The Wright's 1st Time Staying Deluxe,A September 2010 Pre-Trip Report!Update 9/26

Maybe you can give us some water park tips. Our guys have been, but Jill and I and the girls have not. We've thought about maybe Jill and John taking Brooklynn sometime while I stay back with Bella. I thought we might do that this summer, since we'll have plenty of days. It just depends on if they want to pay the extra, I guess. How long do you think they'd need to stay to really say they got their money's worth, and what tips could you give them on taking Brooklynn?

Great pictures! :)
I'm sure in the heat and humidity of Sept you will all enjoy cooling off at a water park!

Chef Mickey's is guaranteed to be fun for the kiddos even if it's not the best meal you'll have and following it up with DTD guarantees fun for you!
Yes, it's always nice to take one day to cool off and plus my kiddies aren't really swimmers yet so they really enjoy the kiddie area at both parks where they can touch as appose to some of the hotel pools where they can't !

My kiddies def do love CM , I was just a little bored w/ it myself . Your right though going to DTD & shopping after will def give Mom some fun of her own !

Love all the pictures :) Cant wait to meet up with you guys when you are down there! The kids will love the over-night guest for sure :lmao:

Thanks Bestie ! I know we can't wait either , I still can't believe it's real that you all will be moving to Orlando . I'm sure it won't sink in till the day we meet you at the parks and maybe spend a night at your house to check out Sea World :)

Great water park pictures! We always do one waterpark per trip and pay out or our pockets for one day passes. It is a little bit cheaper than adding them to our hopper passes. I am curious which one you prefer. We like BB better but I think strictly because I like the theming better which seems like sort of a silly reason. Just wondering what you think:confused3.

Thanks soo much :) Paying out of pocket for one day pass to the water-park would def be something we need to check into in the future . This time though with our military discount we only had to pay $25 more for 6 days of water-parks & more which if I'm correct would be cheaper than one day admission . I'm not sure which one we like better ? I use to think it was TL but BB kiddie area is a little easier to be able to sit and watch your kiddies play and not have to chase them around . So I guess maybe BB :confused3

I think Brooklynn & Bella both would enjoy the water-parks . The kiddie areas at both parks are really nice for the little ones even ones as young as Bella . If Brooklynn can swim pretty well with a life jacket there will be more for her to do . We however are always limited to the kiddie areas & the lazy river since all 3 of mine aren't really swimmers . I think BB however has the better kiddie area it is all kinda centered right in front of the sitting area , so you have a great view of the whole thing . TL area kinda wraps around , so you have to tail your child's every move . They supply life jackets at the park for everyone that needs one at no cost, if they do TL they'll want to bring sand toys or buy some inside the gate there very cheap. We usually get to the park at opening , eat lunch there and then head back to our room around 2 or so. As far as getting your money's worth , I really don't think you do with the little ones cause there are a lot of slides they can't do . They are really limited to the kiddie area, wave pool with Mom & Dad , Lazy River w/ Mom & Dad and the Family Raft ride which is only at BB I believe . Hope this helps :) Any other questions ask away

Hey! Stopping by for a second. Read through page 3. Not making any promises but I'm gonna bookmark this and try to get myself addicted to Dis again. :lmao: All of the pictures are GREAT! Of course I must have skipped over the part where we met up back in Feb. LOL Just kidding. FYI the other outlet store on 501 is gone now too. We only have Tanger 17 left. Better than nothing! I still can't believe BATB went OOB! Weird. It was always slammed pack in the Summer.

Sorry I forgot to put you in on the Feb. update :( I didn't even have a picture to post though lol

Thanks for the outlet updates cause I probably won't get back there till next year , that is if we are still in NC ? lol

I know I know we have just been soo busy with BBQ's , T-ball , End of the Year School activities etc. etc. etc. lol

I will most def post MNSSHP & pictures of the things I bought this week & try to get day 4 done as soon as possible as it is now almost June :thumbsup2

As promised here is a picture of our MNSSHP tickets . I was not too impressed when I got these as I was expecting that the tickets would have something Halloween related on the front , no such luck !

I know that I posted pictures of spiral notebooks w/ the Disney characters on the front earlier in the report that I got at Michael's for a dollar . I have since replaced those with an idea I got from Memom & Jill's TR , thanks again ladies :) I purchased 3 Disney / Pixar encyclopedia from the DS6 school book fair to be the kids autograph books !

The encyclopedia is a great idea since it's something they can read and enjoy over and over! :)

My thoughts exactly Dawn ! I was even thinking if they take great care of them , they'll be around for there kids to enjoy one day :goodvibes

I have to go locate ours before four weeks from today!

I was thinking of having characters autograph a bag, cap, or pillowcase or something for Brooklynn for this trip. She has multiple books. A pillowcase should be easy, wouldn't you think?

Good luck with the hunt :thumbsup2

I would lean more towards a bag or cap , only because I wonder how a pillowcase would hold up & how many times could you wash it before the signatures would wash off ??

OK , so after reading several dinning reports where people were not at all happy w/ there meal at the Cali Grill & they questioned weather it was really worth 2 dinning credits. I'm now questioning my own decision to eat there & the use of 2 dinning credits ! It's been playing on my mind all day but I'm not sure where I would eat if I do cancel it ???

Any Thoughts :confused3:confused3:confused3

The thing you need to remember is everyone has their own opinion about everything and you may love something someone else hates. Have you looked at the menu? If the menu appeals to you and the family I'd give it a try. If you weren't real excited about the menu choices then I'd suggest going somewhere else.

I looked back at your adrs and noticed you don't have Whispering Canyon. Since you're staying at WL I would definitely go there. Good food and fun atmosphere for the kids. You would then still have another credit to use at your choosing.

If you want a signature meal other than Cali I'd suggest Narcossee's. My family always enjoys that :)

Good luck deciding!

Thanks for all the advice Dawn :goodvibes I did in fact cancel the ressie , I just couldn't see using 2 table credits on one meal . So our new ADR's are Whispering Canyon on arrival day 9/16 & Cape May on 9/19 . Better use of our credits or at least I think so :)

Your welcome :goodvibes It makes good sense to get the most you can out of the dining plan. Hope you enjoy the new choices!
