The Wright's Take On The World ! Walt Disney World That Is ! LOL Complete TR 6/25/09

After we left the Character Greeting Spot , we spotted Chip & Dale and decided to hop in line , DS decide he didn’t want to meet w them so DH took him to the bathroom while I waited w/ DD & Baby DS . The wait was not long at all .

Next up we were headed to The Seas w/ Nemo and Friends but DD decided to have a potty accident. So we packed it in and headed out of Epcot to go back to CBR to change her. Before we left I stopped to get some photo pass pictures of DS and I in front of SE and the photo pass photographer talked me into letting DD and Baby DS also get there pictures done too . After this it was straight back to CBR to change DD and rest for a little bit .

Around 5:00 we headed back to Epcot and rode Nemo & Friends and also Turtle Talk w/ Crush . By now it was time to eat dinner , I suggested Sunshine Seasons after reading such great reviews about it here on the dis boards . So it was decided Sunshine Seasons it was and the reviews were exactly right delicious ! I had the Sweet & Sour Chicken ,rice & broccoli , DD had roasted turkey leg ,mashed potatoes& grapes, DS had a sub w/ carrots & applesauce ,DH had Turkey Muenster cheese on Foccacia . We all chose soda’s to drink and dessert was carrot & chocolate cakes . Baby DS had some of everyone’s since he’s only two and can’t do the dinning plan yet but it still works out to be enough for him sharing .

Next we headed over to Club Cool to sample some beverages and give DH a taste of the Beverly ! LOL I went right in filled him up a cup of Beverly and told him to taste this . LOL I was laughing then but after he got done I wasn’t , come to find out the Beverly can make a person sick , cause not too long after that DH had a stomach ace from that point on and he was just a little bit peeved at me for giving it to him . Oops

Wow, did those photopass pictures come out great. And they took a ton. That makes it totally worth it when they do candid pictures liek that at character meets.
I am so jealous of the soarin graphic picture. I MUST get on next trip. I'm mad because I asked several photopass photogrpahers what graphics they could do, but most only said they could add Tinkerbell. Which is great oo, but I would love some of the others as well.

Poor DD and her accident. I'm sure this happens alot there. Kids get to excited and forget to go, or they are like my DD who thinks we shoukld check out every bathroom in the place at times. LOL!

Thanks , yes the autograph mat was the best idea ever , I don't think you could do it every year but we filled up two whole mats . I will have to take pictures of them and post on here for everyone to see .

I got the bag in the Emporium in MK . It was however 4 years ago on our first trip in 2006 , so I don't know if they still have them or not ?

The photo pass photographers always take a ton of pictures in that Character Greeting Spot in Ecpot , so we try to do it every year . You will have to take Claire in there on your next trip . This may sound silly but before we went I went on stitchandkingdom.com I think that's what it's called and they give you all the spots where they take the photo pass magic shots , so I wrote them down and made sure to ask the photographer at that spot for that specific shot . Almost all of the times they were able to do it .

I know DD had several accidents that week , so after the first few I started carrying extra clothes & things in my bag so we wouldn't have to go back to the room . I think that was exactly her problem too excited and just forgot . Now that were back she hasn't had any accidents since !

When I left off DH had just got finished tasting the Beverly , which didn’t agree w/ his stomach . He pushed on any way and we headed over to WS to start doing the Kidcot Fun Stops . We started at the UK where the kiddies got there masks and decorated them . Next we headed over to France where they added to there masks, looked for the pressed penny machine to add to DS collection and DS got some PP pictures .

Then we were off again hitting every country to get a stamp on there masks and added dangle . We also were hitting up the pressed penny machines in every country too , so DS could have one each for his collection. We made our next Photo pass picture stop, where else America .

After this we headed around the rest of WS doing the same as before , adding to the masks and making pressed pennies . When we got to the end which was Mexico DH was ready to go , so we headed back to CBR around 10p.m. and it was a good thing we did because DH was about ready to lose his cookies from sampling the Beverly . He was up off and on the whole entire night losing his cookies . The next day we had planned was to go to Typhoon Lagoon , will we make it ?

After a long night for DH , everyone woke up around 8 a.m. and was ready to go and feeling perfect ! So we got our swim gear on and headed to Typhoon Lagoon for 10 a.m. opening . We got there just in time , got the kids life jackets and headed to Ketchakiddee Creek Area and got chairs right along the edge of the wading area. The kids played on the slides& tugboat , in the fountains, waterfalls & grotto. DS loved the tube ride and spent so much time riding .We also took a lazy river ride as a family and for the first year DS and DD actually rode on there own kiddy tubes ! Then around lunch time we headed over to one of there restaurants , not sure which one but I had a Chili Cheese Dog, Apple Slices & Mickey Bar,DH had a Chicken Wrap, Apple Slices & Cheese Cake,DD had a Hot Dog, Fries & Fruit Popsicle , DS had the same and again Baby DS had some of everyone’s . We then headed back to Ketchakiddee Creek and continued as we were doing before until about 2:30 p.m. we packed it in and headed back to CBR to get ready for our 6:00 pm. ADR at 1900 Park Fare .

Where you able to find a machine in China and Japan. It has been several years, but I remember atleast one of these countries not having the same "normal" items that you could find in the other countries.

China did not have a machine , they told DH that WDW does not have any affiliation w/ China but you can go to the International Gateway and get a pressed penny there for China, however we never got around to doing it .

We did get one for Japan and filled up one of the pressed penny & quarter books during our trip. You probably know already but if not they can give you a list of all the pressed penny machines at guest relations , we used this our whole trip to locate the machines .

Oh what cute pics in the character connection. They are having so much fun there...dancing and laughing. These are some of the best pics yet. Love their signed mats too! I love the water park pics too. The one of your baby playing with the boat is precious! All of your kids look just alike. Do you hear that all the time? As they get older and catch up in size people will think they're triplets.

I hope you guys have fun this weekend. Hopefully you'll find enough funds for Jasmine. I hope Sidney has a nice pay day tomorrow. I have a lot of bills to pay.

I had a lot of questions about the pictures mats we used to get the Characters autographs . So I decided to post some pictures of the finished product and I will also included the picture before we used them. I bought 3 sets of two mats at Wal-Mart for 3$ a piece and a pack of multi colored sharpies not sure on the price of the sharpies though . The mats however were 8x10 mats and hold a 5x7 picture . My kids had a blast w/ these and so did the characters , they loved putting there faces in the frame . LOL

Wanted to also share this with everyone . A couple of weeks ago we bought the stuff and made our own Goofy’s Candy , here’s how it turned out .

Thanks so much First off to help me decide what picture went into what mat , I wrote each kids name on the back of the mat before we left , cause DS 5 did not get all the autographs the others did this year , he picked and chose who he wanted to meet with. LOL So anyway I would pick one of the mats and then look for a picture w/ one of the characters in it that had signed the mat and had the kid's name on the back that was in the picture , that's how I decided . Hope that made sense As far as the signing went there was no rhyme or reason as to what character signed what mat , we would just take it everywhere until it was full and them started the new one .

We got back to CBR and got our showers & baths and rested . Then around 3:30 p.m. we headed out to Disney’s Wide World Of Sports gift shop for DH’s Atlanta Braves stuff but he found nothing so we packed it in to find a Grocery store to get some juice boxes for the kids . We found a Winn Dixie DS and I went in got the juice boxes and we were off to the Grand Floridian for our 6:00 ADR at 1900 Park Fare . We got there early at 5:00 p.m. and killed time by looking through the gift shops . We decide to check in early and to my surprise they could seat us right now at 5:30 p.m. We skipped the picture before you enter and were seated right away . Then we were greeted by Lady Termaine,Antasia & Derselia and took pictures and got autographs from each one . We then got our food from the buffet DH & I both did not care for . They must have changed Chef’s since our visit in 2007 when we had dinner here , cause lets just say the bread was the best thing on the buffet this year . LOL We finished up eating and waited on Cinderella & Prince Charming which took forever . We had this same problem here last year w/ the Characters at the breakfast , we actually never even got to meet with them because it took them so long to get around the restaurant and come back out to go around again ! We did however hang around after we ate and paid our bill this year to meet with Cinderella & Prince Charming . It was now 6:30 p.m. and we were headed to DTD for the evening .

When I left off we were headed to DTD . When we got there we went to the Once Upon A Toy Store and DS got Light Saber & Potato Heads, DD got My Little Ponies that you can dress up like Disney Princess. We then headed to Goofy’s Candy Company one of our new favorite places at WDW. DD made her own Marshmallows & DS made his own Pretzel Rods . We then were headed back to CBR but before we could leave DTD DS,Baby DS& DD each filled up there own buckets of Lego’s at the Lego store .

We made it back to CBR around 9:30 p.m. and I headed over to do our Laundry , which I have to say was pretty far from our room . Everyone was asleep by the time I got back at 11:00 p.m. except DH , so he helped put the Laundry away and then it was off to bed for us too .
