back and 2 since Im not getting a discount to check myself out I want a live human to do it.
Arent you guys glad I popped in to gripe I promise to have a more fluffy post next time

Good morning all!!! Slept pretty good last night and I hope that will be a sign of a decent day here. I shouldn't stay long so I can get some stuff done though.

LOL, Jeannie, yep I research a lot for things I get... whether I wind up getting them or not Oh and the reason why I hate handheld mixers... I'm short, counters are pretty dang tall... those things can cause "splashes" If the angle is off... so I just hate standing on tiptoes holding one of those while trying to mix. Much easier to put it in the bowl, raise the bowl to the right level (Kitchen Aid pro mixer style for me) and turn it on and walk away

Ahem, Kristy, Clay??? Oh no she can put the dorkaskater back if she keeps Orlando in the sig

LOL, Deena, feel free to gripe at anytime! Silly thing is I love those self check outs... People don't know how to pack groceries correctly and they take 2x as long as I do to check out. Of course I just deal with it when I have too many items to go through them I hear you though, I know many who hate them too!!!

Rarely use mixers. Usually hand mix. The hand blender does sound like something Todd may use...instead of wasting ice cream

Elaine...meeting was cancelled. Boss's boss didn't call him till 1.5hrs after their initial meeting time, which meant no meeting.

Wonderful weather yesterday and going to be better today Maybe I should have stayed home

Todd shipped our package out yesterday. Just a day late...don't feel so bad after reading others are late. Thanks for waiting everyone.

Gloomy, dark day today.....nice day to go to the movie
But first I have some rugs to shampoo

I actually got a lot done yesterday while out shopping.....it just really tired me out
I did get the jeans I needed for Chicago and a couple things for the cruise.....no dress or sandals though. I'll be looking a little more today.

And...the worst thing....NO RAINCOAT for LILY!! They are all out and won't get anymore in.....and I can't find it online anymore either! But...I did find that online has college tees and city tees.....so Lily will be getting a Chicago shirt for the trip

Jeannie....I have a hand held super-strength mixer. Something I bought during my HSN spree! It works really well, but is sometimes a PITA to clean.
Elaine....you wouldn't like my kitchen counters....we had them built 2" taller than normal Seems so odd to go somewhere else now....they all seem so short!

Elaine, glad you slept weel. How are the allergies doing today?

It's a gorgeous day here--hope the clouds and cold weather are leaving all your areas and you all can enjoy this kind of beautiful weather! It just lifts my spirits to no end!

We got one of those adorable duckies for Dave's mom the other night and shipped it off to her for an Easter gift. Put her in the Easter Egg outfit and got her a vacation outfit too--the Hawaii T-shirt, a denim skirt, a straw hat with little flowers on it, a pair of pink thong sandals and sunglasses!! Nancy, they had plenty of raincoats there--I will pick one up and bring it to Chicago for Lily. Do you need the boots too?

I have been quite remiss--haven't bought or mailed my baby shower gift I promise to get that done this weekend and will send it FedEx!!

Elaine, glad to hear you slept well last night! Hope those allergies leave you alone for awhile!! Sorry about the late start of the conference, though.

Jeannie--Dave had one of those hand-held blenders when he moved in. He uses it mostly for making scrambled eggs and omelets. It really makes them fluffy!!!! He loves it!

Todd! Hope that Priority package makes it. We had something coming from Denver that was sent Priority. It took 10 days!! And a First Class letter only took 3! I thought Priority was supposed to be faster??!!
