Well....we measured and stuff in the basement and looks like come fall (maybe .....he can be so slooooww), I will get a 12' x 6' room for scrapping! Then maybe I will actually use some ot the supplies I keep collecting......oh, and Elaine....I think I know what's going on the walls!!

Hi Honeys, I'm home!!!

I have returned from the grand-poobah of truck shows. Sick, tired, and cranky - but home!! DS was sick the whole time with the sore throat, sinus problems, etc. that I had last weekend. Of course I came down with it again yesterday as the show was winding down....

Todd, I am praying for your Dad. I read your post and I am so happy that the surgery went well!

Suzanne - my condolences on the loss of your brother.

Tara - I can picture Jar dragging you through the museum!

Kristy - great scrapbook pics! I need to figure out how to scan/take pics of mine and upload them....

Yay - Elaine got her Roadkill Basket! I was very restrained, wasn't I???? Yup - the Orli poster is what was lost.....

Rose Mary - glad to hear that your car is fixed - was it the right or left arm that the mechanic took???

Liz - I need some retail therapy, too!!

Todd and family, our thoughts and prayers have been with you and will continue. I did a bit of lurking yesterday, so we saw the news.

Awww, Rose Mary and Elaine missed me!! As Eeyore would say, "Thanks for noticing me..."

It has been a hectic weekend. It usually is when Dave is off work, cuz we like to do something special when we have time off together. But yesterday was dress rehearsal for the choir canata at church and today was the performance. Three hours rehearsal yesterday, then we did the grocery shopping, TDS and a few other errands. I got some new sneakers, and they are BOMBASTIC!!! They are hot pink and black and I LOVE them!!

Today was fantastic at church....the cantata was very moving, as it was the story of Christ's life, death and resurrection. We had people from the congregation telling us we had them in tears!!! It WAS good, if I do say so myself!! Dave taped it and we've watched it twice already. We were flat in several places, the first sopranos were not quite loud enough and the 2nd sopranos were too loud (that's my section, of course ) , but all in all, it was beautiful. My back is killing me from all the hours on the risers, but, it was worth it!

This afternoon, though, Dave and I went to the movies and saw Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ". And I thought the cantata was moving??!!! This film was horrific and awesome all wrapped up together!!!! Cried all my makeup off and then some. It's a must see, but be prepared for graphic violence. Definitely NOT for one the younger set.

Kristy, I love the scrapbook pages you showed us! I went to one of those all day events a couple of weeks ago and I'm going to another next Saturday! For awhile, I was thinking I was addicted to collecting supplies, but now I have some actual scrapping done! Will have to see if I can show you a few of my pages.

Karen!!! It is soooooooooo heartwarming to hear the smile and happiness in your posts!! I am so glad to hear you are feeling so much better and hope you and your doc can work out something that will enable this to continue!

Nancy, I like the little bit of color in the tile. Not too feminine, which is what my DH is always worried about when I mention the word pink. Hope your DH gets those DVD shelves done right quick and gets your scrapping room closed off so we can all scrap together!! It will do you AND the kitties good to have a little time to yourselves, anyway!

Well, gotta finish the laundry and make some gravy to go with the pot roast. DH is in heaven--his favorite dinner!!

Tara LOL I can see Jar pulling you through the museum too. Sounds like what Derek does to me in Target Believe me...you don't have to be creative and there are MANY diecuts(pre-made page borders, etc) that you can use to make the books.

I may wait until I can see it in the privacy of my own home though. Your sneakers sound great too!!! Who makes them?? I've seen a few out there with those colors lately.

No time for a ketchup.

Had to take oldest DS to ER last night. He had been coughing for a few days and medicine wasn't working. He has bronchitis and it aggrivated his asthma. Needs to stay home today and no gym the rest of the week. He started his meds last night. Hopefully he'll feel better soon.

Boys go back to school today.

Up and at em bright and early as there is so much going on today!!!! I have PT at 9 and then a Drs appointment at 11:30 so I guess I can say my day is pretty well shot as there is always a huge wait to get in. I just don't get it!! Oh well!

I have about 1/2 the t-shirts completed, they are coming out very nicely! It's just very hot work over that iron and I can only stand the heat for maybe 3-4 shirts and then I have to go cool off! But, I made some very good choices on ink colors based on the shirt colors and we are definitely going to be very chic!!!

Laine, my new sneaks are Saucony brand. My feet do NOT like leather shoes and canvas is getting really hard to find. These are mostly fabric--like parachute cloth--trimmed with black suede. And the insole comes out which is kinda neat cuz I think it's washable!

Sherry, hope DS feels better REAL soon! That asthmatic bronchitis is NASTY--what a way to extend his spring break.

Rose Mary, I hope your co-worker gets back on the job on time and you can get some relief! Maybe you'll get lucky and this will be an easy week for you?

Pam, sorry to hear the sinuses are acting up again! Truck show went well, though?! Hope you can rest up, feel better and drop in more often!

Well, my day will get busy soon--boy-genius boss will be in shortly to tie up a few things before he heads to Florida for another installation. It will be soooooooo nice because the other boss is on vacation so I will be allllllllll by my lonesome for 2 whole days!!!! I sense some serious playtime in my future!

ACK! Started on my diet (AGAIN! ) and started exercising again. Did the 1-mile Walk Away The Pounds for Abs, and Pilates and OMG, am I out of shape. I haven't exercised since last summer. I'm pooped!!

LOL, Liz. Tinkerbell is my kitty. We are the only "girls" in the house.
I'll be sure to give her an extra treat (or 2 or 3) from you, Nancy.

Liz weather has been great last couple of days. I sat outside yesterday reading my book. Ended up looking up at the sky and thinking of Disney. My Mom and Sister went to MGM on Sat and had the nerve to call me and say "guess where we are???" So after a while I would call them and say "where are you now?"
It was just a day trip for them but it made me jealous. But I was glad they shared it with me

Went to movie Saturday and saw Scoobie Doo. Was rather suprised at how funny it was. Don't know if it was just because I was in such a good mood or what but I enjoyed it.

Just got back from running some errands.

Its getting chilly out and is now raining. Waah!! I want warm temps and sun.

I don't mind DST. I like it to stay light later. Can keep the boys outside longer. I hate losing an hour of sleep, though.
