Ah, so I hit 84 today with my mage, and I learned something cheesy. I bought the purple guild tabard that gives 100% boost in rep. Then I noticed that my item level went down.... so apparently item level doesn't scale with the tabard... But I went and bought a cheap blue item - level 325 I think - and placed it in my bags, and now I am up to level 319.

Not sure I want to head to the Highlands right away as I barely scratched the surface of Uldum, which I really like as a zone. Only did about 45 quests there so far. Too many elites to kill there, though, so I am always looking for help.

I lost Harrison Jones.... I can see his "?" mark but I can't find him...

All their online games are offline and no ETA on when coming back..

I moved to Warhammer Online until EQ2 comes back. Could not go back to WoW right now. Cats expansion just did not do it for me.

Well we merged yesterday with the guild we've been running with. I'm hoping that this will work out well for us. So far it seems like a good move. We've enjoyed running with them before and they seem nice enough. Since I was gm of my old guild they promoted me already to officer. Soooo now we have access two 2 guild banks and 11 tabs total.

The only downside is that we were so very very close with the Cataclysm food feast and the Cauldron of Battle. I think I had our old guild up to 884/1000 and now the new guild is at 31/1000

1. What is Cata food feast? One of those holiday things? Because someone sent me a ton of different foods in the mail.

2. Can anything be done about a GM stealing from his own guild - which, BTW, was given to him with 150 members already in it? Our GM has taken 30,000g from the bank this last week plus all the high end herbs, of which their were hundreds of them. And I am the only officer, and he knocked back all my bank privileges - not that I actually use them much.

This is kind of bothering me because I am the guy who is keeping this guild together at this point. I doubt there is much that can be done. He doesn't even talk in guild chat anymore, or respond to whispers.

As a guild gets levels, and based on your reputation with the guild, you can purchase things from a guild vendor. The cata food feast is one of them. Its Catas answer to Great Feast or Fish Feast

Nah, I won't quit.... I think within the next week or so it will be my guild if I want it.... I just hope he doesn't disband it without offering it to somebody, even if not me.

Is he the only one that can take anything out of the guild bank? If he can't, I would get people to start taking things out and take them and make another guild. It stinks, but I don't think anything else can be done. If his toon had been hacked, then they might be able to do something (I think). Maybe you can try that route. With the fact that he isn't talking or responding to whispers, you can try putting in a ticket that way.

Well, now you can do heroics for better gear, especially if you want to raid... or go for achievements. You can go in all the new areas from the last patch. As some point everybody who has an 85 is playing w/o getting xp.

I have 3% to go til 85 on my mage.... saving that so I get all the "woots" and "gratz" tonight when everybody else is on.

On another note, now at least I know why my GM took all the money and the herbs out. back when we had officers besides me - last week - he was concerned that these officers were going to gquit - and take everything - so he took all the money out of the guild as well as all the best stuff. Now he just needs to put it all back.

Ah yes, guild drama. Guild drama makes Azeroth go round.....

I dont do drama. We were on a guild raid in Kara a while back. The tanks started getting into it. Arguing etc. After 5 minutes I dropped.

Guild was going what the heck Trez??!?!?!

Im not wasting my night listening to people epeen. Im not going to join the arguement. Im just going to drop group, and go play something else.

Now its the guild joke. Dont argue or Trez will leave. They rib me about it. I just say

Yep, when youre no longer any fun, I move on.

IMHO, this is the philosophy you must have

You pay $15 a month plus balloons of $50 biannually to entertain yourself. Youre not there to get them their gear, protect them from getting ganked, or escorting them so they can level fast.

Youre there for YOUR fun. If it isnt fun, why would I spend all that money to not have fun?

Simply put, if youre no fun, I move on and find fun.

So I hit 85 and now I am confused. My item level has DROPPED after putting on lots of level 333 & 339 gear. I still have some level 316 gear, but that is the lowest I have except a BoA cloak. My item level is now listed at 312????

I don't get it. All the new gear is higher than my old gear, yet my level went down?

What is the highest level blues that drop in Cata regular dungeons?

So, my internet security subscription is almost over, and I am not sure I want to use it again because it is a PITB with WoW. ( kapersky )...... what are you all using, and does it play nicely with WoW?

ON another note, I took off the BoA cloak and put on one with 333iLevel, and my ilevel went right to 332, which is nice, but my ilevel really should be 335.5 - as I did the math... But at least I qualify for heroics now.

So I have been busy in WoW...

It seems I have made Elune my new home..I am spending less and less time on Undermine as of late...and more on Elune..on alliance no less!!

So my pally on Elune has hit 68, and will be moving on to Northrend stuff...Thanks goodness...I HATE HATE HATE Outlands..LOL..I have tanked almost all of the Outland dungeons, just missing a few..I also have found a great guild over there, a level 25 at that..and the people are really nice.

Also on Elune, is my NE hunter...She dinged 80 last night!! She should have done that during the WoTLK era, but I just never could do it. She has xferred realms 2x and has settled in nicely in Elune and the new guild...I hope to hit 81 tonight and work the WoTLK heroics too...fun times..

DH and my rogues also hit 40, and still moving along nicely as well..FUN TIMES!

Alliance isn't a dirty word. I actually play on Horde and Alliance with no real preference. Actually I prefer the allaince zones to the Horde zones, I think. But as far as playing one or the other, I don't mine either one.

So my mage is 85 now, and I went to Tol Barad for the first time today. Interesting. No PvP for me. I just went because I had heard there were dailies. SO, I really know nothing about the place as I thought it was a PvP zone only.

So, if the PvP fight is on, does that mean that I have to be flagged for PvP to stay there? Also, what does it matter which faction controls it? ( I never went in Wintergrasp either, except to catch the fish for the dailies ).

And, I guess at some point I can turn the Tol Barad commendations in somewhere for gear? I already have about 5 - 6 commendations.

Tb is split up into two areas, one for the pvp and regular. Both sections have dailies but whoever is in control gets the dailies in the pvp area. If the pvp battle starts you will not be flagged for it if you aren't in the area but you really will want to watch the timer, as 15 minutes before battle the pvp area gets locked down and you can't get out (the gate shuts). I am not sure for the Ally side but for the Horde side the commendation vendor is near the portal to Org.

Tol Barad is divided into two areas. There's the part that is fought over every couple of hours, and the part where the majority of the dailies are. If you are on a PVE server you do not have to be flagged to do dailies. If your side controls TB, then there will be half a dozen more dailies in the battle area once the battle is over. You only have to be flagged in that area if the actual battle is going on, but it doesn't really matter as the dailies are unavailable there until the battle is over (battles can be anywhere from a couple of minutes to about half an hour).

Each side has a quartermaster in thier respective camps in TB where you can redeem commendations. There's the usual assortment of weapons, trinkets, etc, even a ground mount and flying mount.

ETA: Nayan beat me to it. The Alliance vendor is to your left on a little rise if you are looking from the center of the camp to the bridge in front of it. For some reason I had a hard time finding this guy the first time I went to TB on an Ally toon.

Tol Barad is broken into 2 areas...there is the dailes area, where all the main quests are. You DO NOT have to be in PVP to be here. Next to that, is the actual PVP zone of Tol Barad where the battle takes place every cpl hours. Entering here during a battle WILL flag you..not 100% when a battle is not going on..If you control Tol Barad, there are even more quests to do here..so having control is a good thing. The battle is OK..usually pretty lopsided when I play though.

Yes Tol Barad commendations can be turned in for gear, and there is a cute little non-combat pet too..
