Sure has been quiet here lately. Found us on page 2!

Woke up this morning to SNOW! Not alot, but sheesh, come on.......its APRIL!!

Gotta go wake up the boys and start getting ready for church.

Hi all... sorry for not checking in... I can tell you what the 4:30 part was for and why I wasn't really on at all yesterday

Luis had a friend from Cleveland come down for the dinner and *he* was coming at 4:30. So he came here spent the night and all that too. We had some of the guys back here last night as well so I wasn't able to do *anything* I hoped to last night.

It's snowing here too... icky white stuff on the ground. WEll I had better fly... I'll do a better check in later

Very long story that I would be glad to discuss with you whenever yer ready. Bottom line is that it works for us. I tell my 2 DSs that when they pick a bride they need to "interview" so that they get someone who is equal to their talents. They can be self-sufficient if need be.

Dan, thanks for the nice thoughts with the drive by post! Now that Southwest has dirt cheap airfares, I am tempted to come for the day, but don't think the work schedule will permit coming to Chi town.

My husband likes the YA YA WDW Resort name. Usually, he rolls his eyes at me and the ya ya thing, lol! Just think, it can now have a thousand pages!

Bethie, glad your Cantata went well. Are you getting rest this weekend to make up for all that running around last weekend?

Liz, I can tell you honestly that I hardly ate at WDW. I'll give a recap, but there's not much to it, LOL!

Cool basket, Pam! I think the box I won't open yet has some wonderful yummy goodies from the inlaws in it, but if I open it now the boys will rat it out. Hope you're enjoying the basket of yummies Kristy sent your way.

Wow, Rosemary fit all of that in your basket, Nancy? Sounds like a mighty big basket to me!

Lily, you can sleep on a plane? I try and it never happens. Sorry that your seat was getting kicked, though.

Tara, your dinner sounds like it was great. It probably feels weird to not be headed in a few times a week after being there for so long!

BTW, the Meriweather I got for my sister in law is by Lenox. They had 500 of Flora, Fauna and Meriweather that the designing artist signed at WDW on Friday and Saturday. I went into the Art of Disney at Epcot on Thursday night and found out that I could prepay it. It was a prerelease and they'll be out in July. Then later that night, I got to see the actual figurines at DTD. They're really nice. Not something I'd collect, but my sister in law is ecstatic.

The ducks are cute, but no plush stuff here. It's really hard not to have it, but the asthma doc told me that we can't have it. I'll enjoy everyone's pictures of their stuffed friends, tho.

Todd, thanks for thinking about me. Hope your dad is doing okay. I wasn't close to my brother, and he wasn't in the best of health, but it still was a shock. The main thing that was good is that I already had the trip to Florida planned and could be a support to my mom. Hopefully, you'll get to reschedule your Gatlinburg trip.

Deena, did Due when I was in Chicago, boy that was yummy!

Lily, check out Southwest. They're having a flight sale. BWI to MCO is 49 each way, too bad I can't fly next month. After I move to Fl, I don't know where I'm going until friends decide when the wedding will be!

Lainey, nice dress you picked out for the tea and shower. Simple, but classy.

seems like a quiet weekend in the resort. Daylight savings time did me in, I went to bed at 3. I think a little catnap would be nice before I clean around the house. I am tired out from looking at all the MLS listings!

Been busy, busy, busy this weekend--all day scrappbooking thing yesterday, Palm Sunday with special music at church this AM, and I just got home from my previous job, where I am helping out with some tax stuff. Dog tired, need to ketchup and see what's been happenin' around here, and I think I'm going to let Pizza Hut do the cooking tonight!

Ready for my afternoon nap. No wait! It's almost "bed time" and the sun is shining. Yes, the SUN came out this afternoon. Still have snow warnings too. Go figure.

Elaine, now I remember about going to bed at daylight. DH is complaining already that is what he must do.

Finished with dinner--asparagus, roast beast, carrots, potato, like pot roast dinner. Mmmm...good. I just finished my Klondike bar and am still under 1,000 cals for the day. (999)

Suzanne, thanks for the SW tip! Will check it out for sure tonight I hope.

Don't feel like doing anything else just now.

Installment on the cooking with the family--started out as a "game" for us. It is something to do that we can share together.

Quick post to say

Heading to the Drive In in a bit to see Hell Boy. Might stay and see Secret Window, not sure yet. I have to be up early tomorrow and so do the boys.

Went to church, then stopped at White Castle for lunch. Then stopped at my inlaws for dinner.

Snow is gone, but it is very cold and windy. Blech!

Gotta run!

My kids used to cook too....so I know they can They just choose not to
They used to have one night a week that they planned and cooked.

Don't know when or if I will hear from DH Not sure of the time difference or if he will try to figure it out

Well, kitties and I will be watching lots of TV tonight! Which is good because my movie pile is high.

Suzanne!! Thanks for the ketchup! I'm going to mooch off of your post!! I started reading but my eye lids became very heavy and laid down on the couch for a few minutes!! hehehe 3 hours later my mom sent Jar to wake me up! I had a late night last night. My brother was performing at the comedy club so a bunch of us went and then we had a promotion party for one of our cms that just made Lead CM so went to midnight bowling!! By the time I hit the bed it was 3 am the new time! Four hours later jar was up and ready for the day!

But I do have to say he had a first in his young life today!! I took him to Chuck E. cheese for dinner! He had a blast and i got to play skee ball! Of course I only played so that he could get enough tickets to actually buy something! hehe

I have missed being able to get on here and see what's happening. The last time I checked in on the cb (and the yaya's) was the day where I found out that a size 12 was fat!! Boy was I sad! I don't know how I have lived this long and not realized that 12 was something I should have been ashamed of . Unfortunately I didn't see the outcome of that thread but i'm sure it must have been fun! Some people need to get a life!!

Anyway, I have ordered my cap, gown, and hood (I guess the master's people are too ugly to be seen so we have to wear hoods!! ). It should be here any day now. I paid extra to get one that was rentable instead of getting the free one. The free one I had to drive to Charlotsville (3hours one way) once to order it and then the 2nd time to pick it up. I don't have enough days to do that! Besides that will keep me from spending money on gas and such!

Gonna run and check on my grad school class online and see what I'm missing. Everyone take care and I'll try and check in again in the next day or so!

Good Morning!

Movie was so-so. It was too late to stay for the other movie, so we came home.

Todd, the boys came, too. It was chilly, but they were bundled up and also had blankets and pillows. And every once in awhile Junior would turn the car on so we could warm up.
Congrats on the 1st place brackets.

Nancy, hope your DH calls. Enjoy all your movies.

Tara, glad Jar enjoyed CEC. I love skee ball!

No little boy to watch today, DH is busy with stuff this morning/afternoon, so I think I might go back to bed when the boys leave!

Gotta go wake up the first 2 boys for school!
