The Worst Part of Planning a Vacation is the WAITING!

We have a trip planned for May 26th-June 3rd during Star Wars Weekends. It will be our first time bringing people with us. I am not sure who is more excited. My niece-in-law and nephew (who are 22 and 25 and have never been there crazy I know) or me and my husband who get to experience that "first time" feeling, seeing their faces as they walk down Main Street. My nephew is a hugh Star Wars fan and thought this would be a great time for him to see THE WORLD....

That is so exciting that you are bringing your family AND they have never been to WDW before, how totally awesome to share their first experience with them. I have no doubt they will love it, especially if your nephew is a Star Wars fan. We are fairly new DVC members and haven't taken anyone with us yet, but it is one of the things I look forward to most with owning.

Here's hoping that rest of the time flies by!

We did the same thing in 2008, our two nieces (5 & 7 at the time) met us in Walt Disney World with my sister and brother-in-law. We got a 2 bedroom at OKW, and they were in Florida visiting family. No one said a word to the kids, and we did not tell our daughter, and those kids were the most excited I have ever seen them. With the families together we had a fantastic time.

I am sure you will have a great vacation!!! I just switched resorts at the 7 month window, we wont be going until October...the waiting is the hardest part!

I bet my son would LOVE Star Wars Weekends!

We love bringing people with us to WDW! Last year we brought my best friend and her kids! This December we are bringing my mother in law and brother in law! Next October we are bringing my parents! You guys will have so much fun!

star wars weekend is the best!!!! My boys LOVED being there last summer during that time!!! The only problem was that my 5 year old had his face painted like Darth Mal and, because of the humidity, it never dried. Besides smeared paint every where it was the most fun!

I know what you mean. Neighbors and good friends of ours will overlap with us. We get to go with them to MK, and I am so excited to see their kid's faces! It is their first time, so I'm sure to see many happy faces.

Thanks everyone... I am trying not to think about it. It too will be stressful trying to show them EVERYTHING in one week. To bad you have to stop and eat LOL. I know we will not be able to fit everything in one trip. But still hoping.

we are going for the 1st time at DVC and can not wait until 9/22!!!! We are also next year going on our 1st DCL in May of 2012!!! The wait is killing me lol

There are so many pro's to DVC, but the early booking (11 months out!!) makes for very long wait. I booked our family grand villa trip last June and I have had a LONG wait for it to get here. We are taking our grandchildren (kids, too) and I can't wait for it to get here. 68 more days!!!
