OK, somebody asked to start one, so here it is....


I have seen some of being played in Beta as I have a friend who was involved in Beta, and it is AWESOME! I've been playing since about 6 weeks after it came out 6 years ago, and I still mostly love it. Really looking forward to new content..... I can't wait for the underwater instance.

I can't wait for it to come out. Looking forward to new content. I really dislike these periods where there is nothing going on because people are bored with the game and/or there's no progression left.

I'm eagerly awaiting this as well. I just got another of my toons to 80 and I really need to gear her up. Well that and start saving $ from farming and selling on the AH.

I'm on a crazy server... at level 73, I already have 21,000+ gold... mostly from farming thorium and rugged leather... I have a few 80's, but none of them have done heroics.... I'm way too bad a player to go in those without my buddies to keep me going.

I can not wait! Goblin shaman is so in my very near future. My son got beta, but I have seen a few things because I want to be surprised. What servers are you all on? Gorgonnash here. I have an 80 arcane mage with dual spec of frost for pvp. Also, have an 80 destro lock. Quite a few toons that are almost 80 including a druid and a paladin. I will for sure level my mage first. My guild does ICC weekly, but I do not have time right now to do so. I am on a break during this quarter, but last day of school is the 22 and then Disney from Nov 28 to Dec 3. I will have until after the New Year to play Wow for days on end. Can' wait! What are everyones plans for what you are rolling or leveling first?

My DH and DS play and DH was offered to be part of a Beta testing something. anyone in a good guild or can recommend one please PM me. I keep suggesting they find one but the still haven't found anything... Or is it not called a guild on WOW. as you can guess I don't play but I like to watch

It is called a guild...

and to recommended a good one would require knowing which server ( realm ) they are on, and then we could only do it, if we had characters on that server / realm.

I'm not all that excited for it, honestly. The changes they're making in the pre-expac patch sound like a nightmare; our guild master is playing on the PTR and apparently even heroic 5 mans are a challenge with the changes to tanking and healing! Since we're still working on Kingslayer, that's just not good news.

The new content sounds like fun, especially the underwater zone, but I'm disappointed we're only getting 5 more levels. LK was too short for me; I leveled 70 to 80 in a week and we were right back to the raiding grind so quickly! And I hate the combined raid lockout idea. We're going to have a real hard time working that with the size and makeup of our guild, and I suspect that is going to get ugly for a while until the kinks are worked out.

They are on Argent Dawn, I hope I spelled it right. They are both pretty good on high levels. I'd play too if I had even the slightest amount of eye hand co-ordination. My DH gave me the job of marching his gnome across a long area and I could barely keep him on the road Good thing he thought my zig zagging gnome was cute, he looked like he had too much mead in him

LOL, it takes me about about 10 days per level usually form 70 - 80....

I felt great today when I got to 73 in just 3 days.....

BTW, there are nearly 4000 NEW QUESTS that will be in Cata... So I am sure you can find things to do other than just raid. Me, well, I have just started doing dailies for the first time, even though I have about 7 o8 level 70+ toons.

YAY!!! Subbing!!

I have been in beta now for almost all of it. I am looking forward to the worgen coming out...I have been playing a worgen hunter, and I messed with archeology too. Of course I am worried about a lot of the changes, as our guild is still working toward Kingslayer too.

So...what realms is everyone in...just curious...horde or alliance?

My 3 mains..Boomkin, Warlock and a Fury Warrior..all horde..I lso have a ret pally, a survival hunter and a ton of random alts..

I am mostly found on Undermine, or Drak'Thul

4000 new quests! I won't be seeing much of my husband

I am not a major player either but I do enjoy exploring, gathering herbs, mining etc. And I enjoy the surprise on his face when I tell how much I have been able to level on my own

Yeah, I'm sure I'll spend quite a bit of time on the achievements. I just got my Seeker title and ZG faction exalted, and I'm working on Loremaster and The Exalted title achieves now. And I'm kind of working on 100 mounts but not all that diligently; I've been stuck at 63 for weeks now.

And when I say these things in a non-WoW setting, I start to realize just how pathetic it sounds. WoW is just our thing, though; with 3 kids and living 25 miles from the movie theatre and any restaurants worth going to, we've developed some odd "couple time" habits. DH & I both play, I've got three 80s, he's got five, we're in the same guild and we raid together 3 or 4 nights a week after the kids are in bed.

All of my toons are Alliance side in Draenor. I've been in the same friendly, semi-casual, all-adult raiding guild since '07 and I love having all my toons in one place. My mains are combat rogue (my very favorite toon ), prot warrior, and resto druid, and then I've got a bunch of low level alts I seldom play.

I play mainly on Winterhoof server - Alliance. I do have several on The Scryers server too but rarely play over there. My mains are 80 prot warrior and 80 ret pally. Working on a Druid and Priest also.

And I'm all about achievements too. I'm most looking forward to archaeology. I'm sure there will be a lot of Indiana Jones tie-ins. I just love all the little pop culture references lol.

You sound like DH and I...Wow is what sustained us as our "entertainment" when we had to cut everything out of our budget when I was unemployed. We figured $30 a month was a small price for our sanity..LOL..and it worked..

DH and I also casually raid..we working on ICC guild is about 10/12 right now. Last night a bunch of us decided to do some pre-made PVP groups for battleground honor to get the mounts we are trying to collect. It was great fun, and usually I DONT PVP..LOL..

So DH spend a LOT of time leveling up toons together...and I borrow money from him..LOL, he is my sugar daddy

I just met my boss's son, who just so happens to be a WoW player as well...my boss, is not.

Upon meeting him, we quickly JUMPED right into a fast paced WoW conversation about toons and levels and PVP and everything...I look over at my poor boss...and he has a deer in the headlights glossed over look in his eyes...he was CLUELESS!!

Has this ever happened to you?

Ugh, no! We cleared through Sindragosa again but got stuck on Lich King last night, and we were planning to extend the lock but our guild leader isn't going to if the patch drops. I guess dungeons have been so tough on the PTR that she just doesn't think we can handle that level of content immediately post-patch - she said ICC geared groups are wiping in heroic 5mans!

I had really, really, really hoped for one more week so we could get Kingslayer before they screw with all our mechanics. Even Blizz is acknowledging that this patch is the end of 80 progression, calling it a "lame duck" period before the new expansion and telling players on the forums who are upset about the premature end to ICC raiding to "chill a little, sit back, and watch Deathwing destroy your world". Um, yeah, but what do we do with the 7 weeks between now and then?

But MMO-Champion is predicting this week and they're usually dead-on. And I think they're right; Blizz can't drop the patch next week with Blizz-con coming up that weekend. So it'll either go live ready or not tomorrow or we'll get a two-week reprieve.
