I'm finally able to get in after the boards being so slow and then the dog is bouncing around doing a jig to go outside. Come back to try to catch up and the DS has to tell me about some PS2 game he is playing (like I care ) but, I act like the wonderful mother I am and listened intently, then tell him it's ok to go back and kill some more bad guy and now I can't remember what I read sheesh .

Anyhoo, Thanks to Elaine for that FAB ketch-up. But, I won't be in Chicago so I wanna hear all about the new hobby.

Todd--dont beat yourself up over a missed meet. We missed one in Oct at MNSSHP. We got to MK right before the parade and they didnt want anyone going across the street so we waited there and watched the parade and by the time we got to HM everyone was gone. With little kids its so hard to be anywhere at a certain time especially on vacation.
As for the Dis it couldnt be any slower this morning I was posting the birthdays today and it took me 1.5 hours to do them --should have only taken maybe 20 minutes.

Evening, yayas!

One word MIGRAINE. I woke up with it, and I knew the blossoms were coming, so I filled my Imitrex yesterday...two shots later, a coffee, a 15 minute nap on my break and an afternoon out of the sunny front of my store I'm finally down to the tiniest headache. Cherry and Apple blossoms do it to me really bad.

The only Disser's I've met have been totally unplanned! I'd love to go to a meet, but worry about the other stuff. Sorry that you had to get blasted, Liz. How was work today? So, does this mean you might be my neighbor in Florida, huh huh?

Someone here on the Dis is responsible for my whole family being addicted to the Caramel hershey kisses! Those things are yummy!

Evening yaya's. Jarrod, my mom and I are doing much better. He was very stressed all evening and ended up being pretty grumpy. Can't say as I blame him! I'm surprised my mom didn't deck someone. when she called to tell me about it she was wound tight!! I'm afraid if I had been there my big ole belly and I would have been up those tubes in a heart beat!! I don't know why parents let their kids do these things! I guess I'm safe from Mc Donald's for a while! I'm calm and mantilda is calm too!! We are both ready for bed here soon! But ya better believe your yaya booties that I will follow up on this and report it to the franchise owner because this was totally unacceptable!!!

Anyway, I've read and caught up but I'm going to bed, so suffice to say have a good evening all and don't be too loud, I need my beauty rest


Oh, Suzanne I will keep that in mind for our trip. I'm pricing right now with tix and without!! We are going to do one day at Universal and one day at sea World again!

Suzanne hope migraine is gone..imitrex doesn't work for me I take Maxalt..it dissolves under the tongue and works fast.

As for the snow I am sorry for everyone on the receiving end of it.
There are times I miss it but after this weekend and being cold in 60 degrees I think I will just enjoy pictures. Besides all of you can make fun of me when I am dying of heat stroke when it is 110 degrees here in the desert this summer

Snow!! Yep...DH called and said he might not get out tomorrow That would mean canceling that doctor appointment that he waited for so long......let's hope the forecast is wrong!

Throat feels better but ears are acting up......cold? Or still a reaction to landing last night? I have really bad ears for landing....and Seattle is the worst place of all!!

Nimrod school officials finally cancelled school 15 minutes ago - and only after I watched the school buses turn around and head back to the bus garage. It's horrible here - supposed to get 6-10" today and an additional 3-5" tonight...

Woke up to rain which them turned to snow and everyone forgot how to drive ...25mph in a 65mph with less that a 1/2 in on the ground....no ice.

On the 17th I will be at my church playing in the dirt It is the kids service month and since Earth day is in April we are going to do some landscaping.

Tara..I need to find the thread about the play area. Shep hates McDonald's playlands, I don't care for them but will go about once a year.

Elaine...Mandy can help you with wire beading. She loves that stuff. Of course your's probably has a design

Someone needs to clean the resort. We should have called ahead of time for a de-germing.

Kristy, you should read my post more carefully... you'll see that I already said what I am doing. Actually it isn't a new hobby for me, just an expansion of an old one.

Wow, Lily!!! 13 inches??? I'm shocked at that one since they were saying that last night the highest was supposed to be 8" in Ohio. Supposedly the bad belt is almost a diagonalish thing going through the major cities We'll see how bad it is when I go home. Ohio drivers are stupid in the snow!

Okay I'm going to say this now because it annoys me... if you *can't* drive in the snow, STAY HOME! Don't go 10 mph when the roads are okay while taking up 2 lanes since you are straddling both! And while we are at it BRUSH ALL SNOW from your car!!! Don't leave a 3 inch layer on the top of your car so that it hits mine as you speed along. I also CANNOT see when you are breaking because your tail lights are covered!

Sorry about that but that is my peeve... and if you do it, I will get annoyed with you and don't care People who don't bother to clean off cars are a huge hazard on the road.

Anywho....

I guess I am lucky Pam, I haven't seen those caramel Hershey kisses yet! Stay safe in that snow!

Suzanne, I am not sure yet about being neighbors. In theory, it is all good. I would love to live down here. My sister does want me to try the job out for a month and see if I do want to move....one problem.....Greg would be up north! I don't think I could ever leave him again for this length of time. I miss him something awful. Remind me if I EVER decide to vacation this long again....that it is a very BAD thing!!! Well, the headache is gone, but I've gotta be a good girl and use all those inhalers to make sure this week isn't torture.

Jeanne, first I started with the pills and found out I was taking too much. Then I did the nasal, but it made me vomit because half of it ran down my throat. Now I've got injections and they work. The Maxalt did so so for me...I do have some sample tabs floating around here somewhere. Sometimes I switch around when I've had 3 or 4 migraines in a week. Thanks to eliminating nutrasweet, I've only had 4 migraines in 8 months!

We were supposed to get some of the 'wintry mix' that is snow by Pammy, Deena and Lainey, but instead, it is just rain. Hope you ladies get less than they say you're to get.

Kristy and Tara, my apologies...17th is Neil's birthday. Just let me know where to send my goodies, though!

I didn't ask for a cootie exchange, either. Just the #!#$ allergies wreaking havoc here. BTW, Havoc!

Lainey, making jewelery sounds like fun. Working with bead and wires? You may want to make some wine charms. I had a guest make some for me...they are really pretty. My kids think they're earrings, though!
